PART III: Breeding a Son Chapter 62: Discipline for Modesty!

Discipline for Modesty!

15 years on!

I woke up hastily after hearing the alarm's ringtone, that of the Oprah Winfrey, a gift my mother gave to me last Spring season after we had visited my godfather, Don Mustapha and his family. I stretched all sides like a cat then I got up walking lazily to the bathroom, then I halted looking at the mirror staring at my shabby black silky hair. I took a tooth brush and squirted the toothpaste on the surface of the toothbrush then I began to scrub lazily. I showered sharply because class starts by 8am sharp. My dad would pounce on me if I mistakenly Stay a second behind schedules, I know he loves me but the mischievous training he called Modest Discipline eats me up and sometimes Mom would always supports dad's discipline and still pamper me in the end but I still love them to the core. Without them, I wouldn't be in the best school yet a son to the billionaire couple from the linage of the Lions, Khaleefa's. I was often or constantly referred to as the 'Lion's Cub', dumb in my own eyes but highly acknowledged in everyone's eyes. After I had dressed down in my neatly pressed trousers, shirt and blazer accompanied with a black next tie, I scurried down to the dining room to eat then I met my Mom, Dad and Yeesha, my kid sister, dad's goddess I'd forever say.

"Morning Mama. Morning Dada." I greeted as our Butler, Cyrus, dragged the chair for me to sit, then I sat in accordance.

"Morning Son!" Father responded with slight nose turning to Yeesha, feeding her sandwich with a smile. He pampers her a lot.

"Morning darling. How hard have you prepared for first day at school after a very long holiday, hmm?" Mother asked

"Very hard, Mama. I'm simply excited about it." I said with a slight smile, to be real about it; I wasn't ready for a first day after holiday, chemistry sucks.

"You don't sound to excited about it, Kareem. The Khaleefa's go for the best..." Father began with the family quote as I completed

"...at its peak." We said in unison. "I know"

"That's right! And don't do that again, a'ight?" Father said. I made it sound like culture but he wanted my recitation from my heart.

"C'mon baby, he's only saying what he knows. Jamal, you just get too off sometimes." Mother pointed shrugging

"Now you'd defend him all you want, babe." Father replied Mother In defense "My father didn't give me all the sweetest and loftiest comfortability growing up despite the fact that I was a son to a freaking billionaire, I worked for every achievement. He made me learn the hard way. That's what I'm about, I need him to learn better." Father stopped turning to his meal as Yeesha smirked at me in mockery. Once I reacted to her nonchalance, Dad would slit my throat before scolding her, so what's the essence?!.

"Enough with the sermon. Kareem did you hear your father? Good! Eat up! Larry's

waiting, you don't want to be late again, am I right?" Mother coaxed

"Right!" I said. I wiped my mouth with a small piece of white cloth as I stood up to leave. First, I kissed my mother on the forehead "Bye Mama. I love you, a'ight!" I said then she smiled nodding positively patting my back. Then I went over to my Dad

"Bye Dada. I'll be a good kid, trust me. No one's calling you over!" I assured him with a smile then he smiled back. I said exactly what he wanted to hear, then he said.

"Dada loves you!" He said as I smiled while he exchanged a fist bump. He turned to Yeesha "C'mon goddess! Time for school. Cut their ASSES."

Mother turned to him with a questioning look as her brows tilted, he used the wrong word.

"ASSES? Baby, you're unbelievable." She scolded calmly

"Don't worry y'all. I understand what he's trying to say Mama. Don't flick!" Yeesha added comfortably. Father laughed as well joined

"Yeesha! C'mon lets go!" I held her arm almost dragging. Father Looked at me, I knew it was a reminder about women; I was in no position to lay a finger on a woman. Then I refrained gently putting my arm around her shoulders instead

"Can we go now?" I asked smiling forcefully then father nodded swiftly affirming to my kind hearted gesture. We walked out almost scurrying as Bella held Hazel's bag pack behind us. When we got to the car, I asked Larry to hold on as I ran back to mother who was about leave the dining room, she turned to me with zero surprise.

"What again? Don't ask me for no cash, Jordan." She countered correctly

"...Mama. I need the money for some tutorials...." I tried to make up an excuse

"Look man. Its your mother you're talking to, ain't your girlfriend ok? I raised the brain itself not just the person using it." She countered again

"Mama, I know. Its really important. To be honest, we got a small get together at school. The genitor would be there. Believe me, Ma!" I tried to coaxed

"That's not my problem you know. Ask your Daddy!" She turned taking a glass of wine along, her favorite. I ran to ran again facing her ass she halted finally

"I promise, Mama. Just fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500)." I concluded specifically

"Work for it. You heard your fathers' sermon, didn't you..." She added. My face squeezed innocently "I don't believe you, Kareem but I'll send it in thirty minutes. Pray you don't mess up, you know Khaleef, right.....A'ight! Go on!" She warned walking away like a model that she was. Then I screamed underneath my breath, a YES. I ran to the car as Larry he kicked the engine as we sped away in an accommodating speed. While on the way, I was busy with my phone texting Lamar Curtis (Bunny) and Jeff Marco (Hoodie), my American buddies. Lamar's father was a General in the military and his mother, a surgeon while Jeff's father owned a Vineyard, strictly wine production and a ranch owner and his mother often handles the affairs of the ranch and even a five star hotel gifted to her on her 26th birthday earlier.  Yeesha turned to me as if she was pricked by a needle while holding her phone

"J! We got a shoot by Sats, remember?" She said tilted her head. How could I forget that this Sister of mine was a fashion freak. My reaction was normal, always reluctant.

  "So?" I simply asked sarcastically

"It's Los Angeles, stupid." She snapped turning away to her phone

"One more stupid and I'll mess your hair up. Try me!" I threatened. That was part of her weaknesses. She smirked

  "You wouldn't dare, Kareem."

"Dad's not here to lock you under his clamp, trust me I'd mess you up. Who cares about Angeles? We're talking about live tours not some freaking photo shoot. Wait, what's so important about photography anyway!" I expressed my distaste

"You're unbelievable, Kareem. Who wouldn't LOVE photo shoots, you're such a kill joy!" We chuckled instead "Its time to get your car, Kareem. Ain't you tired of some chauffeur driving you around? Haa!" She said whispering finally rolling her eyes.

"Sounds like a good idea but I'm not interested. I'm a billionaire's son, equally a billionaire. There's a reason why I'm called The lions' cub. Goddess Hazel!" I pointed out proudly with a proud smile

"Oh whatever, J! Too full of yourself!"

"I didn't obstruct your glory, did I?" I said sarcastically with a smile then she shrugged giving me a light punch on my chest

  "To hell with you,

 Jordan."

Our car pulled over at the parking lot then we bid Larry goodbye as we struggled down   the car walking through the hallway. Hazel's friends, Dana and Lara Hudson twin daughters to the school's principal.

"See you later, honey!" I said to Hazel's frowning face as I kissed her on her cheek to cheer her up, she forcefully smiled but I cared less because I knew she'd get over it any moment she needed a quick cash. Her friends stood admiring me, I could feel it. Then I gave them a half smile as they blushed to it as Hazel blurted

"Yuk! Take my bag. We've got a content to create. We can't lose our fans to your silly reactions to my ugly brother!" She said authoritatively, they followed like groupies.

Then I walked away in my splendor and eloquence, girls in all grades wouldn't stop staring at the billionaires' son. I overheard some chuckles and whispers

"This guy is hot as hell!"

I kept a tight smile and fierce look, it was one thing to stare at me and another thing to approach me. I walked to my class as the girls turned to me in admiration while some assumed it was my usual pride parody; all of that don't matter to me at all.

Lamar and Jeff were sitting on the tables while their legs rested on the chairs as we shook and hugged. We were known to be the The billionaire gang, all handsome, brainy and wealthy.

"C'mon Drill, what did you tell her?" Jeff asked

"What else! We got a party with a genitor. She was the closest person I could lay my hands on. I even forgot about it until breakfast!" I explained as we laughed to it. We all had strict parents so getting instant money was a problem when it came urgent. Jeff said he had a contribution for the less privileged while Lamar said he wanted to help a friend he assumed to be short of cash at the moment. We sat on our respective seats in a straight column at the back of the class as our Math professor entered with a rolled sleeve and a fitting black pants and shoes assisted with an afro and reading glasses. He always maintained a serious look to scare us all because he assumed rich kids misbehave most times. Then Jeff whispered

"I've sorted out chics for the party! Trust Hoodie!" He said underneath his breath as we swayed our hands in excitement while other students turned to see what was happening. Professor Simon turned to us where the attention was transferred to. He  came a bit closer

"Can I have your maximum attention not your distraction, Mr Curtis, Mr Marco and Mr Khaleefa. Thank you!" He turned away

We chuckled in unison avoiding out professor's gaze as someone feminine cautioned from behind me

"Can y'all keep it low somehow. Some of us can't grasp in a blink!" Pixie Morgan

"Well I didn't ask you to be dumb, a'ight!" I blurted disrespectfully as my friends laughed tapping my shoulders. If my father was here, I'd be grounded for a month, good thing he wasn't. I could see that she felt bad over what I said to her but I was really passive and careless. Zoe Nick, her friend, daughter to an activist replied

"Not because you're a billionaire's son means you can treat people like crap."

"Your dad's activism has got a huge influence on you. Bravo Zoe!" Lamar added

We laughed in sarcasm finally Prof. Simon turned to the students entirely

"Is there a problem from behind?"

"Absolutely not, sir! Except trying to solve the algorithm!" I blurted. The class bursted into laughter then he interrupted

"Silence class. Can we not have a clowns' parody? We are here to learn not jest. Is that clear?" Simon said instructing us.

"Yes sir!" We answered in unison.

Zoe raised her right hand up, I really thought she was about to ask a question but no.

"Sir! These three wouldn't let us listen attentively, can you talk to them." Zoe looked at us in distaste, she imagined to have beaten us to death. I sighed

"Oh son!" I said underneath my breath. Mr Simon scoffed then continued

"You know I'm beginning to get worried and fed up over your attitudes, gentlemen. See me in my office, y'all!" Simon demanded then he continued lecturing. I turned to Pixie and Zoe who looked contented then I said

"That was childish suckers!" I turned away

"These girls are stupid. What the hell?" Lamar lamented

"Who cares! They got nothing on us, boys! I just can't wait for this weirdo to head out!" Jeff added

"For real!" Lamar and I added in unison finally concentrating on the lecture.

                     ******************

"Your parents would be here any moment!"

Simon said staring into our faces like criminals while we stood silent. Our parents would definitely ground us for this little catch fun they accredited to be unruly behavior. We tried our best to make him stop but it seemed like his mind was made up.

"Sir, we admit that we made a mistake and we are ready to take responsibility but can you at least call off the urgency please?" I said more politely than ever while my friends nodded in agreement to what I said.

"Look kids! I'm trying to protect my job. I'm obliged to pass out my responsibilities which includes disciplining students like you. Do you understand?" Simon said defiantly taking off his glasses.

"Sir, is there not anything we could do to reverse this? You don't understand, our fathers would eat up for dinner tonight..." Lamar said truthfully, we nodded as well.

"That's the only way out!" Simon said simply

"We could change your life in a minute. I can handle it. Just for today if you don't mind, I can handle the bills.....we all can!" I offered as they nodded again. This suggestion got him infuriated.

"Y'all think you can offer a bribe, yes? Is that the new resolution you all came up with? Your parents would definitely hear about this, no doubt." Simon added strongly

I should've kept shut but the voices in my head wouldn't let me think straight. After 10 minutes, after my friends fathers came in, my Dad came in last. He apologized for the lateness, he said that traffic was a big hindrance. The disappoints on their faces had explained, especially my dad's look was for the worse, I thought to myself. The professor began explaining the earlier scenario to them. They Discussed for almost an hour before they came into a conclusion which brightened their faces, luckily enough we weren't expelled or suspended u for our behavior. They were given some few minutes to talk to us privately. I stood quiet not knowing what to begin with. I remembered would always advice that the use of SORRY Could work magic but not in situations my dad was involved. He stared at me in silence waiting for the first word I would utter. My mouth watered, I gulped down as i waited for his scoldings and screaming instead.           "Meet me at the house!" Then he said walking out.
