Abrupt departure

New Moon City...

Located in the central eastern part of the Blue Wind Kingdom; more than ten times larger than Floating Cloud City. Plenty of small sects and clans were established throughout this city. The Blue Wind Imperial Family had also set up an Blue Wind Profound Palace's Branch here along with Xiao Sect and Burning Heaven Clan that also had branch sects.

At this moment, an inconspicuous raven haired youth seemed to be walking towards the main entrance of the New Moon Profound Palace. As he reached the entrance of the palace, his steps halted for a moment ; his eyes that seemed to be black until now turned blood red for an instant as he seemed to contemplate upon something before reverting it to the usual state of black.

Itachi was here to meet Sikong Han, who was the Head Elder of the New Moon Profound Palace.

At the main entrance, Itachi was stopped by a gatekeeper.

The young gatekeeper held out his arm in front of Itachi and blocking him: "Non-disciples of the Palace are not allowed to enter. Usually, a Palace disciple can bring one person inside, but not today. This evening is the congratulatory feast for the new Palace Chief's appointment; the Elders are currently busy with many affairs, and it's inconvenient to meet guests. If you have any business, come back tomorrow"

Itachi took out the wooden tablet that Xiao Lie had given him: "I wonder if this wooden tablet could possibly let me enter and see Elder Sikong right now?"

Itachi had hoped to see Xia Yuanba at the entrance, or atleast, inside the palace. It would have made it easier for him to be introduced to Sikong Han. However, his actions seemed to have somehow either delayed Yuanba's trip here or Yuanba just wasn't in the vicinity at the moment since Itachi couldn't sense him anywhere close to the palace.

As soon as he reached the entrance, Itachi knocked on Sikong Han's hall.

A few moments later, the door suddenly opened, and a man that looked to be forty something years old, who wore a dark colored robe, walked out.

Itachi politely spoke: "Elder Sikong, this is Junior Yun Che. I have come from Floating Cloud City in the east. I wonder if Elder Sikong is still able to recall an old friend from Floating Cloud City named Xiao Lie?"

"Xiao Lie? You said Xiao Lie?"

Hearing this name, Sikong Han abruptly walked over and said excitedly: "Oh! he has gone to another city right now."

Itachi shook his head already knowing that Xiao Lie had probably arrived here after his departure: "I know. I'm here to find you in accordance to his wish."

After finished speaking, Itachi took out the Seven Profound Tablet, and brought it in front of Sikong Han's eyes.

"Hello, I am Lan Xueruo. I haven't seem you before. Are you perhaps a newly recruited disciple?" Lan Xueruo or otherwise known as Cang Yue smiled and greeted Itachi. Her face was full of a loving and welcoming smile. However, on the inside, she was trying to keep her excitement in check. She had almost gave up on searching for a talent in this city and now she had found this person in front of her.

Itachi replied with a polite expression: "Greetings. I am Yun Che. And, Yes I have just entered the Profound Department."

Cang Yue had already known that. With her status, it had been easy enough to look into Itachi's records of admission. With a gentle smile she responded: "You seem so young, yet you're already at the fifth level of the True Profound Realm. No wonder Elder Sikong snatched you into Class One."

My purpose in joining this palace was to simply be eligible to apply for qualifiers for the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament. Although, I didn't think I would find you here. I have seen you before in the capital. The only reason why a princess could be here at this time and in this place would be to recruit talents for the upcoming tournament. I just wish to join the main palace without all the hassle. Of course, when the time comes I will participate in the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament."

Itachi repeated himself with a slightly amused tone of voice: "I meant that the reason for me picking the weakest sect out of all is: you."

As if she finally understood something 'obvious', Cang Yue'e face turned a bit red; her pale skin gained a bit more colour. However, she was still a princess who was used to receiving such attention. She recovered after a few moments, before replying with an awkward voice: "I s-see. Are you perhaps another one of my admirers? "

Itachi could sense that Cang Yue didn't want Itachi to turn out as another Feng Jaiochun. Still, he replied: "I do admire your capability. As for the kind of admiration you are asking for. No, not at the the moment at least."

Hearing Itachi's direct response made Cang Yue feel a little bit offended. In fact, she felt more than offended. Still, she maintained her elegant smile and replied: "I see. Well, forgive me, these questions seem irrelevant. Anyways, I am willing to make the arrangements as per your proposal."

Itachi stood up and said: "Thank you, your highness. Then, I will directly meet with you at the capital one month before the ranking tournament."

At this time, a youth casually walked up to the entrance of Heavenly Sword Villa. His face along with his aura appeared completely average yet his eyes seemed to contain an inexplicable might.

"This is a Secret Realm?" Jasmine murmured in an astonished voice. Although, she had not deliberately tried to look into the spatial channels along that field outside since she didn't have much reason to. Still, it astonished her immensely that Itachi's eyes could even use space techniques. She had been the first to notice the difference in the pattern in Itachi's Sharingan after he had assimilated the Dragon God's soul. However, she had never imagined that seemingly mutation would result in such a useful ability. Just what kind of divine eyes was the Sharingan. She had never heard of anything like that. Each of the various abilities of these eyes that she had seen so far had been more astonishing than the last.

Sensing the world outside with her perception, Jasmine continued after a moment of thought: "The existence of this little world is really strange. For any normal cultivator, he would at least need to have Sovereign Profound Realm or above profound energy reserves to lock onto and then forcibly open and enter a normal secret realm. As such, Itachi calmed his mind before reaching out with his left hand and touched the blossoming Emperor Awakening Heart Lotus. A green light flashed in his palms; then, the entire Emperor Awakening Heart Lotus disappeared into the Sky Poison Pearl.

Once he had plucked the lotus, Itachi immediately transported hundreds of meters away while creating multiple shadow clones to be dispersed around the snowy plains. Also, upto the Second Gate of Evil God: 'Burning Heart' followed with the crazy surge of profound power.

Just as he had backed away, an incomparably terrifying vibration occurred beneath the ground that gradually intensified.

From underneath the wave of water, an incredibly huge white figure rushed out heavily landing on the water. It was an enormous beast that was around three hundred meters tall and white hair covered its entire body.

As soon as the beast noticed the various similar looking thieves around it. The giant beast angrily lifted up its arm, smashing downwards towards them.

The attack fell right in front of the beast, yet, the powerful shock wave it generated split apart nearby mountains, sending large chunks of pieces flying outwards. Most of Itachi clones barely held out from dispersing upon contact with that tidal wave of shock, utilizing the Second Gate of Evil God's art's defensive technique--- Sealing Cloud Locking Sun.

Boom!!

As the violent fluctuations reached him, a translucent barrier appeared all around him.

"Itachi..." Jasmine patiently said in a questioning tone of voice.

Itachi's 'Sealing Cloud Locking Sun' had barely held against the attack of the beast. However, the beast didn't seem to have any intentions of giving up as an incomparably large head focused entirely on Itachi.

Following which, it opened its large as well as deep mouth towards him , spreading forth an incredibly powerful suction force.

Instead of resisting the suction force, Itachi jumped towards the middle of that wide open mouth while maintaining the barrier around himself with all his profound power before everything suddenly became pitch black as the large mouth of the enormous beast finally closed shut.

The inside of the beast was full of chilly winds and chunks of ice. Itachi maintained the barrier while following the sensation that the Evil God's Profound Veins seemed to be leading him towards…..After some time had passed by, he eventually landed on a solid surface and stopped moving. The barrier around himself that he had maintained until now silently disappeared.

"Itachi, it seems you didn't need my help, not for getting inside at least…" Jasmine called out in a somewhat admiring tone of voice.

Itachi finally calmed his energy, which had been depleted by a lot. His profound strength was almost completely exhausted. However, he hadn't suffered from any severe injuries.

"Yes. Still, I almost ran out of profound energy. Anyways, there is a perfect solution for that…. "
