It’s Not Safe

Theodore was curious about what happened to Maxwell and the others. From the looks of it, they seemed to have gone to the base but didn't like the conditions there. 

"Have you guys been to the base?" Theodore finally asked after they were silent without saying anything. 

Maxwell seemed to scratch his cheek hesitantly before answering Theodore's words, "Yes, we have been there, it's just that the conditions there are not much different than surviving outside the base," Maxwell explained later. 

Hearing Maxwell's explanation, Theodore also saw a speck of hatred in their eyes; it seemed that something had happened to them when they were at the City A base. 

"Looks like something bad happened to you guys. If I may know which area you live in?" Roxanne spoke this time. 

"We're in the northern area. You must know how bad that place is," Collin said as he sighed softly.
