Chapter # 26

While Kai was yelling, Adam had already grabbed Hana's hand and pulled her on her feet. She was still looking deeply at Adam when suddenly she remembered something and blushed furiously. She muttered to herself, "W-What have I-I done!". Then from behind James called Adam and he went to him.

Adam said, "Looks like you took the note seriously". James said, "So you were the person who sent the note, but why didn't you tell me directly?". Adam said with a plain expression, "The note system was more fun and heart racing".

Then James said, "Adam, I don't think...". But then Adam interrupted him and said, "Yeah, this wasn't done by my colleagues. They don't have the nerve to do something so dangerous and they would have never thought of using an anti-magic barrier".

Then James asked, "So, do you know who is responsible for this?". Adam said, "Unfortunately no, I was just barely able to find and destroy the artifact that was creating the barrier". Then suddenly they noticed Kai coming towards them furiously

and Hana was behind him.

James said, "Do you know them, Adam?". Adam said, "Personally, no. They are Kai and Hana. 2 siblings from White Wave". James thought, "This information is enough to know them. Seriously, how does he get this information? That girl, Adam just saved her a moment ago. So, his brother must be coming to thank him. But why does he look so furious?"

Kai came and stood in front of Adam and yelled, "Do you know what you have done just now!!!". Adam was about to say something when Kai yelled, "YOU HAVE RUINED MY SISTER'S LIFE!". Then suddenly Adam remembered something and his eyes opened in shock.

He looked down on the floor and a shadow covered his eyes. He replied in a gentle tone, "I'm sorry...". Kai interrupted him and said, "DOES YOUR SORRY CAN UNDONE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!". Adam was silent and James was about to say something but Kai's anger was off the charts and he slapped on Adam's face really hard.

James said furiously, "Hey! What is the matter with you!". But Adam told James to stay silent. Hana was also trying to say something but didn't have the courage to do so. James was really confused. Why was Kai so angry, why Adam had such a guilty expression on his face. Adam had just saved his sister's life and he should be thankful,

but why was he so angry.

Kai said, "FIRST, YOU BLACK BLAZE MEMBERS DECIDED TO RISK OUR LIVES, AND WHEN EVERYONE WAS SAVED YOU DECIDED THAT LETS JUST RUIN A POOR GIRL'S

LIFE!!!". Then suddenly, the teachers arrived and this conversation was dropped.

Kai furiously grabbed Hana's hand and went back to their group. James noticed that

Hana had tears in her eyes. Then suddenly Adam moved front and explained the

situation to the teachers, excluding the conversation with Kai. His expression was like

that nothing had happened.

After a moment when Mr. Thalius came while resting in between 10 times. The teachers

discussed something with each other and the headmaster. Then suddenly Mr. Thalius

spoke up, "This was a very unfortunate event but thankfully, no students were harmed.

This is obviously the result of the quick wittedness of the students and thus a reward is

required. In addition to no classes today, what else should be given to you all?". Adam

said, "Headmaster, May I propose something?".

Mr. Thalius nodded in the affirmative and Adam said, "This event has told us all the risk

of magical beasts and how to react in unfavorable conditions, which were the exact

goals of practical classes. Thus, I request that all the students shall be given a pass in

practical class and access to the mythical forest".

Mr. Thalius said, "So, does every student agree with this idea? Any objections?". There were no objections and Mr. Thalius after thinking for a while said, "Okay done. But on one condition. Everybody should enter in a group containing 3 or more members. And I recommend that the members should be of differed houses. And no sneaking in the forest alone".

Mr. Thalius was especially looking at James and Adam. Then after that they all went to their dorms and rested. James's mind was still on the conversation between Adam and Kai. Thus, he decided to go to visit Kai.

It was now afternoon and the students were having lunch at the main hall when suddenly Kai stood up from his table and approached the table of Black Blaze. He stood near Adam and then suddenly bowed in front of him and said in a loud voice, "I'm sorry!"
