Birthtday Cake

All those faces staring at her were beaming. They were all smiling at her knowingly. Even Brian...

"What's going on Liam?" Rhea turned and asked the man holding the knife. 

"They wanted to surprise you," Liam pointed to the newbie group with his chin. "They wanted to celebrate your birthday, but you weren't here," he smiled widely and knowingly. 

Of course, she was there in Harbin with the person standing there away with his hands in his pockets like he had nothing to do with the rest of the world. She was spending her birthday and the days followed with him.

Rhea raised her eyebrows she was really surprised that they all kept waiting for her to celebrate her birthday and somehow found a day where they would gather together and celebrate it. So she smiled at them. 

"Okay, so here we go," said Liam as he opened the cover of the box revealing a huge white-coloured cake with three layers.
