a new story

[11pm[Michael's apartment]]

Micheal was at his desk late at night searching up articles and writing stuff down which was normal for him and he was used to it.

His best friend/roomate Ariel was there so he wasn't alone as usual.

"You still up?" Ariel asked "shouldn't you be asleep?".

"I dont need sleep I need stories ariel" Micheal kept looking for a good story via article and other documents.

"well im going to bed" Ariel sighed walking away

there was a silent pause before she shouted from her bedroom "And dont leave the laptop and your light on again!!".

Micheal ignored her and kept working I'm their small apartment.

Everyone was just tossing ideas around and all were great news ideas but every single one Micheal presented were shot down one by one.

After everyone finished discussing their stories and ideas/conspiracies they started to go to their individual cubicles to get to work.

"hey Michael working on someone else's story again I see." Micheal turn to see who it was and saw Gabriel his friend/partner.

"It is your story, plus a story about a hidden cult who works in secret?? it sounds interesting." Micheal said still typing.

Gabriel smiled at the compliment "though.. have you noticed? hanz have been missing for a while."

"hanz?" Micheal looked at Gabriel confused.

"yeah he's almost never here and when he is he doesnt do anything yet he's still on top as reporter of the month every month!" Gabriel ranted

"well maybe he does things behind the scenes" Micheal suggested.

"I dont think so" Gabriel he handed Micheal a list of employee schedules and hanz haven't been active on the job since he first joined.

"where did you get this?" Micheal took the paper and looked into it.

Gabriel looked around to see if anyone's near him "i stole it from the assistant manager..he doesnt know about this."

"you could be fired for this!" Micheal exclaimed.

"shhhh"

"Not so loud.. just think about it it could be the story that could save your career without breaking your morals." Gabriel explained

Micheal stops to think about this for while but could make up his mind at the moment "..i.. might need a minute-"

"Take your time just call if you need me" Gabriel left the cubicle to get back to work.

Micheal sat down on his bed with the papers in his hands.

He spent a few hours staring at the paper not knowing what to do though his time is very limited exposing a fellow worker just didnt feel right.

But...

Micheal picks up his phone and dials Gabriel's number.

"hello?"

"let's do it"
