How strange...
This feeling when he caressed her body seemed very familiar.
Or it could be an illusion created by the carnality she has experienced at that very moment.
Her consciousness says no...
However, her body shivered with pleasure.
It replaced her hesitancy with longing.
With this, she hates herself for having such a reaction...
Momentarily, she was entirely devoured by his passionate kisses and gentle yet burning touch.
She could no longer prevent her body from submitting entirely at that moment.
His evasion brought a sensuality to her soul.
She could not stop but drowned in the deepest blue sea...

Pah!
A loud slap sounded after several hours had passed.
Krishna had sobered up and was horrified upon realizing what had happened that afternoon.
She isn't sure what to feel presently. She once made a mistake. But the second time around is no longer an exemption, and calls it a mistake. Instead, it proves how she became a loose woman and hated herself for not learning the lesson when she got pregnant with George after having a one-night stand with a stranger.
However, it should not push the blame on her entirely because it was apparent this man took advantage of her in broad daylight.
Thus, George was slapped by her the moment she woke up.
"I trusted you!" she bellowed after her palm landed on his face.
The slap he received was not enough to wash his guilt away. However, this is the best solution that he came up with. He must corner Krishna so that she will stay by his side.
And with that, he let her chide him.
"Did you take advantage of me because I got pregnant without knowing whom I slept with that night, so now you may judge me as a loose woman? I admitted I was to blame because I was reckless and incautious then. I'm only thinking of my sorrow and ignoring the danger that would fall to a woman after going to a pub alone and getting intoxicated! Initially, it was the main reason I didn't look for that man who took advantage of me because it was also my fault! But it doesn't mean I will sleep with random men after that!"
Krishna breathed in. She closed her eyes, then opened them again to meet his gaze and went on confronting him.
"I thought you were a decent man! I began to look up to and admire you because of the kindness you showed me these past two days! But I didn't expect that you were the same as those hooligans out there who would take advantage of a weak girl!"
What Krishna had said was like a sharp blade stabbing his heart repeatedly. He pursed his lips with guilt. But he disagrees he was one of those lazy men who did nothing but steal money without working hard.
What happened a year and a half ago was a mistake to call in; however, this time, he intended to sleep with her, but he could not tell her why he took advantage of the situation.
Furthermore, he isn't ready to tell her the whole truth as it includes what he'd done that night so that her memories vanish.
As for now, he'll bury these secrets. Thus, he told her,
"I will take responsibility for what I did."
Krishna was stunned to hear this. She gaped at him and mused, 'Is he serious?'
"Hmm… By giving me a handsome amount so that I keep quiet? Is that it?" she snorted.
"No." George's face became solemn when he replied, and she could not fathom what was in his mind.
"Oh. Really?" There's sarcasm in Krishna's chuckle. She believes he is not serious at all, and it is some kind of joke. Throwing a sharp glare, she clenched her jaw and sneered, "So? Are you going to drown me in the ocean?"
"That would never happen…"
George was calm during their conversation, and it annoyed her. Hence, she jokes about him.
"Is that so? Don't tell me you are willing to marry me instead?"
"Yes," George replied in a second.
Krishna was stunned. It was never in her wildest thoughts or dared daydreaming of it. She did not expect that George would buy her jokes. Therefore, she laughed like a madwoman.
"You're kidding me!" After she uttered this, Krishna stopped laughing when George remained dead serious, and there was no hint in his expression that he was kidding her. She lifted her left brow and said, "Am I wrong?"
"You are wrong, indeed, because I am dead serious about marrying you."
"Have you forgotten that I am a single mother?" her eyes widened in disbelief.
"I don't mind it."
Krishna was shocked again.
"Would your family accept me? I don't have a background to boost or a good upbringing." She was not trained to be a noble lady nor interested in living one. All she wanted was a simple and peaceful life together with her son.
"My family forced me to get a girlfriend, date anyone, or choose a wife from all the candidates they've chosen for me, which I never agree with because I will be the one to decide for myself."
"So you are doing this to annoy your family?" Who's in the right mind to propose to a single mother just because they had a one-night stand? Ah, that's not correct. They'd done it at noon.
So, a one-noon stand it is. Dang. Isn't that hilarious?
'Dammit! What am I thinking!' Krishna breathed in, then breathed out. She had to calm down and braced herself together.
"What? Is it because we've slept once, then you may overpower my decision to reject your proposal?"
George had rendered speechless at what she had said. He looked at Krishna with astonishment. If it was another woman, she already declared to the world that she was his mistress.
'It looks like she forgot we were officially in a relationship last night. It means what we are doing now is normal since we are both adults.'
"Hear this... I am poor, but I am not a cheap woman. Moreover, I am not a vixen or a gold digger. I will work hard to pay you back. But not in terms of giving you my body! But now you're saying you will marry me? Unless you are losing one screw in your head!" Krishna bellowed when he remained silent and dazed.
"You know I am a single mother! You have a reputation and image to keep. Do you think I like the limelight you are living in? Not everyone would jump on a wealthy man! Have you thought this would be like a scandal after it reveals my background? What? You will force me to deny I have a son? No way! I rather..."
"Hear me out first…" George cuts Krishna off before she finishes her whines. "It was true. We will keep a secret about your son. But it is in the beginning. And if it is revealed accidentally or intended, I am willing to admit that he is my son."
"What?" She didn't see that coming. More likely, she believed she had a hearing problem.
'He's completely insane! Is he telling me now that he would claim he was the man I slept with one year and a half ago? Who's in their right mind doing this?'
Krishna was totally shocked because she was oblivious to the truth.
"Are you even sane?" she added.
"I am sober, yes…" said George solemnly. But inwardly, his lips curled in amusement.
'There will be no difference! He is my biological son, anyway!' But he could not reveal this for the time being. So he went on, trying to convince her. Hence, he proposed out of the blue.
"Trust me, okay? Let's have a trial marriage for a year first."
"Wha—what did you say?" she stuttered and, at the same time, was apprehensive. "But you are in love with Stella. Right?"
