Chap 28: Reunited
(A/N: Hey guys quick note, I kinda messed up in my calculation of the timeline and for my plan to work I would need WW1 to last an extra year, ww2 will still take place in the same year and all that but ww1 would last an extra year and I already know that historically so many things have been changed but who really cares this isn't any kind of fanfic that people are paying to see done, it's nothing more than a kid writing when he wants, so with that, I hope you enjoy the chapter)
*zzzttt* "John he's escaped, sound the alarm!!" the radio on John's belt activates with a scared voice coming over the speaker *zzzttt* "What are you waiting for, SOUND the alarm ALREADY!!" The voice comes over the radio again this time with anger intertwined with fear, *zzzttt "JOHN, HELLO JOHN, CRAP HE'S GOTTEN JOHN, QUICK BARRICADE" THe man over the radio realizes John's death showing a bit of sympathy but quickly going back to his militaristic ways getting the others to quickly get into action. Arthur watches the monitors seeing how the soldiers move, but the soldiers also realize that he sees them so they shoot down all the cameras they see causing the monitors to go static. Once all the monitors are static Arthur takes his leave calmly walking out the door leaving blood splatter and headless bodies for the Janitor to clean.
Outside of the prison, numerous cars have formed a blockade at the entrance to trap whatever demon laid inside, the soldiers who were getting armed start to back out slowly from the prison as everyone remains on high alert, "Sir I think I have a way to retain the man inside" A young woman says to the old and smoking man, "Mrs. Carter as much I love your ideas there's nothing that can stop him except a missile or lots and lots of guns" the man retorts showing a smile as starts walking back to a large truck, "No no sir trust me it'll work, you know the super soldier project worked well right sir?" Mrs. Carter asks to which the man says.
"Mrs. Carter I'm an American citizen with two lovely daughters who go watch the man in blue dance all day, I don't think someone without any training is able to stand up to the slaughterer," the man says emphasizing the last part, Mrs. Carter takes in a deep breath before saying "Captain America isn't the one going to catch the slaughterer it's the Beast that'll be doing that" The man stops turning around with his attention on everything Carter said, "We just struck a deal with Devion sir and he should be able to reach here before things get worse," She says as the screams of the soldiers who stayed behind to delay the Slaughterer echo.
"What if he betrays us" The man says solemnly to which Carter quickly responds with "Then Captain America and whole lotta guns will be ready to help" The man looks at Carter's determination before sighing "This better work".
The prison has been silent except for the sound of the blades or the helicopter rotating over it, The Grump man who seemed to be the leader of this operation continuously yells into a phone as his subordinates look on in fear, "That Beast says he'll be here, but it'll take him a while" The man grits his teeth as he says
"With all due respect General, I should head in there and end it" A man with a blue uniform and a shield with a star behind his back stands up looking at the prison with fury, the General looks at the man silently but before he can say anything " Not possible steve, you aren't allowed to fight unless it's a last resort" Peggy Carter stands up shaking her head at Steve, Steve Angrily yells "WHAT OTHER CHOICE DO WE HAVE" storming out of the tent walking defiantly towards the prison Peggy runs after him and before he's able to enter into the gates of the prison a hand stops him, "Hold on there CAP you wouldn't wanna crap your perfectly good tights right" A voice mockingly says
"Hey now, before you go commando on me let me introduce myself, I am Devion Bloodstar, or like you people like to call me the Beast" Devion introduces himself to Captain America who instantly tackles him and starts punching Devion, everyone rushes to get the Enraged Steve off Devion who just talks seemingly to no one as Captain America beats him "YO did you know about what happened to Requiem," Devion asks no one "Man those Japanese really messed up, how about we go there next" Captain America is finally pulled off Devion who quickly kicks up, dusting himself off "Alright EMO BOI Captain America is here waiting for your presence, stop playing hide and seek and come out" Devion for the first time he was here talks seriously, after saying that someone rushes out of the gates.
The figure appears in front of Devion a shard of glass against his neck, "Don't call me emo" a raspy voice comes out the figure who retracts the glass shard, Devion just smiles at his brother before turning around to start heading back, "Where do you think you're going" Captain America stands in Devion's way as he equips his shield, "Stand down soldier I'm not an enemy of the state, I literally just helped you guys" Devion stresses his words showing annoyance.
"He's right stand down steve" The general goes towards Captain America placing his hand on his shoulder, Captain America eases his shield, returning it to his side, "Beautiful shield I must say", "It's meant to protect people from people like you," Captain America says clearly still pissed off 'yeah well the creator is the biggest menace to society' Devion thinks, "Well if that's all Adios" Devion starts leaving with Arthur in tow "Where are you going?" the general asks but instead of stopping Devion keeps leaving only saying "I need to see some Anime" a cold voice comes out of Devion as his eyes glow crimson.
