City of goud here we come

Adisa woke up in the basement. Seeing Jade still passed out and sleep.

It was Tuesday morning, the sun was shining aggressively this morning.

Adisa opened up the bathroom door and started showering.

He could feel the cold water quickly turn to hot in his skin.

After a couple of minutes in the shower Adisa could hear voices in his head.

"You have to stop it."

"Kill them."

Adisa put both hands on his head.

Adisa was having another vision.

It was as if he had a video playing in his mind.

He and everyone else was in a city. There were nothing but screams covering Adisa's ears.

Fire was everywhere, and lots of dead bodies on the streets.

Adisa fell on the shower floor and started yelling in pain.

He could hear footsteps approaching the bathroom quickly.

Before they could open the door Adisa could see a flash of lighting in his vision.

There was a man very long hair standing in the building. The man turned around slowly,to reveal he had the same aura as Adisa.

Before the man could show his face Adisa was awake now in a bed.

Adisa jolted up and looked around to see Frost,Summer,Jade, and Xavier all sitting around.

"Where the hell am I?" Adisa asked.

"Your in the hospital obviously." Jade said.

"How long have I been out?" Adisa asked.

"All day….it's almost night time now." Frost whispered.

Adisa couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was so confused.

"Jade was the one who saved you. According to her you were having a seizure in the shower." Frost explained.

"That's not the truth at all. Why don't you just tell him!?" Jade asked in a demanding tone.

Summer got out of her chair and walked towards Adisa.

"Adisa….get out of bed and hold your hand out."

Adisa got up and walked over to Summer.

He had chains on his feet and could barely move his legs.

"Why did you guys-just come to me." Summer interrupted.

Addis held out his hand to discover there was some weird force frisk keeping him from leaving to far from the bed.

"What's going on? Why would you guys leave me in here?" Adisa asked.

"You weren't acting like yourself….so therefore Udo knocked you out and here you are." Summer said.

"What do you mean, not acting like myself?" Adisa asked.

Summer walked back to her seat and didn't say a word.

Adisa put both hands on the force that was keeping him in there and begged for them to let him out.

"I don't remember anything…it wasn't me. I wouldn't hurt anyone intentionally." Adisa said in a painful way.

Adisa could feel himself empty. Whatever he was standing in. It canceled out all of his powers.

"I haven't even seen you all in almost a month…and I wake up to see you guys holding me hostage for something I didn't do." Adisa said.

"I think it's time he goes back to sleep." A strangers voice said.

A nurse walked into the room.

"We don't need him getting riled up anymore then he already is." She said.

Everyone left the room.

Adisa looked up to see gas coming in the the roof.

"It…can be this serious. If there's anything I hate more in the world is not being free." Addis yelled out.

Addis yelled until he fell back to sleep.

Everyone was outside the door and listened. But they didn't hear anything anymore.

"He's gonna be upset when he learns we are leaving today." Xavier said.

"Yea….it's gonna take us a week to get there. So we have to head out now." Summer explained.

"Hey there, who the hell said your one of us?" Frost asked Summer.

"According to your captain I'm not a troop. But I'm here to assist you all until I'm leaving." Summer snapped back.

"Yea? When do you plan on leaving then?!" Frost asked.

They were all interrupted by Udo's voice.

"You all need to shush." Udo said.

Everyone fell silent and stared at Udo.

"This is a very important mission, and you guys can't even get along!?" Udo asked them.

"Your all heading out soon. So be ready on the double." Udo said.

Udo left everyone where they stood.

"You guys don't feel bad for Adisa though?" Xavier asked everyone.

"He destroyed people's homes." Frost said.

"We can't let him out right now….it's to dangerous." Frost said.

"After all this is over…I'll get you out of there Adisa." Summer thought to herself.

Summer looked up to see everyone already down the hall.

"This is for your own good, Adisa." Summer said.

Everyone left the building and was getting ready to head out.

Jerome was already on his horse and ready to go.

Night was beginning to fall.

"Where's Adisa? And who did this to the clan?" Jerome asked everyone.

"He said he'll be late." Summer said.

Jerome glared at Summer, for a while. then started murmuring to Xavier.

"Well….I guess he'll catch up." Jerome said hesitantly.

Everyone got on their horses and was waiting for Udo to arrive.

Everyone was talking among each other until Udo appeared.

Jade was at his side.

"Ok, listen up. All of you need to succeed in this mission….failure is not an option." Udo said.

"All we know is that there will be two or three enemies there,in the city. They are incredibly strong according to Jade here."

"Remember. People from the Leo clan will be there to assist you all. There's gonna be five of them with the five of you."

"You all will work together to at least capture one of these guys and bring them to either clan."

"And protect the person who's in one of the families…..At all costs." Udo said.

"Yes sir." Everyone yelled out.

"Jerome will lead you all….good luck." Udo said as he disappeared.

"All right kiddos. Let's move, out!. Jerome said.

Jerome's horse forced its way to standing on two feet.

It took off in the distance while the others quickly followed.

Frost turned around and could see the clan disappearing from his view.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

Summer stared at Frost as he said this.

Everyone disappeared into the distance.

Two hours went by,they were all still riding the horses.

"We are about to stop and take a break. In a couple more miles." Jerome yelled back to everyone.

Everyone was close together.

Everyone had a torch,except Xavier.

"Expansion….all seeing eye." Xavier said.

In the distance he could see twenty creatures running straight at them in the dark.

"Jerome, up ahead. There are wolves coming right now." Xavier yelled out.

Jerome acted quickly.

"Everyone spread out. At within 30 yards." Jerome said.

Jerome stood up on his horse as it was still running.

A giant wolf came out of the darkness and lunged at Summer's horse.

Jerome jumped off his horse and sliced the wolfs head off.

Before he could hit the ground,Summer grabbed his hand and tossed him on his horse.

Xavier pulled out his bow as he saw two wolves jump at Jerome's horse now.

Jerome again jumped off of his horse.

This time jumping from the front of it. While he was in the air, Xavier shot two arrows at the wolves.

Jerome was in the middle of doing a backflip as he looked the wolf dead in it's eyes.

He could see the arrow going through the wolf's head. And Jerome once again stabbed another wolf in its stomach.

Jerome quickly grabbed on to his horse again.

Jerome was now hanging on the side of his horse.

"There surrounding us." Jerome yelled to everyone.

"Frost throw your torch now!" Jerome ordered.

Frost threw his torch as far as he could.

Before it landed in the ground they all could see a whole pack in he dark.

"Expand." Jerome whispered.

Everything stopped in its path.

"That settles our little problem." Jerome said to himself.

One by one, Jerome was killing the wolves.

No one could move besides him in his expansion.

Jerome took a moment to look around. Every one of the wolves were now dead.

In a joking way, Jerome padded over to his horse and hoped on.

He snapped his fingers to release his power.

When he did everyone was riding in the same places as before.

"What the hell?" Frost said.

"Stay in this formation. We're about to make camp here." Jerome yelled.

"You used that power didn't you?" Jade asked.

"Obviously." Jerome said in a bland way.

They all stopped shortly and made a fire. They all huddled around it.

"Xavier, you see anything out there?" Jade asked.

"Nope." He answered.

Everyone sat around the fire. They all looked very tired.

"I'll keep the first watch." Jerome said.

Everyone payed down, and soon went to sleep.

The only people up were Jerome,Xavier, and Jade.

"I thought I told you guys to rest." Jerome snapped.

"Yea,I'm not tired." Jade replied.

"I'm gonna go on a walk." Jade said.

"Don't go far." Jerome said.

Xavier got up and followed Jade.

But Jerome stopped Xavier before he could catch up with her.

"You stay around her as though you have feelings." Jerome claimed.

"Eh-no, she's just a good friend." Xavier said.

"Friend?." Jerome asked.

"Just remember, she's the one who made you kill kids last month." Jerome whispered.

"You need to stop being the kind guy, show some bone." Jerome said.

"Not everyone is your friend." He added.

Jerome turned his head and looked out in the distance.

Xavier lowers his head with disappointment on his face.

He ran over to catch up with Jade.

They were all in a desert like area, with beautiful starts in the sky.

When Xavier caught up with Jade, she was laying down looking at the starts.

"Hey there." Xavier whispered.

"Hey Xavier." She said.

Xavier layer beside her, looking at the stars.

"I've always noticed you looking at the stars…why is that?" Xavier asked.

"It clears my mind." Jade claimed.

"Oh, I see."

Xavier scooted closer to Jade.

"It's always been a dream of mine to reach the stars." Xavier told.

"Reach the stars?" Jade asked.

"I just wonder what it's like up there….to be free." Xavier said.

"Freedom doesn't exists for our people. Never has, never will." Jade explained.

"No, that's why we have to fight for it." Xavier said.

"We've all been fighting each other instead." Xavier said in a sad tone.

Jade fell in silence and just looked up.

"Do you regret it?" Xavier asked.

Jade turned her gaze.

"Regret what?" Jade asked.

"Sending those kids to their deaths." Xavier said.

Jade popped up quickly and walked over to the fire.

Xavier ignored it and kept staring at the stars.

"Your deaths weren't in vain. At least, that's what I believe." Xavier said.
