Chapter 56 You won't be disappointed.

That same day in the evening Liara Xirna summoned her children to discuss the future plans for the empire.

-I made a decision to become allies with the humans and if Admiral Simon Black really intends to marry Alesia then it would be a great opportunity.

The empress said.

-Mother ,he needs to defeat Irio and we all know that it won't be easy.

Eren said.

-Actually brother, if they fought right now then I'm sure that the human would win without a problem.

I watched him train and he is really a monster,with or without his armor or weapons.

Darun said.

-So what Alesia said was all true?

Inia asked.

-I think she never even realized how much humans can achieve when they are in a larger group,in the end she only saw two of them and they didn't understand the technology yet.

Now they build starships so fast that it's scary and they are using a peacetime economy.

Just thinking what would happen if they switch to the wartime economy is terrifying.

The prince said.

-Do you think that they will join the Federation?

Liara asked her son.

-I seriously doubt that,from what i heard the humans don't trust the federation and i overheard that there is proof of the Urakari destroying a whole species that was supposedly under the protection of the federation and didn't face any repercussions.

Darun explained.

-You want to say that the federation just stood by and watched a whole species be destroyed?

Inia asked.

-I haven't seen the proof myself but i think that we can ask the humans for the proof if there is any.

This would also shut up the ministers that want us to join the federation,I think that even they wouldn't want to join them if their guarantees are worth nothing.

-That's a good idea,we will ask that human that will be visiting us soon if this is true.

The empress said.

This would really put a stop to any talks about the empire joining the federation.

-On the subject of the Terran Council,will there be any problems with them?

Liara asked.

-I don't think so,there were easy to convince of the benefits of the trade agreements and also happy to sign a nonaggression pact.

However the alliance with them might be more difficult as they sent me some necessary documentation and most of it makes sense but there is something called a Geneva convention that contains their rules of war and if you break these rules then they can engage in something called a total war.

That alone tells me that they had war aplenty before they reached for the stars and it's probably why they didn't destroy themselves till now.

The first prince said.

-Sent me the documents they have given you and I will decide if it's something that we can abide by or not.

The empress said and he immediately sent her the documentation.

-This is all that They sent me and I think that their demands and laws are quite reasonable.

He said.

-I will study this later for now you could tell me more about humanity.

Liara said.

-There is not much more to say that i haven't already said.

The only thing that comes to mind is that they are responsible for ending the piracy in their sector of space.

I think we could do the same but it would cost us quite a bit.

On the other hand we would have a peaceful sector just like the Terrans.

Darun said.

-This is something to consider in the future,but I like the idea of getting rid of the pirates.

The empress said.

-Also we found out that our biologies are compatible in most areas so we can look forward to some culinary innovations in the future,and believe me humans love their food.

He knew from experience when he got invited into a banquet on the Terran station.

There was a feast worthy of his mother palace and the humans even included small scanners to inform the guests if the food was compatible with them.

What's more, the Chairman said that it was a relatively small banquet.

His comment shocked the prince to the core,if this was just a small banquet then what would a big one look like?

-I'm looking forward to it,as our own culinary inventions are becoming fewer and further between in the last few years.

Inia said,she was not only a martial arts freak but also a glutton.

-You won't be disappointed sister,I even had an opportunity to try some of their military rations and you wouldn't believe how well their soldiers are fed out in the field.

He said.

A week later Alesia returned from her assignment and as soon as she could she tracked down her brother to ask him about earth and what's more important Simon.

She was over the moon when he told her that the human would be visiting soon.

Her brother told her everything and she was shocked that Simon and Mikael were both admirals now,even more shocking was the information that Simon accepted the challenge of Irio.

As a human he didn't have to do that,but she was happy that he also loved her and was willing to fight for her.

Irio on the other hand would most likely end up dead in that duel and she would shed no tears for him as he was pestering her and wouldn't take no for an answer.

In her eyes,the sooner Simon teaches him a lesson the better.

When they were younger she tolerated Irio as her brother's friend but she never thought of him as a partner.

-I can't wait to see what kind of ship they built to escape the junk planet.

She said excitedly.

-Then you would have to go to earth as all three of their ships are museums now, because they were not built with the best materials and they had to retire them.

The first prince said.

-That's a shame,I always thought that he would use that ship to come for me.

She was a little disappointed.

-Don't worry, the ship he is bringing is a dreadnought so you have something to wait for.

Also since he is an Admiral now then he might bring a small fleet with him and believe me when I say that their ships are impressive.

The First prince said.

He didn't know just how right he was about Simon bringing the fleet but it wasn't small.
