7, Heart Dream Sutra(1)

John was having a dream.

In his dream, he found himself in a strange realm full of flowers. Some were withered and fallen, some were blooming and fragrant. Under a tree, a tall man in white sat motionless, his face a mix of sorrow and joy.

A voice echoed in John's mind.

"My world was invaded by the evil spirits from beyond the sky. We fought back, but we lost. I escaped with the precious 'Heart Dream Sutra', the supreme technique of cultivation in my world. It must not fall into the hands of the evil spirits… Whoever inherits my Heart Dream Sutra must slay all the alien demons from beyond the sky and save my world."

The dream shifted again, revealing a vast continent that John had never seen before. It was full of mountains and rivers, and diverse landscapes. On this continent, everyone practiced martial arts, but there was no sign of technology, as if it was ancient times.

Many of them had incredible vitality, powerful and transformative.

Suddenly, the sky cracked open, and the continent was assaulted. Huge warships descended from the sky, and armored men poured out. They set fire, killed, and plundered on the continent. The people fought back, and the battle raged on. Some masters fell, and some warships were destroyed…

These armored men seemed to be the evil spirits from beyond the sky that the white-clad man mentioned.

"God… That's… That's our warship…"

John recognized these "alien demons" in his dream. They looked familiar to him, especially the symbol on the huge warship. It was a blue planet, the emblem of human warships from Earth.

"So… We are the evil spirits from beyond the sky. The Earth invaded your world. You fled and came to Earth instead." John was stunned.

Two hundred years ago, in 2150, a huge alien ship crashed on Earth.

It sparked the World War III, as various countries fought for the ship.

The war was devastating, but it eventually led to the unification of humanity. The top leaders of all countries joined forces to form a new human government.

Humanity entered a new era of unity.

In the first century of the new era, human science and technology advanced rapidly, thanks to the research on the fallen alien ship. The vitality of every human being was greatly enhanced.

In the second century, wormhole travel technology emerged. Humans started to explore other planets, found abundant resources, and even built bases on alien worlds.

Humans on Earth had reached the star age and had the ability to travel through wormholes. They had begun to conquer many planets, loot resources, and invade this continent.

But the white-clad man used a mysterious power to escape and avoid the precious Heart Dream Sutra from being taken.

He didn't expect that he would end up on the enemy's planet, drained of his energy, and eventually died.
