Fortunately, in his hands was the grim key to salvation - a nightmare generation system capable of unleashing any darkness from the bottomless depths of the subconscious. One by one came Jason, Freddy, Sadako, Gamako, Fond, Cthulhu and creatures from the Back Room. Their illusory nightmares made the entire Marvel world freeze in spine-chilling horror. Now John could draw strength from these monsters and withstand the unequal battle against absolute evil. Their nightmares became his only grim hope for salvation in this terrible world.

Chapter 1Inventing Creepy Myths!

Hell's Kitchen.

The sewers of New York, a place where rats gather.

This is the most dangerous area in all of America.

Murders, human trafficking, and other heinous crimes happen here every day.

At night, no one dares to wander the streets unless they are a member of some gang.

But now these gangsters were stumbling out into the street with frightened expressions, as if some terrible creatures were chasing them.

"Ahem."

Someone fell, and before they could get up, their companion stepped over them.

A scream came from the dark alley.

"Don't... don't leave me! Please..."

No one cared about his screams.

A bloodied machete with a blunted blade emerged from the shadows.

The man holding the machete was dressed in a ragged jacket and dirty jeans that you could no longer see the original color of. His face was covered with a mask.

His tall, almost two-meter-tall body looked like a giant's.

"No, don't kill me!" the gangster cried out in horror.

"I have money, I'll give you everything!"

Obviously there was a gun in his hand, but he couldn't muster an ounce of courage to fight back.

Jason raised the machete and calmly struck.

Blood splattered on Jason's mask, and some drops got into his eyes through the slits in the mask.

However, Jason didn't even blink.

He continued to pursue the members of the gang who had scattered in different directions.

Waiting until Jason left, John emerged from the shadows, although his figure was not as tall as Jason's, but his physique was as beautiful as a marble sculpture.

With a well-groomed face and delicate facial features, even God could not create such a perfect human.

[Congratulations on completing the creation of your first bizarre project, gaining [Fear Points] 1800 and being awarded a beginner's gift pack.]

[Production is complete, you have received an S-rank rating and have been awarded [Madness, Rapid Recovery, and Mastery of Cold Weapons]]!

Upon hearing the reward, John breathed a sigh of relief.

Some of these rewards gave John a basic map for saving his life.

However, the main reward was the "Fear Points."

"1800 fear points? Creating Jason cost me five hundred fear points, which means I can create stronger bizarre creatures."

John smiled satisfactorily: "By the way, there is a beginner's gift pack here, I have to open it."

He clicked on the gift pack to open it.

[Ding, congratulations on getting the [Cafe of Fate] scene card, congratulations on getting 1000 [Fear Points]!

[Cafe of Fate: In the Cafe of Fate, the owner's power is always one rank higher than others, and the owner's power is at least at the Celestial level. Any other characters exceeding or equal to the Celestial level cannot observe the interior of the Cafe of Fate.]]

John breathed a sigh of relief: with this card, John didn't have to worry about dying on the street.

Right in the alley, he used the scene card.

An old-fashioned cafe appeared in the alley, looking simple yet elegant.

It seemed as if this cafe had always been here and was no different from any other.

John entered the cafe, and his heart finally calmed down a little.

After traveling to the Marvel world, John had been panicking for several days.

After all, with a face like his, in a place like Marvel, where human lives were cheaper than grass...

If some female villain looked at him, would he lose his modesty?

Although some Marvel movies were quite pleasant to watch.

As a media blogger who was extremely knowledgeable about American comics, the lives of ordinary people in this world were cheaper than paper.

Any major event that killed several hundred million people was just a trivial matter.

An event that swept across the entire universe, destroying several planets and even the entire universe, on the other hand, was a rarity.

Fortunately, John, like other travelers, had gotten a system called Myth Fabrication.

By consuming the system currency called [Fear Points], John could create [Horror Creatures] and [Horror Scenes].

Depending on the power of the horror creatures and horror scenes created, the number of [Fear Points] consumed varied.

For example, Jason cost John five hundred fear points, which was all the points the system had given him.

But he was worth every penny.

John was very satisfied with Jason's results and threw out the one thousand fear points gifted by the beginner's gift pack.

Jason had already earned one thousand three hundred fear points for John.

Jason from the movie "Friday the 13th" was abused by children from a summer camp because he suffered from autism as a child.

His mother, a black witch, kills the counselor who did not pay attention to Jason's death at the summer camp, after which he is thrown into the lake and drowned.

Jason manages to come back to life, but after being charmed by the witch, Jason turns into a demonic killer.

A terrible creature with super strength, endurance, perception, mastery of cold weapons, and the ability to unlimitedly revive and regenerate.

Although Jason is terrifying, he also has many weaknesses.

But against gangsters who only bully the weak...

Realizing that their weapons could not harm Jason at all, they became defenseless.

Each of these gangsters ran faster than a rabbit.

"One Jason is not enough, I need more sources to get more [fear points]."

More [fear points] could be obtained from plot characters, but Jason's strength could be stronger against gangsters.

But it might be more difficult with street heroes.

For example, Luke Cage from the Defenders League.

With his bulletproof skin, Luke Cage could completely ignore Jason's physical attacks.

After all, Jason only had physical attacks.

Two thousand eight hundred [Fear Points] was simply not enough.

"Let's continue to drain the lives of these gangsters." John thought and called up the system interface.

"The same bizarre creature can't be very useful, but there are still three movie and TV monsters left."

Although Leatherface was scary, he was still just an ordinary human, and in Hell's Kitchen, where everyone had weapons, Leatherface didn't have any particular advantage.

John immediately ruled out meeting Leatherface.

There was still Michael Myers and Freddy left.

Michael Myers from Halloween.

As a child, Myers was instilled with evil thoughts by his nanny, who was a cult member.

As a result, Myers turned into a demon.

He possesses abilities similar to Jason's, and is not as resistant to firearms as Jason.

However, Myers has no visible weaknesses.

Next is Freddy, who is probably the "scariest" of the four demonic killers.

As long as he is asleep, Freddy is invincible!

With what can be said to be unsurpassed ability to enter dreams, he kills his opponents in their dreams.

In the movie "Freddy vs Jason", by entering the dream, Freddy completely dealt with Jason.

Although in reality Freddy is no match for Jason at all.

But at some point you had to fall asleep.

"Then let's create Freddy?" John created Freddy's image on the creation template and clicked [Create].

[10,000 [Fear Points] are required to be expended, your balance is insufficient].

"10,000, is it really that much?" John frowned.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
