You had better open your eyes and watch your lovely boyfriend!

Mia was in utter disbelief, she immediately stood up pacing up and down the room. Stopping, she turned and looked at Kahlan furiously.

"Kay! What is wrong with you? How long will you keep defending Leo? How can you say such thing about me?! I and Marcello went through so much hassle finding you. Leo was nowhere to be found! If you don't believe me, then you had better open your eyes well and watch your lovely boyfriend disrespect you!"

Mia grabbed her purse and fished out her phone. She couldn't believe Kahlan was this ignorant.

She wanted to thank the stars for remembering to get the video footage before leaving the cafe.

The other patients in the ward stared at the beautiful young ladies argue intensely. What was wrong with the youngsters these days? they thought.

Although, most of them in the ward couldn't understand why they were arguing particularly because they spoke in English.

While those who understood what was going on shook their heads in pity.

Who on earth could bare to leave such a beautiful girl like that in the bathroom?

Kahlan's heart was pounding as she watched Mia punched in her password to find the video. She had a bad premonition.

What if Mia was saying nothing but the truth? What should she do then? She loved and trusted Leo so much and she believed he loved her too.

A tiny voice kept telling her that Leo wasn't interested in her but she has always ignored it claiming her intuition wasn't correct.

Leo loved her! That's what she wanted to believe, she wasn't ready to adjust to another feeling.

Mia shoved the phone in Kahlan's face saying

"Can you see? Are you seeing what you got yourself as a boyfriend? Tch! Just watch how your boyfriend is squeezing and touching everywhere"

Kahlan snatched the phone from Mia out of the blue and watched as her beloved kissed and rubbed the waitress that did this to her, Leaving with her.

Kahlan was losing her strength every second. She played the video again and again before dropping the phone weakly.

"There must be something wrong Mia" Kahlan looked at Mia, her pale face turning even paler. She was trying to force back her tears but it betrayed her. Instead, falling down her cheeks.

Unwillingness was written all over Kahlan's face, rubbing the tears off her face she dragged Mia forcing her to sit on the bed. "Tell me it's not Leo in that video hmmm?

Mia's heart ached for her dear friend. She held her shoulders affectionately looking into her eyes.

"I wish I'm never the one to break this terrible news to you but as it stands you have to know the truth. Leo is not a good person, you have to wake up Kahlan. He's using you" Mia said gloomily

"But why? why would he do this to me...I truly loved him. Why did he make me fall for him. I'm so stupid!" Kahlan said with a pained expression.

Mia couldn't help but break out in tears too, she had only seen Kahlan this pained once and that was when she told her the story about the Cypher family.

Never again had she seen her in so much pain, not even when she had to endure a lot of insults from her bosses and landlord, except for now.

There was an air of melancholy about her and her choked up sobs resounded in her(Mia's) ears compelling her heart to ache even more.
