02) Sequence 9 Arbiter

It's been two days since I wrote that letter, I've been told that today I would get my answer.

Thus I was waiting in my current home, the royal vacation farmhouse, which quite faraway from the mess that is Backlund.

At around twelve o clock in, when the sun blazed overhead, a rather tall man who was around 1.87 meters entered the drawing room, i stood up and greeted, he was definitely a Beyonder.

He greeted " Greetings Your highness, I'm Brigadier General Qonas Kilgor Deputy Director of MI9, I'm here to deliver His Majesty's letter and look over your extraordinary path's beginning" he smiled as he said that.

Oh so this is must be the dude who dies and ends up as Klein's marionette, SASUGA FOOL-SAMA!

I reciprocated his smile with a kind and Charming smile of my own, but dude I looked like a kid in front of him, he's only slightly taller as I'm around 180cm but dude he's buff!

He handed me two parcels, and asked me to follow him into a secluded room, when we entered the said room he definitely did something, probably sealing it with his spirituality.

Then he explained "Prince you should first consume the potion, and the read the letter following that, this path should be the most beneficial"

I took the second parcel which was a golden box and opened it, Kilgor explained to me how to brew the potion,

" Main Ingredients:

Terror Demon Worm's blood.

Silver War Bear's single fang.

Supplementary ingredients:

100ml pure water

Yellow Lily Petal powder 10gm"

I brewed the potion which was mostly clear with a slightly golden tint to it, Kilgor checked whether it was alright, as he approved, I took the beaker into my own hands, sat in a meditative position, and drank the potion.

The moment I took it I felt as if my both lives were flashing infront of my own eyes, both as Edessak Augustus and Edessak Johnson, my birth, my schooling, my aspirations, me joining the police force, making friends, losing them, recovering and still remaining the proponent of order and judgement, that i was in both my lives, and then I saw something.... something like mist but it disappeared, but it didn't really matter, for the first time in both my lives I knew who i was, an agent of order, even if pretended to be the agent of justice in my last life, i wasn't really that.

As I took the potion I also began digesting it, probably due to me being a half Beyonder ahead of time and being quite a Arbiter in my current life too. By the time spirituality calmed down, i had consumed arround ¾th of the potion.

As I opened my rather Charismatic eyes, I saw

suprised and amusing on Kilgor's face.

"Prince you're must truly be fated with this pathway" he said as he looked deeply at me.

I smiled and said " Thanks for the compliment Mr.Kilgor"

He smiled and gave me the lean parcel and then took out another golden box from his coat pocket and handed it over too.

"Then I must leave you on your own my prince, Goodbye for now" he said as he left.

After seeing him off, i opened the parcel and found a letter, three books and three charms.

The letter was from my father explaining the current the situation of the Beyonder world, surprisingly explained the 'Acting' method to me, but also warned me not to inform this act to beyonders under Seq 7, which was hypocritical but understandable, as a literal prince becoming a monster in middle of the day would be quite wierd to say the least.

He explained the three books and charms usage, as the pair of brass books were related to laws of the Loen Kingdom and that i would need to understand to both to act sequences and fight as an extraordinary. And the third book was all about basics of Mysticism and ritual magic. Surprisingly enough the three charms were 'EXILE' charms which would exile beyonders below saints to be exiled from the material world.

At last he narrated how his intuition told him that I would digest the Arbiter potion rather easily, and thus he had sent the ingredients for 'Sequence 8: Sheriff' in the second golden box that was now in his possession, and informed him to visit him on 13th of January, which was ten days from now, you can't hide anything from them.

Dude...Parents are scary in every world.
