Chapter 16: Underground Facility

A/n: so apparently someone accused me of using A.I to make stories.. I'd be lying if i said i didn't used A.I... But i only used it to fix some grammatical mistakes and typo, and to lessen the repetetive words.. After all im not a native english speaker..

I hope i don't give you guys headache from how bad my writing is, this time no more A.I.. F*ck chatgpt.. Until you guys had enough of how bad my writing are... And i'm mad because they are completely convinced i used A.I to generate a story.

It was this guy omnikinesis with 10k+ books read and 2000+ hour reading time.. Can't fool the eyes of a pro

My other story, Fiction Forger is also revised by chatgpt. And when i said revise, the same problem i said from above about grammars and sh*t.

My other fanfic, thats just painful taps.

Okay back to the story.. Just tell me if you find any typo or grammatical errors, i will try to make lesser mistakes...

I also have a wattpad account, name Yazhu_yue i have other rimuru fanfic there. None of them except for this and fiction forger (its a original story btw) have a.i revisions.

Think what you must, all i need is one word to stop, let this dc rimuru story die, sorry for the yapping.. F*ck you now im getting less motivated to continue.. Can't blame you gusy for thinking its complete A.I though, because sometimes its Overly Detailed

Clark Kent adjusted his glasses as he walked through the newsroom of the Daily Planet.

Lois Lane, standing by her desk, waved him over.

"Clark, did you double-check the quotes on the mayor's press release?" Lois asked, tapping her notepad impatiently.

"Yeah, I-" Clark paused.mid-sentence, his head tilting slightly.

Suddenly his super-hearing caught the sound of an explosion from somewhere, followed by panicked cries for help.

Noticing clark's pausingbfor a moment, Lois raised an eyebrow. "Clark?"

"Uh, sorry, Lois! I just remembered I left something at home-important-I'll be back!" He hastily fumbled for an excuse, grabbing his coat as he made his way out, running outside the daily planet.

"Seriously? In the middle of work?" Lois called after him, shaking her hrad.

Clark disappeared into a nearby alley, his office clothes exchanged in a blur of motion for the iconic red and blue suit of Superman.

He then flew to the skies, homing in on the source of the chaos.

Arriving at the scene of the destroyed mall.

Smoke rises from the collapsed sections, and civilians gathered outside, visibly shaken but unharmed.

Superman slowly landed in the rubble, scanning for injured individuals.

A bystander pointed to him. "Superman!"

The people felt safe, he assured them that everything is alright.

Superman's eyes scanned the surrounding.

His attention shifted to the horizon, where a flat and smooth aircraft is flying away at high speed.

His vision locked onto the fleeing aircraft.

Superman frowned. "Not so fast."

He rocketed into the air, heading toward the aircraft.

Inside the aircraft, alarm blared as the radar detected a fast approaching object.

"The hell!?" one of the pilots shouted, looking at the screen.

Another cursed. "It's Superman! He's lockrd onto us!"

Panic set in as they scrambled to gather their equipment.

Grabbing a bag and collecting the critical items, they activated a high-tech stealth cloak on their suits, designed to evade detection by blending in the colors of the environmemt like a chameleon.

"Dump the plane. We can't let him catch us!" one said, setting the aircraft to autopilot, steering it towards the city as it turns around.

With that, the pair leaped from the aircraft, vanishing into the sky as the plane began going straight down toward Metropolis.

"Sh*t i forgot to set the bomb!!"

"Idiot!"

Superman flew towards the aircraft just as it started to crash.

He scanned the cockpit with his X-ray vision, finding it empty.

He quickly went inside the control room only to find it locked into autopilot.

"Great," he muttered, annoyed.

With no time to fix the controls, Superman pushed the aircraft from below, lifting it away from the city.

Placing the aircraft in an isolated port near the water, where it landed with a heavy thud.

He crashed the engines to make it stop moving any further.

Looking inside, there were a lot of items like high tech gears and exotic rare plants, vials of something and a briefcase with a virus logo in it.

He went out and goes out, looking around ensuring the area was secure and empty, he fled back towards the mall.

When he came, cops already is surrounding the area as they look for evidence, and ambulance's collecting the injured.

Superman walked to the rubble straight to the entrance of the mall, scanning the wreckage of the mall with his X-ray vision, inspecting the mall for clues, especially on the destroyed sections.

Near the wreckage, a group of Metropolis police officers and bomb squad worked diligently.

Superman walks towards them, approaching one of them, a young officer who was visibly eager to meet the hero.

"Anything yet?" Superman asked.

The young officer smiled, stars on his eye, struggling to contain his excitement. "No solid leads, sir, but it's such an honor to-"

When he reached out his hand and before he cpuld fisnish, it was brushed aside by hisbsuperior, a stern-looking captain, shoved him aside.

"Superman, we've just started looking for evidences. We'll handle it from here," the captain said sharply.

Superman frowned but remained polite. "I understand, Captain, but I think it's important I take a closer look now that i-"

"That won't be necessary" the captain interrupted, his tone firm. "Your job is done here. Let us do ours."

He pushed on, trying to make reason the he really needed to check if theres something dangerous. And now that he was here, he's making sure the area is safe.

Suddenly their conversation is turning..

The strange hostility made Superman pause for a moment.

"I'm not trying to undermine your investigation, Captain. But considering the destruction caused, and the fact that I'm already here-"

"I said it's done!!" the captain snapped, screamed at superman, stepping closer.

Superman narrowed his eyes. Something felt... off.

He then uses his X-ray vision to search the captain.

What he found made him gasp-a shard of kryptonite, tucked inside the captain's sleeve.

The captain noticed Superman's sudden focus and instinctively reached for his sleeve.

Before he could pull out the shard, Superman grabbed his wrist, gently hard. "Care to explain this, Captain?" he asked, his voice low but filled with authority.

The kryptonite shard fell from the captain's hand, clinking against the ground.

Before the captain could speak, he screamed out a desperate order. "Shoot him! Shoot Superman!"

The officers hesitated, confused. "Captain, what are you talking about?"

Noticing the obvious glowing green stone.

"What the-?" one of the other officers muttered, stepping back in shock.

The young officer from earlier stared wide-eyed. "Is that... kryptonite?"

The situation quickly unraveled when the officers saw the kryptonite shard.

The officers turned their weapons on the captain instead.

"Sir, you're under arrest," one officer said, stepping forward and placing handcuffs on him.

The captain thrashed, screaming in desperation and anger. "You idiots! You don't understand what's at stake!"

Superman stand silently as the officers take's the captain away.

Once the chaos settled, he turned back to the destroyed mall.

Using his X-ray vision again, he looked and scanned deeper inside the mall, now searching for the reason this mall had been targeted.

His vision picked up something unusual-a tunnel hidden behind a collapsed wall.

He moved towards it, breaking through the debris with ease, revealing the concealed entrance.

Superman's gaze sharpened.

Without hesitation, he stepped inside, following the entrance.

Just a few steps later, he reached an elevator, still active with low dim lights.

The panel beside it listed only a number of floors, all labeled with cryptic numbers and letters.

Superman pressed the first button, and the elevator began going down.

The ride was a long 20 seconds, only the grmbling of machine was heard and his breathing.

When the doors finally opened, inside revealed a big underground facility, illuminated by flat ceiling lights.

He pressed his earpiece, contacting Batman.

"Batman," Superman said, his voice steady, "I've found something that you might want to see"
