It has been a year since Aline was caught, in that time many women have come and gone, some having a clear fate and others fate unknown.

Either luckily or unluckily depends on the way you look at things Silvi and Aline are still there together thus their bond has become stronger than ever.

So much so that Silvi is the only one on whom Aline can rely upon, after all, she is the only face that has stayed with her.

The guards didn't stop beating her but after a certain point, the only thing she felt was numbness and nothing more.

But since she has stayed silent without causing any trouble for six months they have increased her food portion which Aline ate silently.

After all, she needs it to escape, the energy it will bring. Her body has become more frail than ever, so much so that she almost looks like a walking mummy.

She is a fast-growing girl, has stopped growing and her once cute face is barely recognizable due to all the dust and dirt.

Her hair has taken a darker shade and due to not having bathed for months, she has started to smell like the prison she stays in.

"Sister, is it true that they do a party once a year?"

Aline asked as she leaned her body on Silvi's body, after all this news was like a gods blessing for her.

She had the key to the cell she was staying at, she also had mapped out an escape root in her mind and now only needed a chance to escape.

"Yes, since I came two months earlier than you I was able to witness it."

Silvi said in a weak voice as she let out a tired sigh.

"Hmm, let's escape then."

Aline said as she supported her body, although her mana had been sealed and she had become so physically weak, her once-possessing body allowed her to show physical strength unfit for someone in her condition.

"Do you still plan on escaping?"

Silvi asked in a weak voice as she looked at Aline, hearing her question Aline nodded her head, her eyes still filled with burning flames of determination.

"You know there is a chance that the people of the church are already dead or have already forgotten you. So even while having this chance do you still wish to escape."

"Yes, because I trust them, just like I trust you, Sister."

"Is that so....."

After which Silvi closed her eyes and leaned against the wall getting lost in deep thought.

"Then I will come with you."

Silvi finally said after thinking for a while, her eyes also showed a certain determination.

"But it can be dange..."

"So, what? Do you think I will sit back and do nothing while a kid like you does such a dangerous task?"

Slivi said in a harder voice as she looked at Aline, hearing her voice and seeing the looks on her face she wasn't able to say anything and just nodded her head.

So with their talks finished they just had to wait for the party to come.

Days started to pass, they noticed that the flow of people started to increase as crates upon crates of boxes were brought in.

All the guards were smiling and laughing, and a certain disgusting festive mood started to surround the entire prison.

The guards started to show more depraved behavior as new faces came and went every day, and finally, after a week or so, the day of the party arrived.

After locking the prison door all the guards left, and laughter could be heard from a distance as the strong scent of beer started to flow in the air.

Aline and Silvi stayed silent not sleeping even though night had arrived, they waited for their opportunity.

And in the dead of night, it finally came, the laughter and cheers in the distance stopped.. they had fallen asleep.

Looking at each other's faces and nodding their head both of them silently stood up, walking toward the prison gate using the key stolen by Aline they open it.

As they exit the prison room they lock it back up so that even if someone is awake they won't be found out in the instant.

"Follow me, Sister."

Aline says as she takes the lead, although it is underground it is quite a size, walking in a certain direction they arrive near a bathroom.

This was the one used by the one keeping them captive and sometimes they are also allowed to use this.

"Here??"

"Yes, in my tenth escape attempt, I heard that there was an escape root here while hiding."

"I see.. so did you find it?"

Aline nodded and with that their conversation ended as they entered the bathroom, walking toward a certain wall Aline knocked on it three times.

After which she stopped for a minute before knocking one more time, with that the wall glowed for a while and disappeared.

"Why didn't you escape through this last time?"

"They were already guarding it and some had even entered it."

"hmm"

So with that done and a smile on her face Aline walked into the hidden passage with Silvi following behind her.

Seeing a staircase in front of them, they climbed it as they could see a glow of light in the distance.

As they hastened their steps they finally got out and what greeted them was an empty alleyway. The moonlight helped them see somewhat as they took deep breaths.

After all, compared to that stuffy and horrible-smelling prison the air in the alleyway was quite refreshing.

"We-e fina-ally escaped."

Aline cried out as tears fell from her eyes, after finally realizing her goals the amount of happiness she felt was unfathomable.

"Yes..."

Silvi gave a response without any joy in her voice, confused by it Aline turned around and saw a look of scorn on Silvi's face as if mocking her.

"Sister?"

As Aline tried to question footsteps were heard in all directions as they started to get surrounded and the one leading them was the snaked eyes man.

"Hehehe, what do we have here."

Skt laughed as he looked at the horror-ridden face of Aline, seeing her smile and happiness crumble gave more pleasure to Skt than anything else.

"It's all my fault, Sister didn't do anything."

Aline quickly composed herself and stepped forward trying to protect Silvi.

"Ohhoho, did you hear that boys her sister didn't do anything."

"HAHAHAHAH"

After his voice laughter erupted from everywhere almost defining Aline.

"What do you have to say about that Silvi."

Skt asked as he looked at Silvi who started to walk toward him, as she got there she took his side and she looked at Aline with a mocking face.

"I told you not to try to escape."

Silvi said as she showed a venomous smile, a smile that broke Aline's heart.

"No-no it can'.."

Aline tried to deny the situation as she fell to her knees, at this time she cursed her own intelligence as it helped her understand what was happening in an instant.

"Aren't you quite intelligent Aline, so you should already understand the situation."

And with Silvi's words, Aline lost consciousness as her body fell to the ground, after all the shock of what happened here was too much for her to handle.
