At lunch, Lee Hwashin sat with Hwa Lee. She was deep in thought about all of this, even as Hwa Lee chattered about a book that she really liked about a female astronaut. That's right—Hwa Lee, the protagonist of Heartbreak High School, was a major bookworm, Lee Hwashin remembered. It was classic for a manhwa protagonist. Instead of jabbering about handsome boys, Hwa Lee, despite her pretty looks, was more interested in sci fi novels than in the practical harem of high school boys that were all ways vying for her attention.

Lee Hwashin opened her lunchbox absently. It was exactly the same as in the beginning of Heartbreak High School's first chapter—she, isekai'd into the supporting, comedic relief friend Lee Hwashin, bestie of Hwa Lee, and the protagonist Hwa Lee herself, were sitting in the cafeteria together while Hwa Lee chattered about sci fi. This was how the first chapter started.

Which meant that, in just a few minutes, that bitch should be coming around...Lee Hwashin bit her nails and searched the bustling cafeteria.

"And you wouldn't believe the plot twist, but I can't tell you, Hwashin-ah, because I need you to read about it so we can talk about it together! It was soooooo good! And the book is unique, too, because it's not in the BL genre like these books normally are, instead it's—Hwashin-ah?...Lee Hwashin...?"

A perfectly naturally, manhwa-quality manicured hand was waving in front of Lee Hwashin's apprehensive face. Lee Hwashin snapped out of her thoughts. She blinked, smiling goofily at Hwa Lee. That was how Lee Hwashin would react in the manhwa, right?

"Huh? Sorry, I got distracted. Too many handsome boys around, you know what I'm saying?" Lee Hwashin joked, elbowing Hwa Lee a little. Lee Yoona remembered: in the manhwa, Lee Hwashin's character was comedically dramatic and always joking about or pointing out boys to Hwa Lee, like a foil. She could never get a boyfriend, but that was just the fate of a comic relief best friend, right?

Hwa Lee rolled her beautiful blue eyes, snorting and elbowing Lee Hwashin back lightly. "You're so boy-crazy, Hwashin-ah. Why are you even interested in anyone here? There's no one good..."

Lee Hwashin swallowed. Uh...what would Lee Hwashin say? Suddenly, she belted out a laugh, slapping her knee. "You're right! But I can't help it. They're like yummy chocolate bars. I can't help but look around and rate them and want to try, huh?"

Hwa Lee stared at her in disbelief, mouth slightly agape.

Lee Hwashin swallowed. Oops...had that been too loud? Too provocative? What should she do now? To cover up her strange comment, Lee Hwasin forced a laugh again, elbowing Hwa Lee. "Just kidding! You know how I like chocolate, ha, ha..."

Crisis averted. Hwa Lee's face softened, and she laughed, nodding. "You do, of course. Which is why I brought a bar to share today!" She began to rummage in her simple blue backpack. Hwa Lee wasn't a wealthy protagonist. Most manhwa protagonists aren't. Of course, most of her suitors were swimming in family inheritance money, so she didn't need to worry about it in the end. From her bag, Hwa Lee proudly drew out a bar with a silvery wrapper, smiling sweetly in the way only a manhwa protagonist can. She was impossible not to like. "Here! Your favorite. Raspberry-filled chocolate!"

Lee Hwashin gasped, putting her hands to her face with wide eyes. "O-M-G! You're the best in the world, Lee-ah! You know me so wellllll!" She slapped Hwa Lee lightly on the back, giggling.

Internally, however, Lee Hwashin was screaming.

Raspberry.

RASPBERRY?

Oh no...I forgot...

Lee Hwashin was a character who spoke about three things. One, boys. Two, complaints. Three, raspberry chocolate.

And Lee Yoona HATED raspberry chocolate.

The last time she'd had it—well, before she died, that is—was when she was ten. She'd hated it so much that she'd hurled in the bathroom three times, and whenever she saw raspberry chocolate after, she'd gag and have to run away.

Trying not to shake, Lee Hwashin took a piece of chocolate from Hwa Lee's beautiful hand. It had a raspberry-looking filling that Lee Hwashin had to put all of her might into not vomiting at the sight of.

"Mmm..." She choked, forcing a smile that looked like someone was holding her at gunpoint. Which she was doing to herself, mentally. "...Delicious..."

Slowly, she raised it to her mouth. She placed it on her tongue. Okay. Dark chocolate outside. She didn't have a problem with that.

She bit.

Lee Hwashin gagged.

Hwa Lee, who was happily munching on a piece, too, suddenly became concerned seeing this. She put a hand on Lee Hwashin's back, eyes wide. "Hwashin-ah? Are you okay? Do you need to go to the nurse?"

Lee Hwashin shook her hand violently and shook her head, cheeks blown up with the effort of not hurling and spitting out the chocolate onto the floor. She could do this. If she was going to survive properly in Heartbreak High School, she needed to play the part of her character, and her character loved this disgusting concoction.

Just as she swallowed, there was a flash of white to her right, where Hwa Lee was sitting. Lee Hwashin's eyes widened.

With the distraction of this disgusting chocolate that shouldn't exist, she'd forgotten all about the first plot point! And that bitch!

Lee Hwashin whirled around to see Hwa Lee's beautiful, dark hair dripping with white milk while people all around turned to stare and mutter, some laughing and pointing. Behind Hwa Lee stood maybe the hottest girl in all of existence.

She was tall and slim, with the longest legs humanly possible, an upturned nose, double-lidded eyes, wavy black hair, glittering black eyes, and red lips. Lee Hwashin's eyes narrowed.

Jeon Yoomi, the Biggest Bitch of Heartbreak High School, and Hwa Lee's bully all throughout childhood.

Jeon Yoomi's lips twisted into a condescending smirk. She leaned towards Hwa Lee, snickering. "Oops! I must have tripped. Milk smells bad when dried, but I doubt it'll change the smell of poor Lee-ah's hair."

Hwa Lee sat, looking at Jeon Yoomi with anger and frustration, tears in her eyes. Her hands were balled on the table, but she didn't say anything. Yes, that was how it always was at the beginning of a manhwa like this. Hwa Lee, the innocent, naive, and pretty protagonist, didn't know how to stand up for herself. She'd been bullied so much that it had become her nature to just take it while holding back tears.

As for Lee Hwashin, Lee Hwashin was, right now, supposed to stand up...

And punch this bitch Jeon Yoomi right in the face, breaking her nose! Which would lead to a lawsuit later and Lee Hwashin's family getting extremely poor to the point where she couldn't barely stay in school, but what was more important? School or supporting a friend in true need, huh?

Lee Hwashin cleared her throat, clumsily standing up. It seemed her clumsiness from her past life had carried over. She glared at Jeon Yoomi and pointed a finger, stepping between the bitch and her cronies and her best friend in the world, Hwa Lee, the innocent protagonist who must be protected at all costs.

She poked a finger in Jeon Yoomi's chest, careful not to poke too low. Jeon Yoomi had, um, a prominent chest. She was supposed to be attractive in a hot way, like an easy girl putting herself out constantly. That's just how it was with female manhwa antagonists. They were always shown as whores!

Lee Hwashin was pretty short, so she stood on her tippy toes and leaned up all in Jeon Yoomi's face.

"You, Jeon Yoomi..." She started, trying to remember the exact lines. "You are a total BITCH! You're saying Hwa Lee smells like spoiled milk? Well, that's not true at all, but if it was, then you'd smell like—like—hurgh—"

Mid sentence, just when she was really getting into it, Lee Hwashin felt acid in her throat. She tasted raspberry on her tongue again, and her eyes bulged.

SPLLLAT! SPLAT!

Everyone stared as this crazy girl vomited all over the richest girl in school.

When she was done, Lee Hwashin blinked, staring at Jeon Yoomi, whose expensive, accessorized school uniform was now covered in very unappetizing fluids. She cleared her throat, face pale. Behind Jeon Yoomi, the classic bitch's cronies were gaping and backing away like they were afraid of being attacked with surprise projectile vomiting too.

Lee Hwashin cleared her throat. She could save this. When isekai'd, you need to act on your feet. She pointed to the vomit, glaring.

"Then you smell like VOMIT! BITCH!"

Without another word, she turned around, touch Hwa Lee by the hand, and led the protagonist out of the lunch room towards the bathroom to clean her off, followed by the gaping stares of a hundred students, some admiring, some shocked, some disgusted.

Jeon Yoomi screamed in the middle of the cafeteria, pushing the lunches Hwa Lee and Lee Hwashin had left behind onto the ground. She huffed in rage, staring after where the two girls had left.

"Lee Hwashin...do you really want to get on my bad side like this? I'll make sure you life is RUINED!"
