Passing by the park, she unexpectedly encountered Jinmeiyo, alone on a swing, appearing lost in thought. Upon spotting Maki, she raised a smile and waved, and Maki, finding the situation odd, decided to walk away.

Jinmeiyo, unfazed, followed Maki and asked if she was done with practice. Maki confirmed, expressing her annoyance at Jinmeiyo's consistent improvement despite her apparent idleness.

After two months, Maki felt that Jinmeiyo was getting stronger while she exhausted herself daily. Annoyed, Maki decided to head home, and Jinmeiyo, understanding the situation, didn't press further.

As they walked, Jinmeiyo revealed that Maki was gentle for ending practice early, but Maki chose not to respond. The two had developed a certain understanding during the past months.

Reflecting on the Uchiha clan's strengths and fragilities, Maki recognized the fragility in their souls. Uchiha members, including Madara, Obito, Shisui, Itachi, and Sasuke, all shared this trait.

Maki's encounter with Jinmeiyo, who waited for her consistently, reinforced her perception of the Uchiha clan as fragile. Uninterested in small talk, Maki walked away, leaving Jinmeiyo to catch up and inquire if she was free to play.

Maki declined, opting to go home for dinner. Jinmeiyo expressed frustration, mentioning a delayed plan that had been put off for two months.

"Don't you have plenty of time to play after the holiday?" Maki asked, to which Jinmeiyo agreed. Maki realized that Jinmeiyo survived on others' charity, and she proudly mentioned receiving free food from kind neighbors.

Surprised, Maki asked how long she intended to eat for free, and Jinmeiyo, lacking any sense of inferiority, responded optimistically. Maki invited her to eat at her house, and Jinmeiyo happily accepted. The two walked home together under the sunset.
