Two days into their journey, Wen gets to know more about Fairy Tian. While he looks their age, he is actually ten times their age. He is also from the Sky Faction, which is the head clan of Fairies and the highest known authority in the Milan Forest of Mysteries, in the absence of the 12 Guardian Mages. He is also one of the members of the Sky Faction allowed to interact with humans and assist them when necessary. Wen has heard many things about fairies and their abilities, and in a forest of mysteries, the Sky Faction is quite a mystery.
As they travel, they encounter some zombies along the way. Strangely, whenever they knocked one down, it would get back up and regenerate. Wen yells, "how are they getting back up? This should not be possible!". Tian closes his eyes and expands his other senses, asking the forest for help. He then says, "the person responsible for these zombies is nearby. He is the one fixing them. We need to take him down. It is like Sky Fairy said. The forest is not fighting back for some reason, but it will help us. It is up to us!".
Jenni then grabs Wen and Tian and leaps 5 meters in the direction Tian pointed out, getting them closer to the individual. However, he was not alone. There are others, but they were cloaked. One was a woman dressed in purple and orange robes. She stood elegantly upon the branch of a tree, looking down at them. Without uttering a sound, she sends a barrage of fire arrows generated by her power. Behind her, was an Archer's Formation that allows the conjurer to fire as many arrows as their power allows.
Tian summons a shield as Jenni slammed her hand down, sending a shockwave towards the tree. Wen charges towards the zombie master, but is obstructed by the other person. This person was armed with two swords. Wen managed to react in time, stopping 1 meter away and summoning two of his daggers that were disguised as patterns on his clothes. Wen's three dagger technique allows him to fight multiple swordsmen from a safe distance and they sometimes act independently. In this case, it is one man armed with two swords.
"You will go no further cultivator!", the swordsman exclaimed. His moves are swift and precise, his intent to kill could be felt from several miles. These are no doubt, extreme individual with no mercy in them whatsoever. To his surprise, Wen's daggers are not easy to bypass. Not to mention the strange effect it seems be having on his swords. The man yells, "SCREECHING BLADE, SLICED AIR!" A high-pitched screech assaulted the ear, causing many woodland creatures to fall to ground as they bled from their eyes and ears.
However, all three of Wen's daggers circled around his head, protecting him from the deadly sound. This move informs Wen about who he is facing. This swordsman is Juan Mo, The Prancing Banshee, who famously wiped out many clans and villages on his own. He is also a Red Ranked Bounty. "How did I end up facing you today?" Wen thought to himself. Juan made his twin blades using his own essence and carefully crafted a consciousness into it. This sword is perfect for war and assassinations. His screeching blade technique has three stages, and he just used the basic stage, sliced air. If he employed the other two, Wen will be done for.
Since this is his foe, Wen pulls out an ace of his own. Meanwhile, Tian and Jenni are still going head-to-head with who they just discovered to be the Scorched Archer. She is another notorious figure in history. She has no known name, so she often referred to as Lady Archer or Scorched Lady. Either way, she is not going to be easy to beat. When compared to Juan Mo, Lady Archer is far more deadly. Juan is responsible for the deaths of one hundred thousand people, while Lady Archer has twelve times that much under her belt.
Lady Archer is similar to Desmond, as she too possesses a Fire Bird spirit. While Desmond went into hiding, she joined the likes of Juan and that necromancer. She stole some scrolls from Mountain Elves and learned one of their secret techniques, Devine Archery. Just as they were about to strike, they felt a heaviness fall upon them. It was coming from Wen's direction. It even disrupted what the necromancer was doing. Lady Archer and that necromancer ran to Juan's side, erecting a powerful shield.
Lady Archer exclaims, "why is it this bothersome thing again?!" It suddenly dawned on Jaun who cries, "the Withering Demon lives? We're done for! Our long life is over. I told you we'd pay sooner or later." However, the necromancer added, "no. this is his power, but this is not him. This is stronger and I sense something else". Just as he says those words, the ground quakes and the sound of rusty iron gates creaking fills the air. Stange objects then burst from the ground, sending dirt everywhere.
Wen summoned a barrage of iron pellets from the beneath the forest floor to do his bidding. Tian then said to Jenni, "we should stay back for now. This is incredibly potent dark magic designed to kill. I didn't think I'd ever feel this power again". He then thought to himself, "did he surpass even him? This feels stronger, more deadly. Impressive". Just by squinting his eyes, he turns the rough iron pellets into perfect balls, firing them at their shield. After some time, he then instructs Tian and Jenni to cover their ears quickly.
The iron balls slowly grinded together, causing a blood curdling screech that not only shattered the shield by creating Juan's ability, but it also stunned them momentarily. Wen then commanded, "WILL OF IRON!" His barrage of iron balls fused together, forming a giant iron hand. That is when Tian shouts, "NO! Jenni, we need to stop this". As the iron hand fell, Jenni super jumped in front of the three practitioners, prepared to catch the hand.
Using what is called Planetary Body, she lifts her hands above her head, stopping the iron hand. However, she could feel the weight increase slowly. As the immobilizing effect began to wear off, wholes appeared in three fingers on the hand, releasing iron chains. Moving like wild vines, they wrapped around the three practitioners, restricting their movements. In fact, the more they struggled, the stronger the chains became.
After waving some hand signs, Tian declares, "DIVINE BINDING!". In the wind, faint whispers traveled, as multiple golden energy rings spun around them, making a quiet but audible deep whooping sound. The iron hand lifted, returning the metal to the ground and Wen calls off his Withering Daggers. Divine Binding is a sort of administrative unbreakable formation, designed to halt hostilities and give the caster absolute command of the designated space.
Further action taken while the formation is active, will result in Divine Punishment equivalent to the offense. Once activated, no one but the caster can leave or enter. Zombies surrounded the formation attempting to get in, but naturally couldn't. That is when Lady Archer asked, "who are you to the Withering Demon Wil Hung? Why do have his spiritual tool?". With an unmistakably distasteful expression upon his face he responds, "he is my grandfather. Before he died in battle, he entrusted me with his daggers".
Tian interjected, "that is it! Wil Hung is your grandfather. It makes sense now. That is why the feeling I had was so familiar. I dare say, you have surpassed the old man in mastery of the daggers. And you three has come face to face with your consequence". "How is it that you are so familiar with my grandfather's spiritual tool as you call it?". Wen posed this question to Lady Archer, but another answered. "That is because, they are the dark fire that attacked Little Lou and killed him".
This person was outside of the formation and with the wave of a hand, vaporized the zombies before her. Tian immediately bows and declares, "greetings Sky Fairy". She then smiles at Tian and asks, "mind letting me in?". Tian immediately created doorway, letting her in. Everyone also bows and acknowledges, "Sky Fairy". Wen turns to her and asks, "What did you mean by what you said earlier?"...
