CHAPTER 8: A RED BUGATTI CHIRON

Alicia's eyes followed him and as soon as he got out,she saw him walk straight to a luxurious sparkly black car with flashy headlights,one in which she didn't know the name but looked like it cost a lot. 'wow,was that his car' she marveled as she watched him get into the car through the transparent glass and zoom off.

Alicia sighed before she returned her attention back to her food,she glanced at his food and wine which was only halfway gone as he didn't bother eating from it again the moment he went to get her food,her eyes darted towards the wine and she was quite sure that it must have been the wine that cost so much to make his bill up to a thousand dollars.

She continued her meal which was somehow quiet and peaceful until she was done,she stood up attempting to carry her tray back to the counter as she did whenever she was done eating at home. She stood up with the tray and was about to walk back to the counter when a lady stopped her.

"No no it's fine, leave it that's my job" she said politely and Alicia was quick to say thank you,pick up her bags and leave the restaurant because all eyes seemed to be on her now.

As Alicia cane out and headed back to her hostel,she once again became amid the chaotic swirl of students in the school. She gently pulled the fabric of her hooded sweatshirt low over her face,her sea green eyes peeking out from beneath the dark fabric like emerald jewels hidden beneath a wave but despite the conspicuous nature of her attire,the cover up still seemed to accentuate her allure,a silent mystery that intrigued and captivated all who chanced a glance her way.

As Alicia got closer to her hostel,she noticed a huge crowd of students surrounding all floors, as they leaned on the railings excitedly pointing at something far off,she also noticed students afar from other halls as well looking at the same direction and they all seemed excited as well,what was going on?

As Alicia got closer,she noticed that the crowd was actually bigger than what she thought and most of them seemed to be girls, even students from her own hostel were all out as well pointing towards that same direction.

Alicia turned towards the place and shiffted her hood a bit to have a look when she saw about six luxurious cars parked nicely as though they were in a parade but amidst the list of luxury cars, only one car seemed to draw and attract Alicia and the students even more and that car happened to be the very first one.

The car was a gleaming red Bugatti Chiron that outshone the sun itself,it's sleek lines and dazzling paint job spoke of wealth and power,an extension of the owner's undeniable charisma.

Now Alicia didn't know what brand that red car was but she was a 101% sure that it was worth millions but then who owned it? could it be that a huge personality came visiting because she was quite sure that a lecturer,not even the owner of Montgomery could own such a car,it wasn't possible!!.

As Alicia walked by the crowd,she focused on her hearing and that was when she began to hear the names Jaden and Kai, infact she even noticed that most girls had their phones out,taking pictures of the car from their distance and maybe also waiting for it's owner to emerge from anywhere.

"OMG,I can't believe he actually resumed today,I'm so excited". Alicia heard a gorgeous girl almost scream out her lungs.

"Yeah" another girl said. "who would have believed he'd actually be in school this week,my gush,my man is so unpredictable" she said as her pale cheeks turned pink,hope brimming in her eyes

"And who made him your man" the other girl replied looking upset as hell.

"And who said he's yours either" she snapped back sarcastically making Alicia to crease her brows,' don't tell me they were gonna fight over a guy who wasn't dating either of them'

Alicia made her way through the crowd which seemed to be increasing by the minute and with great difficulty,she finally reached her hostel and began to head upstairs which was also crowded with girls whispering among themselves.

They all had that dreamy and longing look in their eyes making Alicia to feel really lost. And Once again,the hall rained with the names Jaden and Kai and Alicia couldn't help but wonder who these people were to be able to throw such a fuss in a huge school like this.

Alicia got to her room after a lot of attempts to prevent bumping into other girls who were running down the stairs to go have a look.

Upon entering the room,she met Sophie lying on the bed and hitting on her phone with a headset right across her ears but she seemed to notice when Alicia walked in to the room.

She removed her headset and beamed at her " hey there cutie pie, coming from the cafeteria" she said glancing at the bag in her hand

Alicia's face flushed before she replied. " Yeah". She wasn't even a day old here and they were already calling her such baby names,as if she was a a pet daughter to them or what,well she actually was the baby of this room since she was the fresher and also the youngest.

Sophie after receiving a reply smiled before putting back her headset on while Alicia moved to her bed to settle down.

Sophie was just about to hit the play button on her phone when the door flung open startling them both.

A tall skinny girl rushed in. " Sophie!!!". She screamed

"Mmm,what" she replied looking annoyed at the way their door was flung open

"Guess what" the girl screamed looking excited as hell

"What" Sophie replied looking bored

"Jaden is backkkkkk" she yelled at the top of her voice and Sophie was quick to fling the headset off her ears.

"Liarr". She shouted in disbelief with eyes wide open as she tried to catch her already hitching breath.

"Come check it out if you think I'm lying" the girl said before she dashed out and Sophie was quick to follow leaving a confused Alicia behind

' what the hell is going on, who's Jaden!!!!'. Her inner mind screamed.
