Chapter 124: Interior design start

"Are you returning home or are you going to join the Olympiad training team?" Li Jian Yu ask Bai Yi Yang when he saw her pick up her bag. Bai Yi Yang had signed the documents, she don't have anything to do now. She helped up a bit, take some notes, transfer the results to her pen drive and she is done.

Li Jian Yu is in the Olympiad team too, but when Bai Yi Yang stated that she will not join the training and focus on the research team, he also do so.

Now, he and Bai Yi Yang are the only one that didn't join the training. His classmates will usually take note for him and give him the learning materials. He heard that Bai Yi Yang finished all the past years questions on her own, she even share some materials for the team to study. He rarely talk about things other than the research to Bai Yi Yang, so this is the first time they talked about the Olympiad team.

"You geniuses!" Ruby An harrumphed and glare at them. Bai Yi Yang and Li Jian Yu laugh at this.

"I am returning home. We have some guests so I can't stay long." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En. Even if you come you already know how to answer them." Li Jian Yu smile. Bai Yi Yang grinned, she didn't say anything about that comment.

"Anyway, I am leaving first. See you all on Monday." Bai Yi Yang said as she leave the lab.

"See you!"

Bai Yi Yang passed through the same way she come, she will have to wait for van at the bus stop later. Now is only 9.30 am, will she find a van soon? She glance briefly at the football field and the team are training hard, at the side of the field, a group of girls sat and watch the training with umbrellas. Once in a while they will cheer up the players.

Is this how a high school supposed to be like? Students involved in all kind of extracurricular activities, friendships, falling in love. These are things that she didn't experience in her last life. She never even walk this freely without having to feel stress because she don't have enough time revise and memorise everything.

"I like it like this.." She said it to herself as she continue to walk casually. She take her time and look around the school. Since this is the biggest school in this town, it is really quite big, she can even see Bai Yi Ling school behind the wall.

In no time, she reached the school gate and about to exit when she heard running sound behind her and her arm was pulled, she turn her body around and standing in front of her is Song Zheng Sheng. Looking more tired and sweaty than this morning.

"Water?" She asked him and hand over her bottled water.

"Thanks." Song Zheng Sheng grinned and immediately have a drink.

"What is it?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"I just wanted to say goodbye. Then..thanks.." Song Zheng Sheng smile brightly. He finished his words and ran back to the field with Bai Yi Yang's bottle water.

"Eh..that.." Bai Yi Yang sigh when he is far. That is her new bottle water okay, she haven't even used it for long yet. Today is the first time that she is using it and it was snatched away. Hurm..let it be bah. She turn around and head to the bus stop to wait for van.

She arrived home at 10.28 am. She also stopped by Aunt Mu store and bought some fresh vegetables and she also stopped by Old Zhou house to talk with Zhou Zhu Yao about her plan.

"Okay, I will surely tell my friend in advance. Last time she likes the present you bought her, she is eager to let us borrow her car again." Zhou Zhu Yao said laughing. Of course she will love it, they bought the hoodie for 300+ yuan, isn't this all so that they can borrow her car again.

"Okay. Then it's set like that." Bai Yi Yang said.

"My second brother is going back the end of this month. It's my parents wedding anniversary, when the day come, I will invite you over." Zhou Zhu Yao break the news.

"For real?!" Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Yes. After that day, I also start making plan with my eldest brother. We think what you said is right, so we bring it up to my second brother, he was hesitant at first, but then a few days ago he called me and said that he will apply for 1 week holiday and bring his wife and children home." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"Then, what did Grandpa Zhou and Grandma Zhou said?" Bai Yi Yang said.

"They can't believe it. So I called second brother and ask them to talk on the phone, my mother cried and she was scolding him at first for leaving home but in the end she call him to come back soon, and also bring all his family members. It was quite touching." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"No wonder Fang Fang said that she saw Grandpa Zhou crying, so it's like this. We thought she just saw it wrong." Bai Yi Yang said.

"How many years has it been? Of course they will miss each other." Bai Yi Yang add.

"6 years. Their oldest child together is 5 years old now, the second one is 3 years old, now my sister-in-law is pregnant again. When this one is born, they will have 4 children. That's too many, if it were me, two would be enough. I can't understand what's in my two brothers head." Zhou Zhu Yao said with a sigh. Uncle Zhou, Zhou Zhu Yao eldest brother also have 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters. There is no such thing as birth policy in this place, a family is allowed to have as much children as they want, as long as they can afford it. That is why their parents also have 5 children. In the village, there are more who has more than 5 children, so having more children is common.

"People says that children are blessing. You should be happy that you have a lit of nieces and nephews jie." Bai Yi Yang laugh.

After that, they chatted a bit more before Bai Yi Yang returned home. There is a truck and a car when Bai Yi Yang arrived home. She recognise the car, it is Ru Qing car.

Bai Yi Yang enter the house and she saw people getting busy in the Main house.

"Miss Bai, you are finally home." Ru Qing saw her when she enters the house.

"Hello." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Come, let me show you the things that my staff has finished." Ru Qing bring her to the kitchen first. The sticker has been applied go the wall all around the kitchen, as for the cooking area, there are different kind of design, it is an anti-oil and waterproof sticker. The design blends well with the rest of the sticker covering the kitchen wall, it doesn't look awkward at all.

After that Ru Qing told her about her plan to add cushions for the dining chairs.

"We might have to make some hole but I can guarantee you that the end product will look much better. What more, when it got stained, you can replace the cover or cushions. What do you think?" Ru Qing ask. She freak out when she saw the wood used for the dining table set, if she ruined it, how much will she have to pay. The craftsmanship is also impeccable. But it would look more modern with cushions added.

"Okay, we will do it like you say. I also made extra dining chairs, so other than this 6 chairs, there is another two." Bai Yi Yang agree and said. After that, Ru Qing show her an example of how it will look like when it is done. Then, Ru Qing also suggested a few decorations for the island counter and also the dining table.

"As for the dining table, I prefer to keep it empty without anything. As for this island counter, this die shouldn't have anything, this is my cat favourite dining spot." Bai Yi Yang point out.

"Of course, of course. We will do it like that." Ru Qing nod and take a note.

Then they head to the Main house, three staff is still putting on stickers at the living room, two people is also busy installing the curtain rod. Seeing that they are sweating, Bai Yi Yang turn on the air conditioning, the staff immediately feel relief and said their thanks.

Ru Qing brought quite a number of people today with her. She shows Bai Yi Yang the bedrooms that have been covered with stickers, all have different fell to it now.

"I have seen the two bedrooms that is fully furnished. I think I should call you Master from now on." Ru Qing said as they head to the East house.

"I just make them as what we have agreed with." Bai Yi Yang said.

"That's why I am so amazed. The craftsmanship is so good, if you didn't go to school, I am afraid that you would have finished all of it before I am done with preparing all things." Ru Qing said.

"Everything is going well right?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Yes. I got almost everything now, at the end of this month, we would be able to install everything." Ru Qing said.

"Very well, I will also try to hurry up with my work." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Should be no problem. Even if you haven't finished it, with the plan, you can placed them yourself. You have a good taste." Ru Qing said.

After that, they look around a bit more before they returned to the kitchen. Bai Yi Yang serve Ru Qing with juice drinks. She also asked if the staff wanted something to drink? Ru Qing take care of her staff and send them the drinks herself.

When Zhang Yong staff come down from the mountain, Bai Yi Chen is also with them. Bai Yi Yang said a quick words to the staff and also Grandpa Zhou before he and Bai Yi Chen enter the house.

"Where is the children?" Bai Yi Yang ask him.

"At the village. They leave when the people started working." Bai Yi Chen said. Bai Yi Yang nod and told him to wash up while she enters the kitchen. Ru Qing also returned afterwards with the empty glasses.

"Are you okay with lasagna?" Bai Yi Yang ask her.

"Good, I will help you." Ru Qing eyes light up. Last time, Bai Yi Yang cooking was so good, she cannot forget about them.

Bai Yi Yang start with making the meat sauce using ground beef that she bought from G supermarket by delivery, onion, garlic, mushrooms, bell peppers, tomato paste, tomato sauce and crushed tomato, lastly the seasoning. After that, she let it simmer while she boil the noodles and get three type of cheese which are ricotta, shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese. When everything is ready, she only need to assemble it.

She took the large lasagna glass pot and start assembling them. Ru Qing was amazed while watching her cooking. She is actually just the kitchen helper to wash the dishes, other than that, she cannot help with anything else. Bai Yi Yang cutting is very fast, if she help, it will make the process complicated. When Bai Yi Yang pop it up into a preheated oven, Ru Qing feels that she cannot wait any longer.

"How long will it cook?" Ru Qing ask.

"45 minutes. We can eat after 1 hour. Just right, now is only 11.00 am." Bai Yi Yang said.

"That long?" Ru Qing is feeling devastated. She totally forgot that she came to work, not to eat. Bai Yi Yang took out a bunch of fruits from the fridge and bring Ru Qing to make fruit salad too. This will be their lunch today.

By 11.30 am, they finished making fruits salad and Bai Yi Yang put it into the fridge to cool them while she went to take a shower at the West house. After that, she joined Ru Qing to chat in the kitchen.

Bai Yi Yang stood up and take out the lasagna from the oven and let it cool at the side. Ru Qing is already waiting at the side, ready to eat. But it still need to be cool down before eating. So she waited for 15 more minutes in torture.

Bai Yi Yang cut the lasagna into portion and prepare 6 portions for Ru Qing and her staff. She also prepare the fruits salad at the dinner table. The remaining is for her and her siblings.

"You and your staff eat first. My other siblings is still not home, we will eat later." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ah..that is inappropriate." Ru Qing said.

"What inappropriate. Call your staff, I will be in the room, call me if there is anything." Bai Yi Yang said before leaving. When she enter the living room, she told the staff to take a break and have lunch first.

The staff was already hungry when they smell the delicious stuff from the kitchen, so they all said their thanks and enter the kitchen.
