6 - Absurd Situation(3 - END)

I'm surprised that in just a few chapters, I surpassed 15,000 words... it was quite easy, to be honest. I just had to make sure not to write in a confusing way, while the rest were small errors due to inexperience in writing.

Well... looking at it that way, they seem like quite serious errors ¬ ¬ But anyway, I'm glad that I managed to reach 15,000 words without needing any random spam chapter. I have no idea about the usefulness of having 15,000 words in a work, but I already have the requirements for something I don't know! I feel accomplished, lol.

A series of windows appeared in front of Miguel's eyes as he woke up on the barren ground of the Instant Dungeon.

He looked around and found everything quite destroyed due to his battle with the Kobold Chief.

His clothes were a mess, and he hardly had anything that wasn't covered in blood, whether his own or the adversary's.

The corpse of the Kobold Chief was still there, not having disappeared, just like the corpses of all the Kobolds he killed in this Dungeon.

In the corner of Miguel's eyes, the notification window beeped. He decided to check the hidden notifications that appeared during the battle.

[The skill [Heat Mode] has been learned.]

[The first skill to be used with [KI] has been unlocked.]

[You have used [KI] for the first time.]

[A new skill, [Dandelion], has been learned.]

[You have executed someone using [Dandelion].]

[The option for [Achievements] has been created and unlocked; rewards for your achievements are ready to be claimed.]

[The passive skill Perception has ranked up.]

[Your attributes have increased after such an intense fight. [KI] has become a strong catalyst for this accomplishment.]

An explosion of notifications appeared on Miguel's screen once again, this time with even more ridiculous news.

"'KI'? A new skill? 'Achievements'?" He muttered, confused, as he stared at the notifications, too much for his mind to absorb.

"Better take it one step at a time..." He commented while looking around. "[Status]."

Miguel stared incredulously at his current Status Window. The increases were too ridiculous for a simple fight.

"Well, it wasn't a simple fight..." He commented thoughtfully as he remembered how the battle went. "And considering his level at the time... yeah, I guess it might make some sense?" He declared, trying to convince himself that there was some logic behind the Status Window.

"I have 30 available Status Points, so my stats will increase even more." He murmured pensively. "If I consider that the [Achievements] might give me similar things... the gains will become absurd." He narrowed his eyes slightly. "Before I start allocating the Points, it's better to check the description of each new thing to make sure what to distribute."

[KI Manipulation - KI, an energy quite similar to mana. The biggest difference between these two energies is that KI is exclusively focused on physical combat, disregarding the logic behind actions while aiming to achieve goals. Through KI, many ridiculous Abilities were born throughout the ages.

KI Manipulation allows the user to manipulate the KI within their body to a certain extent, with the limit increasing as the skill is trained. This allows their body to be strengthened when desired, or even their abilities and senses to feel stronger than normal.]

[Dandelion - A short-range thrust targeting the target's heart, using the right hand. It sharpens the user's nails suddenly with the use of KI, aiming to end the target's life definitively upon use.]

[Perception (C): The instinct of a Martial Artist who has been through a fight to the death. It can become more reliable than the brain in certain situations, giving the User strange sensations when something is wrong. In rare moments, it even signals the area affected by something dangerous.]

[Martial Body (E) - A body that has evolved through contact with KI, becoming adept at it. In every combat, the body will focus on growing and adapting according to the efforts of its User, aiding in the recovery of vigor and minimizing fatigue. When the combat is finished, whether in defeat or victory, KI will circulate throughout the body in search of improvement through the experiences gained during the fight.

Due to its low level, the increases are not equivalent to the total damage and efforts of the User. As the Martial Body adapts to KI and fights, its effects will become greater.]

[Heat Mode (E) - A state of combat that is entered after focusing on battle. The heart starts beating faster and at extreme levels, causing pain. It alters the User's thought process, making them completely focused on the battle and highly tolerant to pain.

The User's stats receive a +20 increase during this state, while the overall combat level of the User will significantly rise as if they were more accustomed to battles.

This Mode does not seem to be close to its limit, demonstrating the ability to evolve with its uses until it becomes something completely new or gives rise to something new.]

"..." Miguel stared incredulously at the new changes he had received in his active and passive abilities.

It felt too surreal to gain this amount of reward just by completing a Dungeon.

"How...?" He asked the System.

[Some of these Abilities are just consequences of you having another Ability. Most of the new Abilities were not rewards but rather things that were developed by the User throughout the Battle.]

[You can call the User a 'prodigy' or a 'lucky person' if desired. In normal cases, this kind of thing would be quite difficult, but the System facilitated the natural learning of most things, as it is considered an Adaptation Skill.]

"Alright... that sounds more realistic now." With a nod, he accepted this explanation. It was more believable than him simply receiving everything as a reward for completing a Dungeon.

"Oh...! There are still other things." He remembered as he scanned the notifications and saw the mention of achievements.

"[Achievements]," he declared aloud, believing it worked the same way as other parts of the System.

Fortunately, he was not wrong. The Achievements window opened.

[Do you want to claim the rewards for your most special Achievements?]

"Yes." Responding simply, the task was completed.

[The Achievements have been calculated, and the rewards will be shown and delivered.]

[Understanding (B) - Increases the User's understanding of things in general, greatly facilitating learning. It is a skill usually possessed by geniuses, who can learn things at a very rapid rate (few hours at most).]

"A cheating ability, just like Body Martial... System, do these abilities encompass all aspects of learning? Like, in a literal sense?" He asked curiously.

[Affirmative. The User will gain more Mastery with their Abilities from now on, in addition to being able to study various subjects and learn them without much difficulty.]

"... " He stared incredulously at the response, focusing on the part about Mastery. It would be interesting to study subjects and simply master them, but not currently. He had some goals and would focus on them for now.

"Now I just need to distribute the remaining Stats," he declared aloud as he began allocating the stats.

"Is there any other reward to claim?"

[The User has claimed all rewards, including the Mission reward. The extra reward from the Mission was a reinforcement to the Gauntlets.]

[Stone Gauntlets (D) - A pair of highly durable and sharp Stone Gauntlets, an odd combination. The creator of the Gauntlets seems to have done a great job considering that their weight is not enough to slow down the User, while the Cutting Power is greater than its previous version.]

"Why didn't I receive the extra Martial Style Ability reward?" He asked confused.

[Does the User wish to receive the Ability?]

"..No." He replied after thinking for a while. He had received too many things to test and train for now, adding one more would make the already difficult things even more challenging.

"Let me go back home." He said as he looked at the corpse of the Kobold Boss with pity. "Unfortunately, neither I nor the System could loot its materials, otherwise I would have made a great profit." He complained with a 'tsk' sound, as a light enveloped him and sent him back to the Alley.

The Mission had been completed, and although he was supposedly rested, his mental exhaustion was greater than expected. All he desired was a relatively pleasant bath and to rest on his thin mattress for now.
