Chapter 17 The Flood of Blood Event P3

Ao in these two weeks, I had stayed with the Kozato Family while I got close to them as well as probed some information from them if they knew anything about the Simon Familia at all. It seemed that Enma, Mami, and Makoto seemed not to know anything about it as I implied words relating to it, but Makoto's wife, although feigned ignorance, seemed to know something as she reacted when I told her the word Vongola, as well as Simon.

However, she seemed to be reasonably great at hiding it as, after I saw her reaction towards those two words, she quickly managed to calm herself. Even when I bought a new skill from the system that is perfect for my assassination skill, the B-Class Skill Stealth(1) costing 700 system points, which I used to look around the Kozato House, undetected to see if I can find anything about the Mafia as well as observing Mrs, Kozato's action if she is indeed hiding something, however, after this two weeks I had not found anything notable, relating to it, although I do sometimes feel a slight pressure coming from Mrs. Kozota gaze when she sometimes, looks at me weirdly, which makes me think she either suspects me as a spy since I mentioned those keywords before or something else.

Anyways, aside from that information, nothing of note happened for me these two weeks aside from my Blood Clone's encounter with Hayato giving me all that extra system rewards. And so now, after staying in the Kozato Household for two weeks, while trying to find anything significant, as well as getting along with Enma, which these two weeks, in the system already had reached rank 3 in the system relationship tab along with Mami, which had achieved rank four as through this two weeks. However, she seemed very tomboyish and tough, she got along with me quickly, which reminded me a bit of Kyoko in her actions sometimes, but that may be just my thoughts.

And so today, on Dec 19, 1999, the date when the system quest is said to expire, as I was talking and playing with the two Kozato Siblings, the System suddenly prompted me that the Quest is finally about to begin in a few minutes, seeing this I immediately started to be prepared as thankfully, it is already night time, and so to prevent the Kozato Family not to discover Daemon Spade's appearance, since after the time I stayed with them, my Initial plan to, relocate their family somewhere else with my connections as a famous mangaka and novelist, had changed and I. However, they are just average families; I see that they seem to be happy living an ordinary life. If I just forcefully drag them into this, even if they are already kind of involved in the mafia world, I would feel regretful for it.

So using a quite expensive 3300 system points to buy a super rare item Dark Sealing Formation, reminiscent of those Martial Formations of Chinese Novels from my DWF's memories, I used the formation in the middle of the Kozato Household to protect the building from most supernatural attacks, which from my test also includes DWF, As well as buying a sound canceller spell tag costing 130 system points, to mute my encounter with Demon Spade later not to alert them.

After buying and setting this formation and spell tag inside the house, I waited until Demon Spade's attack tonight.

[[10PM Dec 19 Kozato Household ]]

[Tsuna] "After all my preparation and research this last few days, it's finally time, huh although I did have fun with Mami and Enma-san through these days probably because they reminded me of myself before the system or Mami being an interesting girl to play with, Demon's about to attack now, how long would it start system?"

[[25 Mins Before The Quest Activates]]

[Tsuna] "Heh so close, finally after almost two years of having you, I could fight something that is neither an animal nor just a training dummy, although Demon Spade should be strong since he is one of Vongola Primo's Mist Guardian, and had been strong enough to break out of Vendice himself, so even if I trained with an op system for 2 years now, I still don't know if I can defeat him or at least prevent him from harming the Kozato Family and complete the Quest... This is going to be interesting."

And as Tsuna had thought of this while watching over the two friends he made this last few weeks, an unknown misty figure had at the same time manifested on top of one of the roofs along with another figure wearing a thick cloak, which made the figure not be distinguished closer.

[On A Rooftop near the Kozata Household]

[Daemon Spade] "Hmm, does lousy CEDEF members. I at least expected resistance from their weak attacks, but they all hilariously died with just one slash; hahaha, goes to show that Giotto was an idiot for being too soft, making the next generations of Vongola become the 7th Powers in the Underworld, among the 8 great powers, if only he had listened we would have dominated the Underworld and took over all those pathetic other factions."

[???] "Watch your mouth, Daemon, don't think that you are strong enough to fight the other Major Factions."

[Daemon Spade] " What did you say short stack, Don't think that I am afraid of your lousy Ghoul Organization; the only reason that I am helping you with your cannibalistic goals is your leader's promise for it and the cash. Your group is just the number 1 terrorist group of the 8th Power, and your just a kid who has a high rank in it; I'm a mist guardian. Your Kagune attacks only have minimal effects on me anyways."

And when the short cloaked figure heard Daemon's words, although the figure was wearing clothes covering the whole body, it could still be slightly seen with the Figure's fists that he seemed frustrated by Daemon's words but decided to stay silent and calm down, as the cloaked figure knew that with him alone he couldn't defeat this Hundred-Year-Old Guy.

[???] "tch Don't be too cocky hundred-year-old grandpa although I'm no match for you the organization, could annihilate you even if your strong, against hundreds of enemies, no man can come out unscathed, besides you haven't even completed the mission right you still have to eliminate the last descendants of Simon, here and obtain the secrets of their Familia, that could let us complete your goal as well as progressing the organization's goal according to our per agreement."

[Daemon] "Don't call me grandpa we all know that in this world aside from normal humans, those guys from the other factions even reach thousands of years old, hell your ghoul race has twice the lifespan of a human right, And don't worry about those pesky Simon Familia, Their powers from long ago, had already deteriorated that the remnants of their group couldn't even compare to new mafia organizations popping out this decade."

[???] "Well, this your quite arrogant, aren't you, which I don't care, you're about to start the massacre, right well then, make sure to get the info from that woman before you kill her, and you could do anything with that Idiot Makoto as well as the kids inside, Well then It's been a pleasure(Not) to work with you Mr.Daemon hope you complete this mission cleanly unlike last time."

And as the cloaked figure said this, a sudden vermilion wing-like appendage had grown from the cloaked figures' back as with those vermillion wings the cloaked figure flew away in the night of Rome, away from the place were Daemon was standing at earlier.

[Daemon] 'Good thing that ghoul brat finally had left my back it's been annoying for him to follow thanks to his boss's order constantly, I swear once I reformed Vongola I'll immediately destroy that guy's organization, for making me do all these jobs of his, in exchange for helping me escape Vendice, He's an idiot if he thinks I'll willing cooperate with someone like him, Sigh Well then it's already time isn't then well then I wonder what type of expression she will show me once, I kill her entire family he.'

And as Daemon had murmured these words, he then used his Mist Flames to then quickly teleport towards the Kazeto Household to complete his goals tonight, but right before changing his appearance, using his mist flames to camouflage his looks to look exactly like the CEDEF Leader Iemitsu Sawada, to antagonize and begin his plan for the future to pit the Vongola and Simon Familia in the future as he knew even if the Simon Familia was now an insignificant Mafia Group their unique DWF rings and quite common Earth Attribute Dying Will Flames among their group, would be the perfect equal for Vongola's Sky Attribute Flames.

As I was waiting for Daemon to finally arrive here so that I could finish my system quest and obtain the system rewards, I then noticed from the outside that a thick fog had suddenly started to manifest, which made me immediately think that Daemon's Mist Flames which he probably manifested to prevent outsiders from interfering with his plans to massacre the Kozato's which he probably didn't expect me to be here, had finally arrived. As I saw this, I smiled as I feel excited that for once I could finally use my strength for something other than training, and so after that, I used my skill Danger Sense to try and locate Daemon's location, which I Immediately found to be right on top of the Building.

So using my stealth skill, I then quickly headed towards the top of the house with my sky flames to confront the daemon. Still, before that, I used my Skill Mane Mane no Mi to change my appearance, so in any case, Daemon would not associate our battle if he manages to escape to me in the future since he still is the Original Vongola Mist Guardian even if he is a villain who would mean that if I plan to become the Vongola Decimo in the future, I would need to complete the same test like me from the AU to unlock the Vongola Rings true power.

And so after I changed my appearance to look like a well-built teen, with a random face, I then confronted Daemon on top of the roof, just as he seemed to be planning to destroy the roof to enter the house and murder the Kozato Family when he saw me I saw that he was surprised as it seems he didn't expect someone to confront him suddenly just as he was planning to start his mission, let alone someone with Sky Dying Will Flames as he saw me with my Proto-Gloves that I had bought from the System that acted like the X-Gloves from the Tsuna from that AU, to increase my battle strength which this skill costed about 350 points due to it being weaker than the X-Gloves which was in its description.

[Daemon] "Huh, who are you, and sky flames, eh, are you from Simon? No, they should not have any connections right now with this family. You have Sky Attribute, so no way are you part of Simon, and by your looks, you seem to know of my plan ha, did not expect another brat would actually annoy me right now and even prevent my plans, eh, Well then, no matter, your just a random kid with some rare DWF's anyways, no way you can manage to fight head-on, Ha sorry kid, it's your fault for trying to stop me. "

And just as Daemon said those words, a trident formed from Mist Flames had then manifested in his hands as he in a blink of an eye, then dashed behind me, intending to stab his Trident straight into my chest.
