The way Joe started to talk in cryptic made Ahli confused. However, the end, if Ahli thought correctly, it might be the great first card mage might be having the same identity crisis like him, being tired of all that had happened with his life.
"This end is the end. Like you, yourself. Being here, all alone. You were planning on ending things your way, aren't you?"
Ahli saw how good Joe was at deducing situations with small clues, and that impression itself came from how similar he saw himself to him.
"I might have slipped that sort of information to you I guess."
