"Well. Unfortunately, you and they are wrong." Ethan replied.

Petal turned to look at Jacob who stopped the car on the roadside. 

"How so?" The woman asked.

Ethan kept on a poker face as he stopped the video."No need to hear the rest. I know everything I said very well." He said putting the phone on the deck.

Petal stared at him with hazel eyes that were full of sadness right now but she didn't cry. She didn't feel the need to. She was a fool and now she was paying the price for her foolishness. 

Now that he had confirmed that what he said in the video was true. She felt as if her heart had been stabbed with a knife. Everything was a lie.

"You did it all for revenge?" She asked him. Signaling.

Ethan chuckled as he looked at her."Yes. For revenge." He replied, watching the look of sadness on her face. He broke her heart.
