Killing Yourself to Live

Everyone wants a happy life, but not everyone is reasonable enough at how they make themselves happy. Elotro Risas loves his nation of Decou, but nothing breaks his heart more than seeing his fellow Decouns slowly killing themselves with a certain nootropic known as Blue Moon, as if Decou hasn't had its tough hardships enough throughout history. Within a nation of a bleak, weird and dark future, Elotro goes on a journey to not only eliminate Blue Moon, but with a new age full of firm rules, laws, and certain people in society, will he be able to achieve what he calls as "the ultimate form" of serving his country?

Elotro Risas Tapes #3: Or: It is what it Is

Agent Delaney,

At this point, I am lost.

I am tired.

I am awake.

I am reformed.

Though you have approached me following news of the BLV being raided without the consent of CIB, I am afraid I cannot share you information beyond what has happened to me.

The maggots, sounds of war including bullets and death defying screams, as well as the close

up of spiders have already wiped my mind out following my time in the Reformation Camp.

At some point, I will return home, and return to work, as a citizen of Decou that knows his place. Ignacio and his wife will soon understand it, their son Santino would understand it, he may be sent to Juvenile Reformation camp. The remaining members of the BLV may understand that certain things are beyond our control, even if we want the best for our nation.

Kyle was right.

We were all killing ourselves to live, harming our bodies, mind or risking things we own to achieve things that not everyone would agree on. In fact, and you may argue that Reformation has gotten to me too much, but stay away from Saturn-Voyde and other businesses associated with it.

Some things are meant to be done as they have been planned, to be conducted by people with the authority to take action.

It is what it is.

Hello, some of you readers may be wondering: why is this story completed and why it took a while to get it updated?

1. My time for the last few months has been spent on getting my current project, Drip Work being written. With the book being featured from time to time, I had to spend more time on the quality as well as outlining future chapters.

2. This story was meant to be this short and as a small throwback to classic dystopian novels like 1984, but I am aware that dystopian isn't super popular on this sight. So rather than dragging it further, it ends here.

Thank you for your understanding, readers. I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this novel and place it in their library.
