Book on fire!

I put the candle holder on the table beside my bed when I turned around I saw a part of paper squeezed between the headboard of the bed and the mattress!

I was confused I tried to pull it out but in there I found other papers I pulled them out and started to check them, I had 4 papers in my hand but those papers were a copy it was so clear it wasn't the original one's but that was so strange those papers were 2 birth certificate for Alexender son of Antonio and Anne and 2 marriage certificates for Gabrielle and Alexender.

but this could be risky who else knows about their secret marriage?

is that a threat or is there something hidden needed to be discovered?

I could sense something strange about those papers.

weeks passed but the palace was still doom and gloom, by the time I started worrying about lord Albert and Peter who just disappeared I went to see their families and I found everything normal they said that they were travelling. how could not they inform me?? I was really sad I missed them and I was worried about them.

I didn't stop thinking. then I was busy presenting my title for grandpa in the kingdom affairs but that was only my role there and I still had to accompany him everywhere without having a choice.

I barely spoke to Laura I would come very exhausted after managing some affairs and I would go to sleep immediately.

"Laura, still nothing about lord Albert and Peter?"

"Nothing my queen...but no worries I'm sure they've discovered something which needed their existence somewhere else.".

"I'm sure they're trying very hard they must be really busy everything is gonna be okay"

my relationship with my paternal family was getting worse every day they started ignoring me totally and their maids and gave me no respect at all.

what would I say titles aren't everything I can't even do anything about them I would not stop thinking that I have a brother out there. I have taken his rights all these yrs long but still, I was afraid to face the truth that I might know who he was.

prince Philip had not returned to his country yet my grandpa won't let him go away before he makes sure that the two countries are getting along well he told me that.

I would look at the papers I found in my room and read the Latin book every day before I went to sleep I was afraid I might have missed something.

3 weeks later

I opened my eyes this morning but the sky was dark it was raining heavily and the thunder was so strong. I didn't find anyone in my room when I woke up I went out of my room but I didn't find the guards I was confused and started searching for everyone

"Laura..?"

"Anyone there...?"

"guards..?"

"my queen?" a voice startled me from behind.

"hah...ooh" it was the head maid of my pavilion.

"where is everyone?"

"It's a hard day today and the thunder had already made some trouble everyone is getting covered"

"do I send the breakfast in your room today or shall you have your breakfast in the dining hall, my queen?"

"in the dining hall pls"

I followed the head maid to the dining hall which was usually full of maids but there was no one there and we hadn't met anyone on our way I was slightly frightened it was deadly calm.

I had my breakfast and then went straight to my room.

I told the made she can take her leave I closed the door and got out my Latin book and started checking it for the day.

I went to have a glass of water and then left the book on the table beside my bed when I turned behind I found the book in flames!

I rushed to put the fire out but I'd already lost some papers I noticed that the black fire cover now had words thickened into it but it wasn't clear I exposed it to fire again curiously and. it was always by my side. I'm afraid I already knew it!
