Let The Pregnant Lady Leave!

Issac nodded understandingly. If he had a second chance, he wouldn't say those words. Therefore, he didn't blame or feel upset when Alfred retreated to the side. He gave Jason a pleading look, hoping he could help separate Selina from Kyla.

"Selina, this is between Kyla and Isaac. How about we step aside and let them have a nice conversation?" Jason knew how complicated the situation would become if more people joined the situation, so he decided to try helping his buddy. Despite the situation being Isaac's fault, he still wished they would resolve the issue.

Normally, Selina would be sensible and probably avoid getting involved in other people's relationship problems. However, this time was different. Instead of complying with his request, Selina frowned and shook her head.

"No, why should I step aside when he was the one who left Kyla in the living room? Who is it to blame but the one who said he wasn't willing to coax his fiancee anymore? If you said that to me, do you think I would want to see you either? Also, can't you all see we are trying to get out of here? If you try blocking me, then have fun sleeping on the couch for the next endless months!" Selina looked away from Jason after presenting her stand.

Raising both hands in the air, Jason surrendered with invisible white flags. This was the first time he was threatened by Selina with such an intense gaze. Right away, he decided to retreat and join Alfred's corner.

Bryan, on the other hand, thought he could persuade Celinda out of this mess. For one, they both came back from vacation, so they had a great time together. Second of all, they were newly engaged, so she shouldn't be too difficult to coax.

Unluckily, for Bryan, his plan also failed because Celinda was too concentrated on her lower abdomen that she didn't realize he was talking to her. Yi Wei was too tired of holding everyone's bags. Hence, she interrupted their conversation and spread her arms out - not like her gesture would make the situation any clearer.

"Okay! All sirs in this room. Can y'all just move your asses over to the empty side of the room and let the ladies get the hell out of this villa?! Leave your nuts and lightbulbs for later. We have more important things to do, and it cannot be delayed. One of them is to dump these damn heavy dumbbell weighing bags to the back of the damn car before we head to the hospital!" Yi Wei screamed out her frustration, without realizing she has given their objective out.

"Hospital? For what?" Hearing the deadly word coming from her mouth, the guys eyed their wives and fiancees from head to toe to make sure they didn't appear ill or injured.

"For pregnancy test results of course!!! What else?! Oop-" Yi Wei spouted an instant response, which made Celinda and Kyla elbow Selina. Apparently, both did not wish their pregnancy news to be announced just yet. Meanwhile, Yi Wei's mouth froze when she realized what she's done. now, the girls could only find a way to get rid of the guys.

Smiling awkwardly, Jessica could only make eye contact and nod towards Selina since she was the only one who could most possibly be pregnant. "Y..Yes...Selina might be pregnant, so we are rushing to the hospital. This is more urgent than anything else! So, everyone step away from the pregnant lady!!! Let us bring her for an examination! Let the pregnant lady leave! Geez!"

"Hah..Yea...I am possibly pregnant with a baby in my stomach! Will all of you quit blocking my path? I don't even know if I am pregnant or not and you're all disturbing me. Will you give me a break?" Selina held her stomach and rubbed it clockwise a few times to make her actions seem more convincing.

"W..Wait! Are you saying I'll be a father? But you-" Jason recalled Selina's menstrual cycle for this month had just been over. The possibility of her being pregnant is low..

At the same time, Bryan and Alfred also looked at each other and exchanged a meaningful gaze. All three of them seemed to have discovered something but chose not to speak up about it. The reason was obvious - they were afraid of their other half.

Since the girls were hiding something from them, the guys decided to tag along to see why they were heading to the hospital. Playing along with the girl's act, the guys paved a way for them to get out of the residence. Jason and Bryan held Isaac's shoulders, preventing him from running after Kyla for now.

Carefully observing the girl's actions, the guys waited for them to drive away before following them from behind. Jason hopped into the driver's seat while the others took the empty seats in isaac's vehicle. Jason unlocked his phone, and tracked Selina's GPS sharing location.

"Let's see what they are up to," Jason said, driving out of his driveway.

On the way to the hospital, the girls contacted the hospital with a doctor who could schedule them for an immediate appointment. While mentioning Kyla and Celinda's name, the doctor confirmed Kyla's information twice. The doctor's voice sounded awkward, raising Selina's awareness.

"Doctor, is there something wrong with the information we gave you? You sound a bit conflicted." Selina frowned when she heard the hesitance in the doctor's response.

"You see, Mrs. Hui, it's not that we don't want to accept her as a patient, but her name is on our blacklist. According to one of the main investors to our hospital, we are not allowed to take Ms. Kyla as our patient or we would suffer a major loss." The doctor explained, stuttering in the process because it was not a professional response.

"Who is the investor?" Jessica's voice echoed coldly.

"Forget it. No need to ask them anymore. The person who put my name under the blacklist is your mother, Jess. No need to make it hard on the doctor who is just receiving orders from the old hag." Kyla caressed her lower abdomen gently with a faint smile on her face.
