chapter 19; living in the past
Arya stood frozing on the spot she wanted to move but hearing that name, it gave her some sort of comfort and happiness and she felt somewhere and the back of her mind screaming'so I'm still his little hua' seriously why would she even care. She tried to wriggle her hand out of his but he was strongly holding it then she felt him pull her to him in a fast motion making her bump so hard on his rock- like abs, inhaling his scent again, he cupped her cheeks and whispered softly, his voice cracking like he wanted to cry
"i'm so sorry for leaving you all those years, look I don't know why you forgot me but I promise I just want to help you get your revenge, no one else can agree to do this kind of job for you and leave with no strings attached, I want to help you as your friend, I think that's why Sheila chose me please even if you won't ever love me I'll still have you as my friend, it's better than nothing, gosh I tried to stay away from you but I couldn't, it was like toture for me please just let me help you" he begged. Arya was so confused she didn't understand herself, she wanted to agree but something was stopping her, she was scared that the feelings she had for him will ignite again. She couldn't do it so she abruptly pushed him and ran away she was almost at the door when she heard a voice from the kitchen "seriously Arya why do you always run, come and face it and get over it"
She saw Sheila leaning on a wall next to the kitchen "you need him right and he's lovingly offering himself, just take it, forget your past and trauma and move on or you'll miss out on amazing things Arya. I know it's gonna be hard but I'll be here" Sheila advised her "when?" was all Arya could say pertaining to when she came "i came not long ago and I went to the kitchen to make something as I haven't eaten" Sheila said as she sat Arya on the couch "arya he's been longing to see you, he wants to help you and he doesn't expect you to love him back, just go with the flow, get comfortable with him and be his friend okay, he cares about him don't keep breaking his heart again, I know you're scared but face your fears he's not the type to break your heart, you deserve a second chance in love, it's up to you" Sheila lovingly advised " Sheila you're right maybe I have been running for so long it's time to face my fears, I'll try, thanks, I deserve to be happy" Arya replied with a smile. "that's my girl" Sheila cheered and hugged her.
Arya decided she won't stay in her shell again, she will be happy and will try to trust mi rue again, she didn't promise loving him again but being his friend was something she could try, she would do it. It's time to stop living in the past, letting her past affect her present and future.
