-POV: Narrator-

In the bustling city of Cairo, Naoto could be seen navigating his way through a crowded area.

He had in an all black outfit, with a large black cloth over his head and upper body.

He only has this to keep the sand out of his hair. Currently, Naoto was going to see his escort.

It was an Egyptian woman who was to meet him at the base of the pyramid of Giza.

As Naoto made his way to the pyramid, he took in the sights along the way.

After some time, he finally made it to the pyramid. He seen his escort standing while tapping her foot.

"You're late!" Said the woman.

Her accent in English was like music to his ears. She was beautiful? With long curly hair.

"Sorry, the city is beautiful, so I was taking my time." Said Naoto as he took off his scarf.

"Tch, it's fine. Just make sure it doesn't happen again. But anyway, my name is Aya. I'm a Grade 1 Sorceress." Said Aya.

"I'm Naoto, it's nice to meet you." Said Naoto as he shook Aya's hand.

"Well, we'll have to wait a few days. Set only attacks during a storm, and the next storm is in 3 days." Said Aya.

"So what are we gonna do for the time being?" Asked Naoto.

"I will show you the real beauty of Egypt." Said Aya with a smirk.

Naoto smiled and went on with Aya's game. He liked her a bit, she reminded him of Maki.

As he was following her, he couldn't help was wonder, what type of sword she's wielding is. He felt a powerful surge of cursed energy, coming off of the blade.

"What's this blade you're carrying?" Asked Naoto.

"It's the sword of Ra, it's a family heirloom. Passed down from generation to generation. The last wielder was my father." Said Aya with a faint smile.

"It seems like he's no longer here with us, and from the way you're smiling, he's must've been a great dad." Said Naoto.

"Yeah, he was the best. He would take me on his missions when I was little, and show me how to use the sword. He would always say, he wanted the both of us to hunt together." Said Aya.

"But that's went Set appeared, and took everything away from me." Said Aya as she grew angry,

"It seems like you have history with this curse. If you don't wanna talk about it, then you don't have to." Said Naoto.

Aya just nodded and led Naoto to a restaurant. They got seated and began to talk about their lives.

"So this one time, my brother, Naoya, tried to assert his dominance over me as the older brother. He tried talking one of my training swords, and then blame my cousins, Maki and Mai." Said Naoto as he eat his food.

(A/n: They are speaking English btw.)

"What did you do next? Because the way you talk about your brother, makes it seem like he's an asshole." Said Aya.

"He's the biggest asshole you'll ever meet. He'll probably try to hit on you, but he'll most likely think you're weak because you're a woman. He's a loser to be honest." Said Naoto.

"Hahaha, so what was it like growing up with a prominent family?" Asked Aya.

"It's not what it's cracked up to be. Yeah I may be treated like a prince, but that just because of fear, not respect. The Zen'in name is one that is feared, and never respected. Same with the other clans." Said Naoto.

"So your teacher is worthy of respect? He's the strongest sorcerer ever, so do you not respect him?" Asked Aya.

"Satoru is more like a big brother to me, I do respect him, but sometimes he tries to push people away. He feels like there is no one that understands him. When I'am here, I understand the solitude of being strong." Said Naoto.

"I was always strong since I was a child. At the age of ten, I was competing, and even beating experienced sorcerers. And then the situation that happened last year." Said Naoto with a distant expression.

Aya seen Naoto's expression, and straightened her posture. She didn't want to push him to tell, so she left it alone.

-Next Day-

Naoto and Aya woke up early. They both bought hotel rooms, and slept through the night.

Aya wanted to eat breakfast, so Naoto just followed her. They ate a healthy breakfast, which Naoto enjoyed.

Aya has some missions she had to complete before Set comes. So she took Naoto with her, to show him how they kill curses.

She took Naoto to the Nile river. It was a sacred river, so there were bound to be some curses there. Thousands of people die each year around this river, so the negative emotions formed a formidable cursed spirit.

Aya took a giant claymore from her back, and wielded it like a master swordsman. Aya had told him that, the sword was a family heirloom.

The sword was called [Ra's Talon]. It was said the it was forged from the talons or the sun god Ra.

It's a special grade cursed tool, with the ability to manipulate solar energy. The sword was something the was priceless.

Aya stared down a curse, and was ready to strike. It was one of the most common curses that always reformed.

It was a jackle, jackles were the common curses that always appeared. They could come alone, or in large groups.

They were weak, so a single grade one sorcerer could take down a large group.

"Watch and learn foreigner, this is how we kill curses." Said Aya, as she leaped into a group of Jackles and Mummies.

Aya raged like a war god, as she chopped through the horde of curses. Naoto watch with a smile as he pointed his finger, and shot lightning at the curses she missed.

Aya noticed this and smiled, but her pride couldn't let her thank Naoto.

-Hour later-

Both Aya, and Naoto were watching the sun set at be top of the biggest pyramid.

"The battle tomorrow will be a fierce one. I hope you can defeat this enemy." Said Aya.

"It will give you a show. The sand versus lightning. It will be a spectacle." Said Naoto.

-Next Day-

-Before the Storm-

Naoto and Aya were standing on top of a sand dune. They watched the huge sand storm travel towards them.

"Are you ready?" Asked Naoto.

"Yes, just don't disappoint me." Said Aya.

"Mhm." Said Naoto as he teleported above the storm.

He looked down at the storm and seen a clearing in the middle. Naoto began to descend, and when he made it inside the eye. There was a being waiting.

"So you're the almighty Set? You look like a child." Said Naoto.

{You dare mock me in my domain? You insignificant creature. You humans have forgotten the might of the gods. I will show you powers you cannot comprehend, boy.}

Set waved his hand and thousands of sand spikes formed all around Naoto. Naoto didn't budge as he seen it coming.

{Die Vermin!}

Set pointed towards Naoto, and the sand spikes pierced his body. Set looked and seen clumps of flesh hollowed out.

{You're so weak, you can't even entertain me.}

Set was about to move on, and then he heard something impossible.

"Awww, the little doggy is throwing a tantrum. Do you want a bone?" Said Naoto as he punched Set off of his sand cloud.

BOOOOOM!

The punch was so hard, that it sounded like the clap of thunder. Set skipped across the sand, like a rock over a river.

Set stopped himself from going any farther, by making a sand wave, and cushioning his body.

{You dare! You inferior creature. I will rip your flesh from your bones, and drink the marrow from them, you will never see victory.}

Set summoned his staff, and twirled it around, making multiple tornadoes. He then thrusted his staff towards Naoto, but Naoto seen the future, and dodged.

Naoto looked behind him, and seen a large hole in the sand storm. Naoto whistled and turned towards Set.

"It seems like you have a deadly cursed tool. You wouldn't mind if I borrowed that would you?" Said Naoto as he appeared behind Set, and punched him in the back.

While doing this, Naoto placed a magnetic pole on Set. He gave Set the south, while he coated both of his fist with north and south.

Set grew more angry and sent a huge wave of sand towards Naoto, Naoto just short threw it with a shot of lightning.

Set didn't let up and finally used his technique.

[Sand Ritual: Million Sand Spear Killing]

Millions of sand spears rained down on Naoto, but were quickly wiped out. Naoto had used his Heat Manipulation to heat on the sand, Turing it into glass.

Set knew that something was up. His opponent was looking down on him. He couldn't have that so he decided to use his trump card.

[Sand Ritual: 1000 army sand golem]

An army of huge golem's appeared. Back in ancient times, before set became a vengeful spirit. His battles with Horus were known far and wide.

And one of his most used techniques was his sand golem. Naoto looked at the golems and smiled, while lightning circulated around him.

His entire body turned blue, and his hair stood up.

[Technique Amplification: Lightning Battle Fiend]

Instantly, Naoto ripped off a large amount of the golems heads. While Naoto was busy fighting the golems, Set decided he was gonna end it.

He raised his arms into the air, and summoned huge walls of sand. Naoto seen this and smiled. He then started chanting.

[Shimmering Stars]

[Supernova]

[Dragons Breath]

[Black Hole]

[Rage of Zeus]

[Light of The Morningstar]

[Technique Amplification: Death Storm]

Black lightning started to clash with the sand walls. Tornados started to form and sweep up the sand golems.

Naoto undid his transformation and sat back to watch. He was feeling good, so he decided to end it quickly.

Set was furious, so he decided to use his very last resort.

[Domain Expansion: Deaths Embrace]

Set erected his domain, trapping Naoto within it. Naoto looked up and sighed. Maybe he was going too easy on this curse.

He was getting bored, he wanted to go home, and laze around. He thought 'maybe I'll have to speed this trip up.'

So he decided, it's time to put an end to this.

[Shimmering Stars]

[Supernova]

[Dragons Breath]

[Technique Amplification: Railgun]

Naoto pointed his fingers at Set, and a giants blast of Lightning left his fingers. Set was too slow to move, so he was instantly vaporized.

The sand storm started to disappear, and Naoto walked towards Aya. She waited with a look of relief.

"So, now that, that's out of the way. Do you wanna get something to eat?" Asked Naoto.

"Haha, sure, but you're paying." Said Aya as she walked away.

"It seems all women see me as a bank. This must be how rich people feel." Said Naoto as he walked.

He looked at the staff that was in his hand it smiled, he found another gift.

Sup guys, this chapter is LOOOOOOOONG overdue. It's funny because i finished it last week and forgot to upload it. The only reason i remembered was because I was looking at my ff on my account.
