Chapter 101 Slaves.

This time Simon also spared the imperial palace as he wanted Liara to watch her planet burn and her subjects die.

This was a cruel thing to do but nobody cared especially when they remembered what happened to earth.

The bombardment lasted for twelve hours and when it was all over the Elani home world was burning just like earth over a century ago.

The same fate awaited all the planets in the Elani empire and it was their job to make sure to eradicate the Elani or at least diminish their numbers enough that there would be no hope for them to rise again.

-Five hundred ships stay here and deal with anyone that shows up except the species on the white list.

Simon ordered and took the rest of the fleet to destroy the empire's colonies.

The white list contained the names of the species that were the Terran council allies and never forgot the humans even when they thought that they were extinct.

One such species were the Zendari who to this day refused to trade with the Elani and any other species from the former alliance and even refused them entry to their territory.

If by any chance they showed up then they were to be greeted as friends and get the situation explained to them.

The destruction of the empire took a little over three weeks but the final result was almost the entirety of the Elani dead and what little did remain,were too small in numbers to ever rebuild their race.

The Elani were done for,the only problem was that till now they only managed to kill the empress and some of the branch families of the imperial family as the rest managed to escape or were outside of their empire at the time.

-It doesn't matter for now as we should find them with time and most of them are probably in Federation space.

Simon said when he received the report.

-Well they don't have the fleet and even if they wanted to retaliate they don't know where our territory is,so they don't pose a threat to us.

Athena agreed with her husband.

-Now it's time to take out the third objective and if everything goes well then the alliance will be destroyed once and for all.

The admiral said with a hint of satisfaction in his voice.

-The reports coming from the rest of the fleets indicate that the enemy is starting to suspect something as they have increased their readiness level and keep most of their fleets close to their homeworld and most important colonies.

Athena informed him.

-This is perfect, we won't have to chase them all over the place and I bet that they are still oblivious of our stealth technology.

Simon said after some thought.

The situation was developing in their favor and if they managed to take out the Alliance species then they would have to take on the federation itself soon after.

There was no problem with that since they had plans for any scenario,even the most absurd one was cowered as they had more than a century to plan the destruction of their enemies.

They also planned to extract any humans and lizard-men that were left on the junk planets or were kept as slaves by their enemies.

This task was carried out by special forces teams and they managed to find hundreds of people working on the planet sized junkyards and thousands that were enslaved and forced into hard labor or pleasure industrie.

The soldiers usually took the easy way with the people on the junk planet and tranquilized the humans that they found and brought them back to their ship where they woke them up and explained the situation after they removed the chips from them.

The labor camps were a bit more tricky,but usually eliminating the guards after hacking the surveillance got them some good will with the slaves and they didn't just take their own and left the rest to rot,they took them all no matter their species as the camps were not something that they would send their worst enemies into.

The most difficult targets were connected to the pleasure industry as they were located in highly populated areas and had connections with the Federation's criminal underworld.

This however didn't change a thing as teams simply waited for slaves to be sent back to their cages before they went in and killed anyone that stood between them and their targets.

They interrogated one of the pimps that they captured and thanks to that they knew that the slaves had been implanted with small explosive devices so that they could not run away.

The team medics found and extracted the device from all the slaves before they were able to move the slaves to safety.

The same as the camps they also took everyone that wanted to go with them and most of the slaves were thankful for the rescue as they were kept there for decades and in some cases for over a century.

The human slaves were rejuvenated every decade or so to keep them at their peak and since humanity was thought to be extinct,they were always in high demand by the clients.

The slaves from the camps were also rejuvenated as humans were good workers,the slaves did all they could to not have children as they knew that they would become slaves at birth.

Frome some of the slaves they heard that there were some humans held by the federation upper classes as maids and butlers.

Since there weren't many humans left after the destruction of earth and its colonies.

The upper classes wanted human servants to brag about as it was not a cheap thing to buy a trained human butler or a maid. 

Some of the women saved from the brothels were maids that tried to escape but were caught.

This complicated things for the rescue teams as the main reason to get all the humans was to prevent the federation from using them as meat shields when they attacked.

The Confederation knew that it would be impossible to save them all but they had to at least try and thanks to their efforts many humans found out that they still had some family left.

All the admirals knew about this operation and they all agreed to send a ship every time the special forces teams were fully loaded with the rescued slaves.

So far,Simon had to send five ships to get the slaves and send them to the confederation's space.

This was a drop in the ocean of his forces so he didn't mind,the ones that did mind were the gangs and slaves that made a living off the slaves.

They tried to find the culprits and even laid many traps with slaves as bait but all they got in return was another slave lost and many of their own slaughtered.

This led to chaos as the gangs started to blame each other and it wasn't long before the gang wars started.

The chaos this created was exactly what the teams needed to free the humans held as maids and butlers.

Almost all of the higher classes had something to do with the underworld in one way or another so when they were targeted and their slaves went missing,everyone assumed that it was the gangs doing.

No one even thought that it might be the humans that were the culprits,as they all were sure that humanity was extinct and the only ones left were the slaves.
