That was all that Le Ying could hear before dying.

'Ha, where am I.' Thought Le Ying.

'All I remember last is being hit by something and everything went black.'

'Did I die? How did I die I was so young. Urg why does life have to be such a bitch, my life started to take such a good turn too.'

'No use fretting about it now that I'm dead. Where am I though?.'

'I seem to be surrounded be liquid then something hard?, maybe a shell?'

'WAIT WHAT!. Am I not human again?. What could I bee then? I can't really guess at the moment though since I have no clue where here even is.'

'I have been waiting here for long enough. I am hungry and tired.'

'How do I get out though? Should I start hitting it? That's probably the best option I have for now so let's do it.' After Le Ying thought that he immediately started to hit the hard surface.

*Bang*

*Bang*

*Crack*

'Well that confirms that I was in an egg of some sort. But if that is so, why does my body feel so human like. 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head and two thumbs.'

'Why am I so human like even though I am in an egg? Eh that's something for me to figure out when I get out.' Thought Le Ying.

After 4 more hits the shell opened up enough for Le Ying to get out of it. And that is immediately what he did.

The first thing he noticed was the clean air. It didn't smell like a modern city at all. It was like there was no pollution at all.

He then also noticed how much vegetation is around him. It seems that he was on the outskirts of a forest due to there being plains near him.

When he noticed the plains near him he immediately started to walk towards it as Le Ying didn't know what sort of world he was in.

As soon as he took a stepped forward he stumbled and fell on the ground. When he got up he noticed his small little hands. He then looked down and saw his little feet too.

'No wonder I fell over, I'm in a body that I am not used to. Wait did I get reincarnated! Yes I must have gotten reincarnated. Ok... ok what sort of world should I be in?'

For about an hour after that Le Ying kept thinking about it while trying to get used to his new body. His new body seemed to be around 4 years old.

He finally was able to walk properly after that hour and started to look around more. In the distance further into the plains, he saw smoke.

As this is the only sign of at least minimal civilisation he could find he went towards it.

After about 10 minutes of walking he could start to hear sounds from what could only be civilisation.

Immediately after thinking that, Le Ying saw some houses. The houses were made out of thatch and wood but they still looked like houses.

Around those houses, there was people walking around them. Some seemed to be carrying things, who mainly seemed to be women, while others seemed to be carrying weapons or straw.

When Le Ying got closer to take a look some of the people with weapons saw him and started approaching him.

"What are you doing here boy? Where are your parents?" Stated one of the guards.

The language didn't seem to be something that Le Ying should understand but he somehow could.

'What is going on? Doesn't this seem like one of those cliche fam-fictions scenes? Let's just act like I don't know where my parents are for now.'

"I don't know where my parents are s-sir. All I remember is waking up in the forest and walking here."

'Please buy it, please buy it, please buy it.' Le thought hopefully.

2 of the 3 guards then immediately turned towards each other and started talking. They talked for 30 seconds then turned to the final guard and talked again.

"Alright boy this is what is going to happen. You will be in the middle of all of us and will then be guided to meet the village chief. You understand that?." Stated the middle guard.

"Yes I do." Le replied while walking towards the guards slowly.

As he approached them, 2 went behind him while the last 1 stayed in front to guide him. They arrived at a hut that seemed a bit better than the rest after about 2 minutes of walking.

*Knock*

The guard that was guiding Le walked up to the door and knocked. There was a clatter and a man who seemed to be in his 70's came to the door.

"Village chief, we have brought a kid to you who has seemed to have lost his memories after being in the forest. What would you like to do with him sir?." The guard at the door said to the village chief.

"So he has no recollection at all?." Said the village chief in a raspy voice.

"As far as we have seen sir, we believe that it is true. We all saw him walking from the direction of the forest and none of us recognised him."

"Ok. Since he has lost his memories there is nothing else we can do exempt care for him." The village chief said after turning towards Le.

"Do you have a name boy?."

"Yes I do sir, that is the only thing I remember. My name is Le Ying."
