Sweet (18 February)

It was finally Friday, the end of the weekday. Evelyne only had one class for the day and she could go home. "Oh my, today's so tiring!" She said as she opened her apartment unit. She walked into her study room with her hand hitting her shoulder lightly to release the tiredness.

She threw herself on the mat once she was in her study room. Slowly, her eyes closed and she couldn't help but fall asleep. So, she was sleeping peacefully in her study room, without changing her clothes. 'Just for a few moments before working on a group assignment,' she thought.

After two hours, she hadn't woken up yet. Victor also had a shorter shift on Friday and came to Evelyne's apartment to check on her condition as usual. He called Evelyne's name several times, yet there was no answer from Evelynen when he called her name. "Evelyne! Just what is she doing so she can't hear me?"

He opened her study room, and to his surprise, he found Evelyne closing her eyes, sitting on the corner. "Evelyne!" He called again and there was still no answer.

Panicked, he took her hand and checked her pulse. There was no problem with her pulse. He then took his stethoscope to check her breathing, and as before, she was fine. Doubting it, Victor did another checking.

"Pfftt…" Evelyne suddenly laugh. "Victor, you're too noisy!" She laughed unstoppably until her stomach ached.

Victor who was panicked, looking at Evelyne woke up and laughed like that confused. "So. What were you doing?" He groaned and frowned, a bit annoyed with Evelyne.

"I was simply taking a nap. But it seems like I overslept. Then you came here and called my name, then checked my condition. So I decided to stay silent the whole time, yet you're too funny so I couldn't do it anymore." Evelyne explained everything to him.

"Eve! You!" Victor groaned in annoyance. He didn't notice that Evelyne pranked him like that. And why was he too easy to be pranked?

Suddenly, he got an idea to take his revenge. He slowly got closer to Evelyne, with his hands ready to tickle her. When Evelyne noticed that, she stopped laughing and asked. "Vi-Vict... What are you doing?" She pulled herself back to avoid Victor.

Without answering Evelyne's question, Victor executed his plan and tickled Evelyne's body. "Hahahahhahah… ahhahaha…" Evelyne laughed uncontrollably. Victor didn't let her go at all and kept tickling.

"Hahaha.. I… hahaha…. I'm sorry… Please… Hahahaha… please stop it!" She begged.

When Evelyne almost reached her limit, Victor stopped. "You messed with the wrong man, Eve." He smiled proudly. Evelyne didn't answer him anything. She was still tired from all the laughing.

"Anyway Eve… Please don't prank me that way anymore in the future," asked Victor sincerely. "Do you know how panicked I was? What if something bad really happened to you?" There was a hint of frustration in his voice.

"I-I'm sorry. But Vict…" Evelyne looked at his eyes. "You don't have to worry about me that much. I'm okay now and always will be. I promise."

Victor sighed. "Evelyne. I just worry about you, okay. For me you-" He stopped and hesitated. 'Are everything… I can't say it. What if she hates me because of that?'

Evelyne got confused because Victor stopped his words. "What? Are you okay? Now, I'm the one who's worried you know." Honestly, Evelyne was worried about Victor as he was worried about her.

She was afraid that she actually had tied him too close that he didn't have time for himself. She was worried about how his life would be if he only looked over her. He should at least be a little bit more selfish and put himself on his top priority.

"Ahem… Eve… I really am worried about you. That accident…. That should be the last. Please."

"Alright." Eve sighed. It was impossible to make Victor stop worrying and now, she felt guilty for not being careful that night. Victor was still shadowed by the accident that night and there was no telling when he would forget that night.

Realising that the atmosphere wasn't good, Victor changed the topic. "By the way, when will you do the check-up?" He was referring to his suggestion to Eve to have a check-up with his brother, Raimon.

"Well, the day after tomorrow. I talked to him and he booked me at that time, as his last patient that day. So we can talk more."

Victor was silent for a while, then he smiled. "Okay. Have a good day then." He messed Evelyne's hair up, as usual.

"Huh?" Evelyne was shocked. She was mentioning that she could have a good time talking with Raimon to Victor, yet he didn't respond to it negatively. She was hoping that Victor would show his jealousy or something. "I didn't expect you to agree with it that easily."

"Why? I suggested you check up with him."

"Whoa… I thought you'd be angry." Evelyne's jaw dropped in surprise. "Or maybe…" She moved closer to Victor. "Do you want to join us?" She smirked.

"No. I won't. I have work to do," declined Victor.

Evelyne's face changed. "Yeah yeah… All you have with you is your work and me. Good luck!" She said in sarcasm. "Ah… wait… I also have work to do too!" Evelyne panicked that she had spent more than thirty minutes doing nothing but talking only.

"Yeah… let's do our work now."

Both of them took their laptops and books ready to do their own work. Evelyne took a closer look at Victor, and when he put his laptop on a small table, she moved to get closer. "Hiya!" Evelyne jumped on him and quickly she was tickling Victor's body.

"Hahahaha… Eve… Hahaha… What's… What's this for…." Victor tried to stop Evelyne, who kept tickling him. After he struggled for a while, he finally managed to grab Evelyne's both hands. "Stop," he said as he was catching his breath

"Hehehe… Okay!"

Both of them then started working.
