Chapter 15; So you want to stay hungry?
He stretched out his hand and caught hers before pulling her onto his lap.
He wrapped his arms around her thin waist and he softly whispered, "Didn't I already say no guns at home."
"I can't do without it, it's for safety purposes, after all, many criminals that I have caught, their friends and families are after my life, so I need it just in case." She responded.
"Oooh..." He lightly frowned as he bit her neck, he didn't see her react in any way, he felt like whatever was on his lap was just an emotionless robot doll.
"Sigh!" He released her as he stood up and walked into the bathroom to shower.
Xie Mo walked over to her bed and settled down picked up her mobile phone and went through her emails, she didn't see anything meaningful so she placed it down.
She crisscrossed her legs contemplating on her next plans, and that's when Lai JiCheng walked out drying his hair with a towel while he rubbed it gently across his head.
"Wear something presentable, we are going down to eat." He spoke out as he walked into a closet and picked up a simple black dress for her.
"I'm not going down.." her cold voice responded still her head bowed looking at her phone fiddling around with it.
"So you want to stay hungry? Or are you fasting?" He questioned her coldly as he passed the clothes to her forcefully.
'Could I say I don't need to eat all the time!' she took the dress and dressed up as she roughly wrapped her hair into a bun.
She wore sandals and she walked out of the bedroom down to the dining room while Lai JiCheng tagged behind her.
She pulled a seat and she settled down, the maids hurriedly served her first as they feared her, they didn't want a bullet to pass through their brains.
She began munching on her food as others turned around to face her gazing at her with condemning eyes.
The maids served the food as they all began eating, Yeng Shu politely picked up some pork ribs and stretched her hand to place it inside Xie Mo's plate.
Before she could put it inside, Xie Mo roughly pushed the plate away into the middle of the table, you could see disgust as she forcefully pushed her seat back with the back of her.
"I'm sorry Xie Mo, I just thought of serving you your favorite, we always did it all the time..." She embarrassedly explained herself as her eyes watered.
" You aren't even worthy to be my servant and I don't need your services." Her cold voice retorted back as she picked up a napkin and wiped her mouth before striding away towards the stairs.
Lai JiCheng frowned wondering when did their relationship get so estranged, they have always been close and had a better relationship.
"Come back here." His command echoed in her ears.
She halted at the first step of the stairs, "I already lost my appetite, get rid of them before tomorrow morning, they are all an eyesore." Her voice was emotionless as she fiddled with her phone lazily.
" You need to get used to them, she is my cousin and my mother, they are my family members, don't expect me to throw them out just because you said." He didn't relent and thus he seriously cautioned her.
" Son, she isn't good enough for you, hurry up and divorce her." Yeng Xie snorted coldly, how can she talk to her son like that? Shouldn't she know she has to respect and bow to her husband?
"Oohhh... Let me know when you have prepared the divorce papers, I'm out of here." Instead of ascending the stairs, she turned around and walked towards the main door.
" Where are you going?" He was getting frustrated with her wild behaviors. In the past, Xie Mo was kind, sweet, and caring but this person here wasn't a human.
" Give me a call when you want me to sign the divorce papers or they have gone back to their homes." She stepped out of the entrance door while she waved her phone.
She walked out of the iron gate and immediately dialed Mu Xi's number and called him to come over and pick her up along the streets.
Lai JiCheng didn't want to fight with her at the same time he couldn't send his mother packing.
Before he could come to a conclusion she had already vanished.
