' Is this what you meant by you needed help with planning your summit' she asked as they lay side by side. She was drawing invisible lines on his broad chest while he held her close and tight.

' was it not better than planning a summit' he asked.

She laughed and blushed, she was not going to anwer that. She did not expect her first time to be with a vampire. This was crazy she thought.

' why did you ask me about that guy' she asked abruptly.

' wanted to be sure you were not taken'

' i am not an object that can be taken'

' you're not, but you're mine '

' i don't think so'

He looked at her as if he had not heard her clearly.

He suddenly kissed her. She kissed him back , slowly and gently. He parted her legs with one hand, as he reached for her throbbing wet core. He used his fingers to slide in and out of her making her moan out loud and driving an inexplicable wave of pleasure through her. She threw her head back on the pillow as excitement coursed through her. He flipped her over and brought her to her knees, he slammed in to her from behind, with fast hard compelling thrusts. Jayda found she was oddly satisfied with the painful pleasure, perhaps she should annoy him more and get this kind of reward.

' are you mine now' he asked as he collapsed on top of her.

' you will have to earn that' she gasped.

He let out an annoyed savage growl as he flipped her over again and made her lie on her back. He slammed in to her harder and faster while she moaned out loudly and did not want him to stop.

When they had both reached their climax and he fell on top of her exhausted

' i like it when you get mad ' she said.

' be careful what you wish for' he replied.

She looked at him daringly.

' are you mine now '

' i'm thinking about it ' she said biting her lower lip. And before he could grab her again, she got up and ran out of the bed covering herself with the bedsheet. He threw his head back and laughed at her silliness. She was laughing too.

' let's go grab dinner' she said.

Cade on the other hand had been keeping a low profile since he attacked Adrian. He could not go back to them because he was outnumbered and a hybrid was involved, he did not stand a chance against her. If he goes back to inform his father and his pack, there would be a manhunt for her like in the past. Something was definitely wrong, he knew she was not safe with Adrian. Why did he take her out, walk her home and pretend that he did not know him. Why did he not fight back when he attacked him ? She was the hybrid and she did not even attack him. What was he missing? He could not pin point it but he was going to find. Adrian would not be nice to her if there was no reason behind it. He did not trust the vampire clan, they were too ruthless. He despised xavier as much as he despised Adrian and his brother. He decided that he would keep a close eye on them and find out. Or perhaps they had formed an alliance and were working together against the wolf clan. That was not totally out of the option, but knowing Xavier, he could never bear the thought of having someone more powerful than him in his kingdom. And worst of all, someone more powerful than him whose parents he killed. He was going to try and monitor them discreetly and know what they were up to.

They walked out hand in hand in the moonlight. They strolled to a diner nearby for dinner. He sensed that they were being followed. He had seen someone duck immediately he turned his back.

He stayed close to the window to keep an eye on whoever was watching them. When they made their exit he was quick to catch a glance of Rexy's scarred face as he hid out of sight. He asked jayda to wait while he goes to check something at the corner. He started walking towards Rexy who knew then that he had been seen. Jayda watched him walk down the street and turn the corner.

Adrian quickly caught him by the collar as he flung and pinned him to the wall.

' what do you think you are doing ' he snarled viciously.

' i did not see or hear from you for days now'

' i told you to lay low and leave it to me didn't i '

' its been two days. All you need to do is rip her heart out or cut her head off' he laughed wolfishly.

In that moment Adrian wanted nothing more than to rip his tongue out and smash his brains out on the wall. He controlled himself.

' but here you are taking her to dinner ' rexy continued.

Adrian moved his hand to chest, and he slowly let his nails get longer and dig in to Rexy's chest.

' you listen buddy, you are going to lay low and leave this to me. I am trying to get on her good side and lure her out, and then we finish the job and leave this place. She might not look it but she is as quick and vicious, and will not hesitate to rip me apart if she as much as got a whiff of what i plan to do. So don't ruin all my efforts and go sit in a corner'

rexy quickly nodded ' yes boss'.

Adrian freed him and he fell forward gasping in pain. Adrian turned and left him ignoring the on lookers staring at him. He started smiling when he saw Jayda. He took her hand in his.

' what was it' she asked.

' i just thought i saw someone and i went to check it out '

'so did you see anyone'

' no i didn't, or maybe i might have scared them off '

' ok '

' can we just take a look around, i am quite intrigued by this place' he said.

' sure, let's go' she smiled at him. They walked off together hand in hand.

Cade from his vantage point watched all that had happened taking mental notes and planning his next line of action.
