A different point of view

-GREAT HALL DINNER-

Me and the rest of the Professers where at the Professors table in the great hall waiting for out plan for the mysterious thing.

Our trap was a faculty member we Transfigured into a student he wouldn't bein that much harm.

Surprisingly our trap was triggered on the first day I was happy to get some revenge but I kept my calm.

We slowly approached where the ghosts where we stood under them a ghost came down and said it seems like it's not that intelligent based on its movements, it's more like a wild animal."

He returned to his position then a ghost suddenly went limp and the ghosts has shocked expressions on there face.

I could tell what happened the thing killed the ghost but it was unholy how fast it happened if he was just in a non-battling stance roughly 2 seconds ago.

He had to have covered atleast 4 meters in 1.5 seconds no ghost was that fast and this dangerous he killed a ghost.

We must capture it it doesn't matter I shouted "start firing the Astral chains NOW!"

The professors followed my lead but based on the ghost getting hurt we didn't land a hit.

Snape fired one at a ghost he assumed the thing would attack his prediction was right and he latch on and started pulling I used this to my advantage.

I saw where the chain was and I fired there It latched on I started pulling.

I could feel the strength of it and us too pulling probably didn't even phase it.

Then a ghost screamed "There's another one" I froze for a moment And then said " Two professors go over there and try and pin it" Professor sprout and Professor flitwick ran towards the area after they got in the general area.

Then they were sent flying by some brute force. Snape could clearly see that they needed help and our physical strength way weaker then the thing.

I couldn't blame him but then my chain snapped and the thing headed for the other one.

These things were obviously strong and intelligent the tricked us into thinking they had the intelligence of a squirrel. They had planned for our plan I had too many questions and too little answers.

Snape was being fended off I could tell because he started to cough up blood they could've killed him but did Snape in a last ditch effort sent a chain towards the things last known location and he got one.

Sanpe said "this one is stronger then the other one atleast in physical strength" Snape was then dragged and he said " it's being dragged by somthing probably the other one is trying to save it"

His chain broke and he threw another one where it was and he said "there gone where did they go" one of the few ghost left was Nearly headless nich and he said " the one with zippers was the one you got it some how ripped a hole in The ground and it closed it and they escaped"

Snape was attended by Madam Pomfrey who ran in the professer entrance and she had multiple assistants carry multiple stretchers they then proceeded to pick up multiple Professors.

It was sad loss I was pissed that we didn't get revenge for the fallen they had esacped somehow.

There was banging at the door it was probably the students and it was I unlocked the door and said " please eat in your rooms"
