A small girl walks in with a bucket full of cold water from the borehole in their small town in Los Angeles.

She splash the water on her face in her small bed.

Odeya stop pls....let me sleep mom...hmmmm,the girl at her twenties said.

Wake up sleepy log....she empty the entire bucket on her as she pick up a race...

You little rat I wish I was a cat to delete you from troubling me,she runs after her why they run around their little unkept cottage.

Mom...mom....safe me she want to hit me with the firewood....,Odeya cried out faking her voice.

Roslyn... Mrs Shawn shouted as she rush towards them but slipped due to the water on the floor.

Ahhhhhhh....,she scream in pain.

The both daughters run towards her,mom they both call in guilt.

They help her stand up and sit on the soak bed.

Yoooouu she draw Odeya ear and twisted it while she wince in pain and discomfort.

Am sorry mom,I just wanted to wish her happy birthday, I was just fooling around with her,Odeya explained holding her two ears as she apologise wholeheartedly.

Roslyn slap her back head little as she winced,am only also fooling around, happy birthday my beautiful smart daughter, Mrs Shawn said kissing her forehead as she tried hiding her pains,she doesn't want to spoil her day again this year,last year their father dead body was brought home,she won't allow her to cry today again.

They both hug her.

Mom ,little rat am off to work,take she hand over 10naira note to Odeya and another 500 naira note to her as to buy her needs in school as they discussed.

She went back inside and get change, she look smart as Odeya help her out with her hair and try to remove her big glass but she won't budge and finally give up.
