That's It?

Number 1 studied Number 2's naughty smirk as her fingers tapped on her phone. A few minutes later, she looked up to find herself being stared at. "What is it? Is there something on my face? Could I have left some fake cosmetic skin on my face?"

Thinking of such possibility, she immediately opened her camera app and angled in every direction to make sure her face was clean. "Huh? There's nothing. Then why are you staring at me? Could I be so attractive that you fell for me? Hmm? Come on, tell granny. Granny will not laugh at you! Hahaha"

Number 1 cleared his throat and looked away after hearing her words. "Who would like you? I was curious about what you typed to the landlord lady. How did you know she saw Antonio before? Knowing you, you won't easily let Antonio off the hook for hurting Lia's feelings. We both watched that office clip. Even I wanted to rush up and toss him in the garbage truck."

"Hahahaha, well, I only kindly reminded the landlord lady that she gave Lia a discount when she first moved in since Lia helped her out in the past. However, this man is a new tenant, so he should not be receiving the same treatment as Lia. Also, I told her that he was a scumbag." Number 2 snickered, mentioning the conversation she had over text with the landlord lady.

"So.... You're making him pay for the rent at a higher price with no discounts? Was that all you did?" Number 1 couldn't help but question her. Although her mouth said one thing, her expression screams something else.

Fisting both hands, she wiggled sideways multiple times as if she wanted to squeal like a fangirl seeing her idol for the first time. "Of course, he won't be able to get away with anything this easily. He is bound to find some truths out in that apartment - a heart shattering truth that even my cold stone heart cracked and is still leaking blood out. How much pain will he suffer from? I wish I could see his face when he finds out what he missed."

Number 2 shook her head, revealing a sorrowful smile. It was rare to see her like this. Following her gaze, Number 1 looked down the hallway to Lia's old apartment. Then, his eyes landed on Number 2 once again as if he was trying to comprehend what had happened when she was helping Lia pack her luggage.

Inside the apartment, Antonio pressed his palms on the soft blankets on the bed. Compared to the warmth he felt last time, the coldness from these blankets reminded him that Lia was gone. He regretted. Ever since that time, that night, he had wanted to have a good talk with her. However, every time something happened, he would react negatively towards her. Never had he ever listened to her nor asked her how she was doing.

His eyes closed for a while before opening again. His conflicted emotions were nearly suppressed, but the sight of an opened diary shoved his effort to a bottomless pit. Without thinking much, he reached out to hold the book in his hands. Before he even realized it, he started reading her diary.

Antonio fought with Master Liam today. He wanted freedom, but Master Liam obviously refused his request. After Antonio left the headquarters, Master Liam came to find me and offered me a deal. I didn't have anyone to worry about, so even if these missions failed, nobody will probably notice I was gone. I agreed to perform the missions in his place. In return, he will get the freedom he wanted. At first, I didn't know whether I made the right choice or not, but then I saw the smile on his face when I told him he was free....That smile was all I need. I hope he will always be this happy.

Today, Antonio came to look for me at the headquarters. I was actually recovering from an injury, but luckily, he didn't realize I was hurt. I actually didn't do that great today in front of him. I almost couldn't hold back my emotions. Today...he told me he met a girl he liked, and then there was me. I almost bit my tongue when I urged him on, and even listened to him tell me his plans on wooing the girl. I know, between him and me; it was probably near impossible. How can I keep a smile while listening to him talk about another girl? I have no idea how I did it. But...it really hurts. Really hurts.

Today is Antonio's mother's death anniversary. I knew how much his mother meant to him. Back then, I used to accompany him to sleep when we were still kids because he would have nightmares. Now that we've grown up, he doesn't need me by his side like before. Or maybe..he already found a replacement to help him sleep better.

Auntie, I hope you've been well. Don't worry, I kept my promise to you. I've always been and always will look after him for until I can't anymore. As long as I am still here, I will try my best to keep him from harm. Even though I made this promise to you, I actually have a selfish reason to do this as well. I don't plan on telling him this secret unless he figures it out himself though. So, for now, auntie, please watch over us.. In the meantime, allow me to share this secret with you. I fell in love with him since long ago. Yes, auntie, I love your son. But he loves someone else.
