After that brief interaction, there wasn't any hiccup between them. Alicia listened attentively to what Kyle taught during the lesson, while Alexis just played around with his pen and notebook.
When the class was over, they discussed a favorable meeting schedule to work on their project. After some back and forth, they decided to meet at Alicia's house between seven and nine in the evening. Alexis had to work hard to convince Alicia to let them work on the poem at her house. He didn't need his mom having the wrong idea at the sight of him bringing a girl home. She tended to get a little... hopeful.
After agreeing on a schedule with Alicia, Alexis rushed to his next class—geography. Out of all the boring subjects Alexis was forced to learn, he considered geography one of the better ones. He was curious about the world, and geography answered his questions, in a way.
