The Heartless Cypher Family

Back in the mansion, Kahlan sat on the cold floor in her room, it was the beginning of winter, so it was expected to be a disturbing situation sitting on a cold floor. Yet the coldness was nothing compared to the chill she felt in her heart. Her pretty eyes were dry without any sign of tears, coolly staring at the wall. The whole mansion was European styled but her room wasn't that nice but she really appreciated it as long as she was with her family. she was so worried about her grandpa...'what if he dies, what should she do' she couldn't bear to loose anyone else. Suddenly the sound of a car driving into the compound was heard. Kahlan immediately jumped to her feet, running towards the window to check, she saw her family getting down from the car. She immediately ran out of her room with lightening speed... without even realizing she was barefooted, running down the stairs her heart calmed when she saw her father's face. 'this means grandpa is alright right? father looks happy' poor Kahlan, naive and innocent, she grabbed her father's arm. "father, grandpa is alright right? nothing happened to him right" Mr Cypher flinged his arm off from her "why are you touching me... this is all your fault. what right do you have to ask about his condition brat" "I don't have anything to do with that man, it's all Phony's plan" "Are you deaf! stop irritating me...I might just kill you. Go to your room and reflect on your actions, your grandfather is not coming home anytime soon" Kahlan heart clenched, she panicked grabbing her father shirt. "Dad! please what happened to Grandpa!" Her body was shaking and she couldn't control the tears that fell freely from her eyes down to her refined cheeks. Kahlan looked like she was breaking down..."Your grandpa is dead! now get lost" Mr Cypher pushed her away from him. Kahlan fell to the floor mumbling to her self. "no, no, no, it's not possible" she looked like her soul had been sucked away. The scene was heartbreaking but to madam Cypher, it was a pleasant scene. Phony was over the moon, how she wished she could take a video of this scene for keepsake. Elder sister would really love the it. hah! Mr Cypher could not be bothered about Kahlan's emotions, He didn't care at all so he just walked away indifferently. Madam Cypher followed suit, she needed to reward her husband... even though he was stupid at least he did something good today by himself. if he had not provoked the old man, he wouldn't be in coma. He will be here trying to make her life miserable. The living room was left with just Phony and Kahlan.

Phony's eyes flashed with wickedness, she still hated this sl*t's face. This was her chance! She walked to Kahlan and yanked her off the floor rudely and brutishly dragged her to Kahlan's room. Opening the door she slammed Kahlan to the wall...a creepy smile on her face. Kahlan wasn't even bothered about her or how she was treating her, she just wanted to see her grandpa. Seeing this, Phony was annoyed. She should be seeing fear, pain, sadness why was this dumbo blank. Something came to her mind and she relaxed, if you can kill someone mentally first, it wouldn't be too troublesome killing her physically. Her mouth curled up in a sinister and evil smile "Don't you want to know what happened to Grandpa".
