Chapter Thirty Nine

'What a surprise to find the royal princesses in the market' Keith said sarcastically when she got closer to the girls.

'What is a human doing here?' The girl who was the first to pick up the scent asked arrogantly.

'It is the first time i am seeing the royals without the royal guards' the one who saw them first commented.

'They are not coming from the palace seeing the new faces i have never seen before' The one who guessed about them coming from Ephraim's house added.

"I thought respect is been taught by mothers in the kingdom?" Euphorial asked no one in particular as she locked eyes with Keith who seem to be the leader.

"I guess good mothers are rare this days" Geyra answered her while smirking at the arrogant nobles.

Keith grinded her teeth in anger when she saw the arrogance the human was displaying before her and her friends,the noble vampires.

"There is no fault with the mothers,children of nowadays are the ones with the empty head" Grace abused innocently and the guards secretly laughed while the maids smiled internally at the ongoing drama between the princesses and the lady of their house.

'Do you know who we are?' One of the girls asked Euphorial.

"I don't know who guys are and i don't care about your identities,but what i know is that everyone is to bow in respect whenever you see a royal since they are above you no matter who you are.Even the humans you so much hate does that" Euphorial replied back with an innocent voice and face thereby angering Keith more.

"Lady Euphorial,i think we need to get back to prince Ephraim because it is noon already and i don't want him to punish me for making his bride walk for so long when the wedding is just nine days away" Kayla reminded the ladies while intentionally mentioning Ephraim and the upcoming wedding.

"We need to go back to the carriage i don't want brother getting angry at my sister in-law" Geyra also added following the trend of Euphorial's maid before smiling evilly in her mind when she saw Keith face that was so pale in anger.

When they got back to the carriage the guards started laughing out loud.No one would have thought the lady of the house could handle those arrogant bitches because of how naive and innocent she looked.Today has proved them wrong,they will need to share the drama with their remaining ten.

'I really commend you for your boldness' Grace complimented when the carriage started heading back.

'That is true sister in-law.I have never pictured you as a person with the domineering nature.The aura you have is really a facade,you are a perfect match for my brother' Geyra butted in before smiling and resting her head on her twin shoulder who tried to shrug her off but couldn't because of her tight grip on her arm.Euphorial and her maids laughed when they saw this and they continue to chat on their way back while the guards secretly listen to their conversation.

Back to the market,exactly where the princesses,Euphorial and her maids just left.Keith crumpled all the bought goods in her hands with her sheer strength that was powered by her anger and her friends gulped in fear.

Even though they are the daughters of the four dukes of the kingdom,they still seem to fear Keith (the daughter of the Madam Kathi-the well known crazy vampire).Maybe they feared her because of the reputation of her mother being crazy or because her mother is the closest friend of the vampire king's favorite.It must have been because of her mother (the four of them concluded before signalling to one another,telepathically saying good bye with one another while leaving Keith alone).

'Mother!!!!' Keith voice beamed as she entered the living room of their house.

"What is it my dear?" Kathi patiently asked her daughter who was born as a half rogue vampire.The normal part coming from her father the deceased king's friend and the rogue part which had been masked by the normal part came from her.The traces of her daughter being a half rogue was still there that was why she always ensure that her daughter is happy.

'The palace.I think we should go now' Keith answered.

"Let us wait till evening comes" Kathi pacified.

'No! I just met with the royal princesses and Ephraim's so called bride,do you know how pathetic i looked before my friends who knew about the king's promise and my love for Ephraim?' Keith asked her in rage.

"You really need to calm down now or else i am going no where" Kathi threatened when she saw her daughter's eyes turning half dark because of her rage which is triggering her rogue side,which is not a good thing for her.

'I will after i hear from the king' Keith said before punching the wall which shook at the impact.

"Take this and drink.Go and wash up and touch up your make up" Kathi ordered as she gave her a bottle that was filled with blood and a bit magic which will surpress her rage.

Keith took the bottle from her mother and she ran to her room to look presentable and beautiful.

Kathi shook her head in pity for her daughter as she think of how to corner the king with his promise.
