chapter 2. It's all about imagination

"Husband, it's that you! Are you there?" Lucy jolt from the bed before opened the room window after heard the word whispered to her mind.

Xeols was surprised for his wife to heard his mind when he thought the word for her inside his mind. He was scared that his wife see his current appearance who becomes a tree. Not an regular tree, but an irregular tree.

(Don't look at the tree before you! Close your eyes, faster!) Xeols gave a warning to his wife to not look at him. He knew he was a monster three and he scares that his wife will loses consciousness by the surprise she might take.

"What a wonderful tree! Why do you so scared for me to looks at the tree. Where are you...you a tree?"Lucy was surprised there big and beautiful tree. The tree have a very lively green leaves and brown bark along with beautiful pattern all around its body. She finally remember that there have no tree at there and felt weird about her husband warning. She finally notice there a human face that exactly like his husband on the big three.

(I told you. Don't look at the tree. Are you surprised?) Xeols said to his wife through telepathy. Xeols feel happy when his wife praised at him who already become a tree.

He feel proud at himself as a tree.

"I'm so touch, that you still come home for me with you appearance! I also not scared at you appearance, who already become wonderful tree." Lucy told to her husband. She also has sparkle eyes while looking at the tree.

(Don't you scared at me? Still look at me with those eyes.) Xeols didn't know to laugh or cry at his wife reaction.

"Hey, hubby can I build a room above your big head?" Lucy said in expected tone. She looked at the big space that enough for her to build a room for herself.

"Err"

(Eh, you want build a room on top of my head? With yourself? It impossible even if I let you.) Xeols said while looking at his petite and milky skin who never do much for physical work.

Lucy becomes sad after heard his husband word. She immediately become happy when looked at his husband. She was thinking for a answer before recalled a light novel about a Irregular tree in apocalypse that she use to read until the author announced for hiatus.Thanks to that, she has thought how to build a room.

"Husband, do you feel that you have supernatural power?" Lucy asked with a sweet smile vividly on her expression.

(Well, it's telepathy with you counted as supernatural power? Why you asked?) Xeols was curious what his wife thinking to do.

"Other than that, there any other ability of yours" Lucy didn't want to given up asking to his husband.

In the novel that she read, the protagonist found out that his ability was related to his imagination and control of nutrients bellow his feet. As long he has enough nutrients and good imagination he could control the whole situation with his tree body.

(Hmm, lets me think. Other than telepathy I have super strong body. I can ran faster than the fastest sport car and never tired. There it is! I yet discover other ability maybe that for later.) Xeols said to his wife before scratch its tree-liked head with his right hand.

He knows nothing why his wife looking at him in angry expression after he told her about his ability. He recalled all the thing he just said with his word, since all the thing he just said is the truth without a single lie then why it's makes his wife angry then.

"You stupid! Are you never watch any anime or light novel? You shall use your head to imagination about it later. What the tree ability usually had and what the skill can be you gained with you current physique. Do you understand?" Lucy said in one breath to her husband. She hates the way his husband always complained at her when she didn't pay him attention when she busy at watching at the anime or light novel.

(Stupid! How can you call me a stupid? I am your husband! Damn it, I build your little room on my head. You shall take back your word after I finished building it!) Xeols a little dissatisfied at his wife. He never thought she get irritated at him who wished coming back to live just for her.

"Hubby, try your hard! After this we can travel all over the world together. I will always cheer on you?" Lucy smiled in devil-liked expression while thinking about something she will do after her husband completed building above his head.

"Wrrr"

(Well, so be it! You do your stuff and and don't disturb me.) Xeols hates his wife who sometime turn 180 degree chances with him. She was unpredictable for him. That what unique about her, she never stay herself.

"Oh, don't forget to kick out the ugly zombies around our house. I was truly scare back then. How shameful of me!" Lucy informed her husband before going downstairs with a cat in her embraces.

Xeols dumbfounded at his wife word. He truly going to punish her by slap her bottom. When he though that he already become a tree, he immediately forget about the idea when thought about how big and strong his tree-liked hand.

(If I truly slap her bottom...) Xeols imaging what happened to her if he truly punish her. He immediately shuddered about his own thought.

(Forget it! Time hunting for zombies around my house.) Xeols makes his move to the surrounding house. After tired by looking at them one by one. Xeols try to imagination about his owned a ability the heard any foot echo above the ground by half closing his eyes.

Sure enough, he felt the ground become one with him as soon he started felt his surrounding by himself. As soon he becomes one with earth, he can felt all the living around him in range 10 kilometers precisely. He immediately head toward the most zombies and nearest to his house.

Before long, almost all the zombie was killed by him alone. Of course, there human who become shock of his battle to the zombies too. They wanted to follow him but all of them has no speed to run along with him. They human who witness the tree against the zombie know that tree not hostile to the human being and only living them intact without causing harm or injure to any of them.

(Am I cause to much scene? For human to started acknowledge by existence.Well, who care! I must complete the small room above my head for my wife. So that she will acknowledge my ability to create anything for her.) Xeols thought when stands at the house big courtyard.

While at it, he once again start to imagination while closing his eyes. He imagination his body to absorb the essence of the world nutrient and his feet absorb the earth core essence. The tree become bigger with time and not enough for the courtyard to sustain him anymore. He changes his imagination to create a crown-liked head with a small house on it. The small house has everything necessary such as room along with bed and a hammock also shelf for book more than enough for his wife to satisfy with him.

Xeols finally opened his eyes after imaging what he wanted while felt something changed with his body. Xeols smiled when he got bigger even and with a crown on his head along with small house on the crown when he felt it with his hand.

"Woah! Hubby finally did it? Come! Lift me up to the new house above your head." Lucy uttered the word before informed Xeols to give her a lift to the new house. She never notice Xeols face become angry at her.

(I will given you a lift to the new house! You even forgot what I just told you early before I build the house.) Xeols said in dissatisfied before turn back his face to another side while embrace his hand to each together.

"Aiyoyo, there a person mad at his wife oh. Okay, okay! My husband is the most genius hubby ever live. Are you satisfy yet? If you satisfy, lift me up there already!" Lucy taken back her word early before gave a praised to her husband.

"Hrr"

(You praised seems weird for me. Well, so be it! Here come sit on my palm. Hold on tight or you will fall.) Xeols said before stretch his hand to told his wife to carefully sat on his palm. Of course, he never thought how his wife feeling trilled and excited in same time.

(How is it? The small house I just made is still alright right.) Xeols asked while wanted to be more humble to his wife with his word.

"Hubby, thank you! It's so beautiful inside it. You so considerate toward me even created a book self and hammock for me to read my light novel. Sadly, you cannot come inside yourself how unfortunate for you, hubby." Lucy said her thanks to her hubby while looking around the small house. Her word changes to weird one at the last sentenced when she know that her husband just wanted to pretended be humble just because to scheme some praises from her.
