Alex sat comfortably on the sofa in the office of Guild Master Mikael of Lestein, taking in the spacious room and elegant furnishings. After teleporting to Lestein with Hilde and dropping her off at the Royal Castle gates, Alex had wasted no time in seeking an audience with Mikael.

"Welcome, Alex," greeted Mikael with a polite smile. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person."

Alex returned the smile and responded, "The pleasure is mine, Guild Master. I've heard a lot about you and your guild's reputation in Lestein."

Mikael chuckled. "I hope it's all been good things."

"Of course," Alex said with a nod. "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't."

Mikael then shared important information with Alex regarding two behemoths that were heading towards the south, with an estimated confrontation that could endanger the cities situated in the area. The guild had requested all silver-ranked adventurers in the Kingdom to form a party and subjugate one of the behemoths.

Alex listened carefully before asking, "Guild Master Mikael, is it necessary to form a party to subjugate the behemoths?"

Mikael frowned at Alex's question. "Behemoths are very powerful creatures, Mr. Alex. I admit that you are a powerful adventurer as a silver rank holder, but we're talking about behemoths here. I hope you will exercise caution."

Alex chuckled. "Don't worry, Guild Master. I know my limits and won't get into any trouble."

Mikael appreciated Alex's confidence but emphasized the importance of being cautious when dealing with behemoths. Alex then repeated his question, and Mikael clarified that forming a party was optional for the subjugation quest.

After their conversation, Alex asked Alfred to pinpoint the current location of the behemoths and opened a gate to their location.

Alex was currently standing on a large rock near the coast and could see the whole shoreline of the southern coast clearly.

The beautiful sea which stretched as far as the eyes could see.

Calm waves hitting the shore creating a peaceful scenario but under the water resides a hideous monster, The giant Kraken.

Using the [fly] Alex flew above the targets location and using [longsense] was able to see the monstrosity hidden beneath the beautiful sea.

Calmly looking down at monster Alex stretched his hands and a great magic blue circle appeared in front of him.

[Poseidon's Trident]

A great ancient water magic with a high destructive power. As he invoke the spell a giant trident made up of ice materialised in front of Alex which he threw towards the kraken hidden beneath the water's surface.The trident created a splash of water as it entered the sea and headed towards the giant Kraken.

The trident hit successfuly at the targets head but unfortunately for Alex it didn't injured the behemoth in the slightest.

The Kraken then looked up at Alex from beneath the water's surface, with its dark vertical pupils fixated on him.

The Kraken made its way up towards Alex who was floating in the air.

Alex didn't attacked the kraken with the intention of killing it but to attract it's attention and bringing it out of the water.

Though he could kill it in an instant it is better for him to not damage the body of the beast much as it is worth a lot if sold to the guild.

As the behemoth made his way out of the water and showed his giant body to Alex. The Kraken used it's giant tentacles to attack Alex but before he could move Alex invoked another one of his spells.

[Descend of Niflheim]

Another ancient water magic which freezed the whole surface of the water making the Kraken unable to move in a slightest.

The Kraken though was freezed it hadn't yet given up and the enraged kraken used more of its power to break the ice and was successful in creating cracks on it.

Looking at the kraken who was about tonget free from his magic Alex didn't care much and decided to end the fight with a final spell.

[Death]

A dark elemental spell which uses a lot of mana but kills the target instantly.

As Alex invoked the spell the kraken glowed with an ominous purple light. As the glow disappeared the krakens dead body was the only thing left covered with thick layer of ice.

Alex didn't wasted anytime and used his storage spell to store the carcass of the behemoth and left the place.

Entering the gate Alfred created teleporting him to the location of his next target.

'Lunar Storm Wolf'

Alex looked at the white coloured giant wolf with battle hungry amethyst eyes eyes.

Looking at the behemoth from the sky Alex was tempted to tame it to make it as his own mount but shook his head and sighed that it isn't possible.

There are a lot of spells to tame wild monsters but no spell for taming behemoths as they don't have any proper reasoning and can't be controlled.

Looking at the majestic behemoth Alex didn't wasted more of his time and used [confine] to confine it and then used his glaive to cleanly sever it's head from its body.

Teleporting to the guild under the shocking eyes of guild master he took out the carcasses of behemoth and was successfully able to raise his rank to Gold becoming second gold ranking adventurer in the history of the world.
