Chapter 8: More Incriminating the Second

~Eis POV (7 years old) ~

Yikes, I knew that Jacques was a piece of shit but…

Oh, who am I kidding I always knew that, but I guess the version I'm in is different from the original world of RWBY anyway.

Even when I noticed that Whitley was already born ahead of Weiss was a dead giveaway to tell me that I'm not in the original Root world of RWBY but an alternate one that is parallel to another but with its own differences.

Still though as much as the evidence provided from this is good to ask the people in authority would question him it's still not enough considering he does have political power and might pull some strings to get out of trouble.

So, I followed what Winter told me to do and search around the place to see if there were any more pieces of evidence around here somewhere.

With that, I decided to check around the desks to see if there was anything hidden inside the desk checking for anything that would be relevant to Jacques.

When I was checking around Winter was looking through the books in our scum bag office to see if he left anything vital inside in secret still though if I was an asshole who has influence where exactly could I hide my belongings?

When I started looking at the room, I turn myself around to see the portrait of Jacques and the other two beside it and wonder would he be that big-headed to have his secrets behind the portraits…

Well, let's see if there is anything behind the portraits with that I summon my Stand The World to remove the portraits to see that it was just wood well there goes that plan of seeing that there was a secret here.

Then Winter saw me moving the portraits and says to me, "Trust me Eis I already checked what was behind the portraits already I couldn't find much on what was on the other side but –"

But that was when I and Winter didn't expect what my The World does next… "MUDA!"

Boom!

That when my Stand made a noticeable hole in the wall behind the portrait then I looked in shock to see when my stand punched the wall it revealed an iron wall behind the wooden wall that caught our attention.

When we both saw that behind the iron wall Winter looks at the wall with clear shock in her eyes but then says to me with clear surprise, "Eis did your Manifestation just showed us that there was more shown here but how?"

Yeah, I agree with you their big sis but then I decided to ask my Stand The World how he knew, "The World how did you know that there was more behind the portrait than meets the eye?"

The World points towards what appears to be a normal wall till… "Wait a minute… is that a keyhole there?"

When I checked a lot closer, I realized that there was a keyhole in the wall there was no way for a normal person… too…

I turn my head towards The World giving me a smug look as I forgot that The World is the same type of Stand as Star Platinum then… 'Holy crap… then that means that The World has enhanced eyesight!'

Damn…

I guess I forgot that even if a normal human would miss the very small keyhole but to a Stand like The World it would make sense that it would notice something like this, and I wouldn't.

When I and Winter looked at what was behind the wall behind Jacques it revealed another small room that held different kinds of documents, Lien, and… "Hey Winter is that a scroll flash drive? What is one doing here or rather different kinds doing here behind father's portrait with the metal wall?"

Yeah there were like a lot of flash drives all around the small room that was in some of them were labeled as dates and others for what I assume as a business but it looks like I won't get to know what they contain since Winter managed to get them all.

When she got them all she looks towards me while getting the portraits into their original positions then she asks me, "Now Eis can you do me a big favor and keep this all a secret for the time being and no matter what don't tell father ok? Also, don't worry about the damages just let handle it ok."

I could only nod my head for the time being as much as I want to expose Jacques myself but as a kid would anyone believe a 7-year-old if they found out a lot of crimes that his father has especially if he has a lot of influence no one would listen to a kid till it was too late.

But I guess I'll trust Winter with this for now since I can't be known just yet and as far as everyone knows they would question me on how I suspect my father except for Winter considering I saw the picture of Adam…

But just in case something does go wrong I had to ask, "Ok big sis, but can I keep a few of them just in case something happens we don't know what father would do once he realizes that something this important is missing."

Winter looks hesitant but then she glares at me with a serious tone in her voice, "Tell me Eis… why do you want to hold on to this would you return these back to father?"

Now that was a low blow comparing a real trash bag to someone like me but I return my glare at Winter that was an insult for something I can't stand for!

When I return my reply to Winter, I also gave a cold glare at her to which she was surprised that I could make that expression, "Winter… I know that you can trust me on this but returning them to father? Now that was an insult to our grandpa you know?"

With that my expression slowly changed into a determined one while proudly smiling, "Mother told me his tale when he was young and brave and honest I want to become someone like that in the future but first I want to fight against something like criminal harming our family so please trust me that I'm on your side this is only just in case something goes wrong."

When I finished saying my sentence a mission pop up again but I ignored it and look after it later when I have the chance.

~Winter POV (14 years old) ~

When I heard the words from my little brother, I almost didn't believe that the person in front of me could be a kid with that kind of mentality but then again, I do underestimate Eis a lot of times because he is still a kid.

But sometimes he does show at times I'm speaking to an adult right?

Truly ridiculous idea that my little brother is some else but when I tried to test his resolve his and his bond to father, I have to say I must be surprised to see that Eis would use the term criminal to describe father.

Good.

That just means that Eis knows what is right from wrong I noticed how father would try to convince him time to time to his side with Whitley but always lies to him every time he tries to convince him with the promise of bonding with him.

Eis truly is wise above his age group it's like he already knew that father is a bad person before he met him truly odd but a good thing since father has been getting the family company to… questionable business partners.

Eis truly is a rebel at times I heard times that father would get extremely angry whenever a new car of his would get destroyed by a chunk of ice from what I heard from Klein…

Huh…

I guess now I know who was giving him a bad day whenever a chunk of ice would destroy his car, father would not be pleased if I don't get the chance to confront him.

But I was brought back into the real world to see Eis is waiting for my answer I just smiled gently at him and gave him some of the flash drives into his hand, "Very well Eis, just make sure to keep them safe and make sure to keep it safe."

Eis nodded his head and quickly says to me with a smile, "Ok big sis Winter, but please be careful to not let the bad father get you ok."

With that I nodded my head and he immediately went away to his room, I hope.

Still now I got what I came here for I bet father would try his best to get these important evidences but for now though I should get back to my room before I get more unexpected visitors.

Before I left however, I saw that there was an official document paper stating that I will be removed as an heir to Schnee family company signed by my father…

Tch.

I may no longer hold the heir of the company but nor will Jacques for much longer I hope Ironwood can help on this because out of everyone I know he seems to be the best bet I have to take down Jacques.

Well at the very least I know the family company will be in safe hands with Weiss or Eis leading it at the very least.
