P H R A S E R - P O V
I picked up one of the dozen books on the table and begun to read it. It had been more than a year since I had read one of these subjects or had hair on my head. Chemotherapy, just like what they all said, was a bitch. Basically, they had offered me two choices: option one was to have the usual dosage and it would take one year and a half to finish the whole thing. The downsides of this option were that I had to walk around hairless and look like an emo kid with black nail polish since chemotherapy could cause hair loss or alopecia is the medication used to kill rapidly dividing cells. There was a method called "scalp cooling" that could actually prevent permanent and temporary hair loss but honestly, I could care less. Option two was to have a slightly reduced dosage that would take two and a half years to finish the whole thing but the benefit was no hair loss and no free black nail polish.
