Ring ring ring... Jasmine's phone rang from the other end of the room, she was woken by the call, she sleepily stretched her hand in search of the phone, finally got it and picked up without checking out the caller.

Hello..... Hi, Good morning ... Jasmine greeted, the caller asked how're you Jaz? where are you? Why ain't you in class this morning? I'm fine and you?... I'm still on bed as I didn't sleep so early last night, replied Jaz, Mr Bankole pulled up an emergency quiz to mark attendance, I hastily called you, better not miss this quiz as he said it's very important, let me call others, see you soon,on hearing about the quiz, she checked time on her phone and flung up fastly, cussed and screamed silently OMG, this Mr Bankole is incredible, jeez...

How did I oversleep? Alot of thoughts and unanswerable questions were going on in her head, muttering some inaudible words to herself, while dressing up to meet up with the quiz as she couldn't have a bath , she rushed down to the class, fortunately, emergency quiz test was just commencing, she tore out a blank paper and joined in immediately.

While the test was ongoing, Mr Bankole announced his reason for the impromptu quiz test, which was mainly cause his class was scanty, he could barely see that the students present weren't upto 20, so in a bid to punish the absentees, he came up with his quiz test decision.

Before the end of the quiz, the class got a little filled up, on noticing the turn up of students who weren't around before the quiz, Mr Bankole locked the lecture room door and gave them 5 more mins, which after the given time, he asked everyone to pens up and submit. After the test, he taught them a new topic briefly then left the class with the papers.

Due to the rush and the quiz, She really didn't check who her guardian angel caller was , so after lectures, she took a peep at her phone but noticed the caller wasn't a saved contact, she said, who could this be?...

She dialled the caller to know who it was and also tender her appreciation, but the call was unanswered, she called two more times still no answer, she stopped calling and expected the caller to return her missed calls... Unknown to her that her caller was Jay, she scrolled to her instagram app to keep entertain her eyes with flawless pictures and funny videos from her Instagram friends and celebrities, while at it, a familiar female voice from behind said, Jaz my love, how are you?...

She looked up and it was Matilda, she never expected to see her but was really happy to see her, they both hugged almost falling themselves out of joy, lol... It's been a while oh...said Tilda, yes oh, this school and stress are like bread and butter replied Jasmine, they last saw after Matilda's dad's burial, Matilda has been having a really tough time, shuffling work and school the same time.

While gisting, Tilda sat on the desk facing Jaz, they talked about alot of things, while it seems there wouldn't be any lectures soon, Jasmine told tilda how she rushed to school without taking her bath, no wonder the smell I've been perceiving since I sat here, Tilda jokingly said, see your head, why didn't you notice the smell before I told you that I haven't showered, they burst out a loud laugh that attracted some other students in the lecture room stirring at them. Let me go home and shower, my body itches, and also eat... Didn't I say something was smelling with a funny smirk on her face, while they strolled, hope you cooked cause I'm garnished, glad I saw you, Tilda said to Jaz, you're lucky I cooked last night, if not,I wouldn't even enter kitchen cause of you oh, stop whining, I know you will surely enter it or you will be left with no option than to buy me a sumptuous food from KFC, you na big woman nah, hahahahaha, they laughed, big dreamer, Jaz called Tilda.....

Matilda opened up to Jasmine of the hardship she has been encountering since her dad's demise, while narrating her ordeal, tears ran down her cheeks, I had to add another work to the cleaning job I was doing, Now I barely have time for herself. Jasmine was shocked and surprised hearing her ordeals and was angry why she didn't confide in her to see how she can help, Jaz told her they are like sisters now, I really don't want to bother you or anybody with my burdens, Tilda said, that's not an excuse, you should have told me, even when I do call and during our chats, you never thought to mention your worries and struggles to me, what if you slump and fall sick out if stress, queried Jaz?...

I will see what I can do to support you as my sister and as my own widow's mite, Jaz said while dabbing her teary face, stop crying, we are walking on the road, it will draw unnecessary attention to us please, I promise to ease you off some stress, I will talk to my dad, I'm sure he will do something about it, Jasmine is from a wealthy home, though over pampered, but very brilliant and humble.

They both arrived Jaz's lodge, they warmed the food, dished out, electricity providers smiled on them and restored the light, they turn on the television to see a movie, they were eating and gisting, after their meal, Jaz rushed to shower while Tilda was busy with the movie, shortly after Jaz went to shower, Tilda dozed off, Jaz came out and decided not to wake her as she needed the nap before going for her evening work, she joined her in the nap. After few hours, she woke up showered and was seen off by Jaz...

Matilda got another job at a fuel station as a pump attendant, which her shifts runs from 5pm to 10pm most times 11pm.

Her cleaning job runs a day on, a day off in a week, so she thought to take up the fuel station job to make ends meet. She still tries to meet up with her school works and assignments. She sends some money home to support her mom and siblings....
