"Can I go out and see?" Muria concealed none of her curiosity, asking Hesel. The sight before her eyes was too magical.
Although the World Tree was somewhat overrated, it was still astounding, with each leaf evolving into a miniature half-plane. Suppose it could continue to grow like this, could these half-planes evolve into real worlds someday in the future? A world on each leaf, how terrifying was that?
"Follow me." Hesel grabbed Muria's hand, and led her toward the edge. He walked her onto a nearly invisible path that one couldn't discern without a close look.
"Is this the vein of the World Tree?" Muria looked at the plant-natural-pattern-filled path beneath her feet and asked the elf.
"Veins?" Hesel nodded, "You could think of it that way. But it's not that simple, it is also a spatial bridge, connecting my little garden to the main world."
