Eleven: Where Were You?

I pushed Chat away, and stared at the newcomer. He was crouched down on the edge of the roof, his eyes darkened with an angry shadow.

I knew him. He knew me.

"Hello, (Y/n). Found you." He said, with a small smile. I saw a small scar that split the edge of his lip. One eye was a little more sunken.

"Wait, you know this guy?" Chat had his baton out, and was twirling it, ready to fight.

He answered for me. "Somewhat." He shrugged.

"That's not good enough." Chat hissed.

My fingers grazed the bow on my shoulder, and my lights flickered with a dark orange colour. "How dare you." I whispered.

He stared at me. "Listen-"

"How you do this to me." Tears gathered in the edges of my eyes. .

"(Y/n)-"

"say my name in that tone!" I snapped.

"What-?" Chat began to ask, but he shut up. I glanced back to see that Ladybug had come, and had placed a hand in his shoulder.

"No, you have to understand-"

"I don't to do anything!" I growled, whipping back to him and copying his words. "Do you how long it's been?"

"Yes. I do, but-"

"Five years! Five years!" I snapped.

"I know, okay!" He yelled. "Listen, I know-"

I leaped at him, but I was held back by both Ladybug and Chat. My wings were pinned down to my back by their hands.

He took his chance. "I'm sorry. I-I didn't know where I was. I just found out you were here... And then I heard what happened, and knowing you, I knew that you'd be out, so I began to look-"

"YOU LEFT THE FAMILY IN THE !" I screeched, causing him to flinch.

"Do you think that I don't that, Flame?" He cried. "I was in Alaska for who knows how long! Do you think that I worry about you guys every day?"

My glowing spots turned into a dark red and scarlet. "You are such an idiot!" I spat. "You just disappear and you go to Alaska? Why Alaska?"

He sighed, and pinched the bridge of his nose. "If I knew, I'd tell you."

I glared at him, and began struggling against the other heroes grips. "Thrip, you need to learn how to ask questions."

He rolled his amber coloured eyes. "I already know how to." He grinned. "Let her go. I think her murderous urges are over."

Ladybug let go right away, releasing the wing and arm she'd held. Chat was slightly more reluctant, his hands sitting there for a moment. I shook him off.

I spread my wings, and grabbed Thrip. "You realize that dad will throw a fit when he sees us in the news."

He shrugged. "Welp, I guess that I'll have to spend the rest of my short life with you as much as possible."

I rolled my eyes, my angry lights dimming, and swirling into a pinkish-yellow. "We're kin. It's not like we've got much of a choice."

He frowned at me, and poked my chest. "We've got lots to talk about."

I sighed, about to speak, but I was cut off by several screams.
