Master Taylor kissed Julie

Two maids were assisting the gardener in shearing the flowers and they, including the gardener saw what had transpired between this two in the car.

It took them no time to start a gossip. One of the maids started, "That is Master Damien's fiancée, I heard that during the dinner party, Master Damien had announced that she is his fiancée".

The other maid then replied, "I guess he's in love again".

"Maybe, but it seems like this innocent and beautiful lady isn't who he think she is", the maid who had started the conversation replied.

"It's obvious that she wants to kill two birds with one stone, how can she also be luring Master Taylor?" the other maid said.

"Susan, it's obvious Master Taylor likes her can't you see the way he kissed her affectionately?", the maid who started this conversation supposed.

"It seems more like they're having an affair", Susan guessed.

"I thought Aunt Maggie's plan was to make me the wife of Damien, so what now?, what's all this?, she isn't even keeping to her words anymore and has obviously lost interest in the plan. Damien on the other hand is playing so hard to get, who does he think he is?, there are many other rich guys craving to be with me but I turned them down, but he's doing otherwise, this is just too low for me, I am a daughter of one of the richest man, so why waste my time here? If not for the fact, that dad had insisted this, I wouldn't have considered this, i really need to clear my head. If Julie is allowed to go out, why shouldn't I anyways", Diane murmured to herself while looking at herself on the mirror.

It took her about thirty minutes to get out of her room. She was walking towards her car, when she heard two maids chatting about an incident that had occured earlier.

She wasn't paying attention but could hear them blabbing about something, what caught her attention was when she heard one say "Master Taylor shouldn't have kissed Master Damien's fiancée".

Immediately she heard this, she turned to them and then called them while demonstrating with her hand. "Hey you all, you three, come here".

The maids and the gardener became scared. They walked up to Diane while shaking. Diane started, "What did you say earlier?".

Susan replied while shaking, "Mmeee?".

Diane scolded, "I'm referring to the three of you not just you, silly thing!".

"What were you saying about Taylor?", Diane tried to sound calm as she spoke.

The gardener answered, "Ma'am we were only shearing the flowers, senorita".

"Are you saying I'm deaf?, if you don't tell me what you were saying, you will be telling it to Aunt Maggie", Diane threatened them with her hands folded as she looked into their eyes.

The maid who brought up the topic in the first place, had no other choice but to spill the bean, which she immediately did "Ma'am we were talking about Master Taylor".

"Of course I heard, what were you saying about him and Master Damien's fiancée?", she interrogated her, while walking closer to the petite maid who was answering her.

"Sorry ma, please forgive us", Susan pleaded and then continued, "We were talking about what we saw Master Taylor do".

"And what did he do?".

"We saw him kissing Master Damien's fiancée ", she spoke while her head was bowed down.

Diane was a bit shocked and excited at the same time, she didn't realize that she was smiling until the gardener said, "Madam, I wasn't conversing with them".

Diane ignored the gardener and said to Susan, who she seemed more interested in listening to.

She moved closer to her, held her chin and lifted it up, then she said to her, "Are you lying to me?".

"N_n_no ma'am", her voice was shaking while she spoke.

"Now get back to work!!", Diane instructed them.

Immediately, they scudded away to do their duties while Diane still stood there in deep thoughts.

"Few minutes ago, I thought my day wouldn't get any better", Diane smirked as she said to herself.

"Now I have something juicy to tell the whole family, Damien will regret ever chosing her over me", after saying this she laughed for some seconds before she said to herself, "I'm so lucky today, I didn't have to do anything to get what I want this time, I can't wait to tell this to Aunt Maggie".

She was so happy that she changed her mind and decided to return into the house.

The maids and gardener noticed this, this made them feel more guilty because they thought they had gotten themselves in trouble.

Julie was cleaning her makeup when what had happened flashed back to her memory.

She stopped cleaning and said to herself while looking into the mirror, "What did Taylor think he was gonna do?, what part of I am his cousin's fiancée doesn't he understands?" after saying this, she continued cleaning her face with the face wipes she held.

After a couple of seconds, the same scene of Taylor taking her hand and kissing it flashed to her memory, she paused as she remembered the scene vividly.

Few minutes later, she then said to herself while looking in the mirror.

"It's obvious he's being catching feelings or he's just tryna play me, I think I've been going too close to him and I have to stop, this will be a big hindrance if I don't start avoiding him".

She kept the wiper and looked in the mirror again, while she saying encouraging words to herself, this time.

"Julie, you ain't here to catch feelings or the other way around, you're here for work and you've gone too far to quit, this deal is a huge sum of money and you can't miss it for the world".

That wasn't all, she also read some motivational quote from her phone to herself, until she was satisfied and had forgotten the scene that had kept flashing.

The mansion was very quiet unlike the day of the dinner party when the whole family was present, after that day, most of the family members including distant relatives had left.

It was dinner time, everyone in the mansion except Damien and Julie had gone down to have dinner.

Julie was seated on the sofa watching Damien work on his PC. She didn't find this interesting, it was written all over her face, the look she gave him was the kind, one would give someone, he or she was about to kill.

Damien didn't notice her and didn't care to notice, he was aware that a maid had come to announce to them that dinner was ready.

Julie couldn't stand the suspense when her stomach began to growl, uncontrollably. She could swear that Damien had heard it, but chose to show no concern.

She couldn't take it anymore and spoke boldly, "Mister, I know you're very busy, but It doesn't mean you would let me skip dinner, if that's how you play with your meals, then don't get me involve in this childish game".

She didn't wait for him to say a thing, she stood up and left the room, making sure she slammed the door hard, behind her.
