DAY TIME
Elley woke up.She could see her brother,Teri,sitting in front of the house.
"You left at night,where did you go to?",she asked,sleepily,as she walked to him,rubbing her eyes.
Teri removed the map from underneath his upper clothing and gave it to elley.
Elley opened it,"what is it?,where we are robbing next?".
"I've always wondered when we will start our journey to find the guardians and the king of the former dynasty of delmos.
This shows that the king is still alive.This map,little sister,is the map to find the other two guardians of the king and the king athelin".
Elley furrowed her eyebrows,"if this is the map,why are two places only marked x,isn't it supposed to be three?.The king and the two guardians".
"Let me see", Selena stands to look at the map with elley.
"It's truly two,brother",Selena said.
"Maybe one of them is dead", Selena suggested.
"We don't know that,we don't even know if the X's marked belong to the king and one guardian or two guardians.mwybe the map will show us the answer after finding the marked ones",Teri said.
"When do we embark on our journey", elley asked.
"After a few days.But first,I have to meet someone",Teri said.
"But...,Teri.You'll need to ride a horse for the journey,I won't be able to guide you.Its different from when you're walking",Selena said concerning.
Teri looked down as he smiled miserably,"you're right.....",he wiped his face with his hands and rested his elbow on his knee with his face resting on his palm,"am blind",he said.
"What are you talking about?",elley asked.
"1st elder sister said facts.A blind man can't ride a horse".
Selena instantly regretted what she said,"oh Teri".
"No,it's all good.you're right",Teri said.
"Then we need one more person with us,so he can accompany you someone who'll travel with us willingly",elley said.
"Willingly",Teri muttered.
"I'll find someone here in the village,or do you have someone in mind, brother?",elley asked.
Teri thought of mizak,"no one",he said.

NIGHT TIME
IN THE MELVOR'S RESIDENCE,MIZAK'S SIDE.
Teri was only on his trousers in mizak's bath pond in his bathhouse,resting his arms in the stones.
Mizak came inside his bathhouse and removed his clothes.
He checked his triceps,stretched,yawned and turn around to have his bath.
He panicked,"that startled me",he was embarrassed,so he tried to cover himself with his hands.
Teri turned towards him,using the direction of his voice,"You should be used to my sudden appearances by now.And if you're trying to cover yourself,don't be silly,am blind.You can have your bath".
Mizak exhaled,"I know you're blind but you invade my privacy",he enters the water.
"Privacy.you have that?",Teri grinned.
"But I must say,am surprised by your presence.Usually you'll see me after weeks when we encounter Did you mi_______".
Teri cut him off,"Happy or not?",he asked.
"Happy",mizak said.
Mizak splashed water on Teri's face.
Teri raised one eyebrow up,"what was that for?".
"Remove your blindfold,I want to see your eyes",mizak asked.
"My eyes?",Teri smiled miserably as he touched hus eyes," some blind people eyes may look similar to a regular person's smile while some will be different.
My eyes are white and it's not beautiful.You might have nightmares",Teri chuckled slightly.
"Scary it not,it's up to me",mizak said.
Teri exhaled and touched the blindfold knot at the back of his head and loosened it.
Opening his eyes slowly with his head hung down,he was a little scared that mizak will be terrified of his eyes.
"Raise,your head ,Teri",mizak said as he gazed at him.
Teri raised his head slowly with his eyes opened.
Mizak went silent and Teri turned his head to the other side and tied his blindfold.
"Are you terrified that you can't speak anymore?",Teri asked.
"I wasn't terrified I just haven't seen eyes like that, "mizak said.
"What was your eye colour before you went blind?",mizak asked.
"Blue.But my mum said it was turning black.She said it wasn't strange,that some people can be born with a particular eye colour and changes as they grow,while some don't change",Teri said.
Mizak tried to imagine 7 year old Teri with blue eyes and 17 year old Teri with black eyes.


"You are always curious if things,hope it doesn't kill you,one day",Teri said.
"Don't worry,it won't",mizak reassured.
They fell silent for some seconds.
"This may be the last time we meet",Teri said,breaking the silence.
Mizak perked as he furrowed his eyebrows,"what do you mean?".
"There's something i am meant to do since I was little.The day has done and I must fulfill my promise to my father ",Teri said.
"What promise ",mizak asked, curiously as he moved nearer to Teri.
"You know well,am from this kingdom.The one who sits on the throne is delmos kingdom is not the true king.
I've heard delmos hasn't been doing well since he made himself king.He enjoys himself while people suffer.The taxes increases every time.some sell their children to survive but still due at the end due to hunger.
The rightful king must be restored",Teri said.
Mizak lowered his voice as he spoke beside Teri,"Are you planning a rebel?.If so,you should forget about it.Ive heard about that king,he is ruthless Do you even have warriors? .You can't do it alone, Teri ".
"Are you.....,truly concerned about me?",Teri asked.
"Of course",mizak said, concerningly .
They fell silent for few seconds again.
Then Teri broke the silence.
Teri exhaled,"mizak",he called.
It was the first time Teri ever called mizak by his name,instead of Mr or dear nobleman.
"Can j trust you?",Teri asked, anticipating if to tell mizak as about the promise or not.
"My heart and mind is clean but If you have doubts,you shouldn't trust me".
They went silent for a few seconds again.
Teri crossed his arm across his chest and exhaled ."The map given to me yesterday is the map to find the guardians and the last king of the former dynasty of delmos, athelin.
I'll have to find them,even though I don't know what to do next.I mist find them first".
Mizak gazed at him while he spoke,"You .....,,you.....,you're looking for athelin?.Is it a map that makes you believe that he's alive?"
"Yes",Teri said.
"Teri",mizak called.
"What if, Teri.what if .. ....,What if he's living a good life and doesn't want to be the king.
Teri.All his family members were killed in front of him on his coronation day.Everyone closed to him also died,Teri",his breath shook as he spoke.
A tear rolled down Mizak eye,"I don't think,athelin wants to that place.It caused trauma.
Mizak got out from the water and cleaned his body,"wait here,I'll get you a new set of clothes ".
